I contacted All Backyard Pro through yelp and received a quick follow-up. I live on a quarter-acre lot and tried to do some failed landscaping on my own using a free-mulch dump. It didn't work out and looked awful. Merced and his team came and removed all of the old mulch + the weeds that had overtaken it. Well if you would've asked me about them maybe a month or two ago I would've given them a fantastic review because when they came they actually did a really good job and they didn't charge that much and then one day they stop coming. They stop calling they stopped texting they stopped communicating I have no idea why I don't know what went wrong I don't know what the problem was all I know is that I tried calling I tried texting I tried doing all those things numerous times and I got nothing and I have no clue what I did or if something happened to them I thought maybe they're business closed maybe somebody died I have no idea because they don't with customers and although they did a job with the lawn a hold of They were not reliable but I let it go because they did a good job with the lawn when they did the signs show up sometimes they would come on time other times I would have to write them at least two times maybe three times to get them to respond and I understand being busy and I don't know how many people are running this particular company but the bottom line is is that it's not really the customers problem if they're running and company and it says that they're reliable and all these other things and they should be what they say they are and sadly they wouldn't come out when they said they were there's many times he said they would be there and they didn't show up or there were times that I would have to write more than once to get them to respond and it was unfortunate but they did that a lot so if you're looking for somebody reliable these people are definitely not reliable not only are they no longer reliable but they've stopped communicating to me all together. It's been over a month now and I still have heard nothing back so I'm thinking that this time is permanent and are not coming back and again I have no idea why? I find it very odd that companies Do this? You would think they want to make money not dump loyal customers and piss them off! I guess things change once you're not a first-time customer. I emailed Merced about a repeat of the same services. I requested a cost quote and asked if he could do the job in 7 days on the following Friday. He provided a vague response only that he could do the job if rainy weather permitted. I then had to chase him again the following week to confirm since rain was nowhere in the forecast. He only responded to my email to ask for my phone number (which he should already have if he cared to ask last week or kept any sort of records from previous work). Still no idea if he could come and no idea of cost. On Friday mid-morning Merced had someone else call to say they were double booked and needed to reschedule for Saturday instead. Irritated, I politely agreed that they could come on Saturday at 2pm. The next day at 2:15pm they were nowhere to be found and I called the number from the day before. The woman I spoke with said she'd contact Merced and get back to me. Then she stops to ask, "What's your address?" They schedule appointments with people and have no idea where they are located??? Very professional... The woman called me back 15 minutes later to tell me that Merced says he's not finished with another job and there's traffic, so he'd like to reschedule for Sunday. Unacceptable, so I said no and took my business elsewhere. If you don't want to get slow-rolled by a crew who can't give you a quote, doesn't ask for basic info like your phone number and address, and doesn't keep their word about an appointment (even after they already broke it once), then you'll want to stay away from All Backyard Pro. read more
