There is no better place to get a cocktail in Camden than here. They take each ingredient super seriously without being overly pretentious about it. This is the best place in town to get a drink on Vacation while still rubbing elbows with the locals because they know this is the spot too. The food is delicious, and Ben, Hailey, and the rest of the bar stuff are beyond knowledgeable and welcoming. I can't recommend 40 Paper more highly, but I just hope my wife and I can always find a seat at the bar when we come up.

That beet salad was great. Very quiet and pleasant dining experience. I also had the pork osso bucco and we shared a little dessert. An easy walk from the B&B we stayed in on Elm St.

You will find Italian, French, Brazilian, African tajine and of course a burger . We started with the house dip which is amazing red pepper served with beautifully roasted pita bread. The portions are huge so we decided to share the schnitzel. As expected, a huge serving. Perfectly cooked so the chicken was not dry but tender and the breading was crispy and crunchy. It had a honey mustard drizzle which I don't normally love but it worked here. We swapped the beer braced cabbage it comes with for the truffle fries which were incredible and so many even shared we could not finish them. Obviously hand cut and fried here. The flourless cake served with raspberries and cream was excellent also. Truly fine dining experience with a very well thought out and executed menu

White table cloth service. Servers were all excellent. Knowledgeable, friendly, efficient. This place has the best fine dining experience in the mid-coast. Food was outstanding- every course. I did find the printed à la carte and dessert menus odd as they list the dishes' main ingredients but lack any preparation detail. So we found ourselves having to ask about several dishes before being able to make a selection. Maybe it is on purpose but it made me a bit uncomfortable to keep asking about preparation of the dishes throughout the courses. The only real negative for us is the same negative we had 10 years ago. We were seated in the porch area and I suspect they fill this area first as it has wonderful views of the Camden Hills. Both times we have been seated in there, there have been loud, fairly obnoxious diners (#-bombs flying this last visit) in the room with us. Complete turn off but nothing the restaurant can do about it. We will try Natalie's again but will forgo the porch dining for another room.

Have returned twice since then. As the menu is small and hasn't changed since my first visit, the charm has worn off. I usually share the roast half chicken plus 2-3 sides. The meal was absolutely flavorful on my first visit but not so much the last visit in Dec 2025. Maybe it was a bad night? I thought the flavors fell flat and service was not as attentive. I was celebrating the holidays by treating friends to dinner and had to wave down someone twice to order rounds of drinks. I will give any establishment 20 stars if they are paying attention as to whether your glass is half empty. There are maybe 10 tables so even when "busy" it's never chaotic (well I've only been once and it wasn't too crowded but Hannah said as much and she seems very honest!) The food and service is very much the appeal and they absolutely nailed it. Pointedly they did not spend a lot on interior, yet it's simple, tasteful, and appealing. They don't open every night, just Thu Fri Sat - which is why they still love it - their words but my wholehearted agreement. It's not inexpensive but when someone has clearly mastered their crafts like these two, I am onboard every time. Also, you know when you love a place but after going a bunch of times you get kinda tired of the menu? Well these two change menu every three weeks! Camden has a bunch of restaurants that cater to the tourists - they are fine and some are even good but not special at all. But this place, what can I say, I fell in love and will be back often!
