Thai chicken rice bowl, sweet potato fries and the bacon beer cheese burger
    Garrett D.

This was our first stop at Trackside and we were pleasantly surprised. We were instantly greeted with smiling faces and promptly seated. Our waitress was fast, attentive, pleasant and friendly. The food came out nice and quick and was overall very good. My wife loved the bacon and beer cheese burger that she god which was smothered in perfectly sauteed onions. I got the Thai chicken rice bowl which was accompanied by a delicious Thai peanut sauce. My only critique is that the portion of chicken was pretty small in my opinion. I would guess half a breast, but accompanied with the veggies and rice pilaf it was a good overall portion size. All around the meal was fantastic. My side of sweet potato fries was massive and they were perfectly fried, nice and crunchy, but not overdone. The bar area looked fun and the restaurant was completely kid friendly. A great spot for a weekday lunch date that we will absolutely try again!

    Cheeseburger and onion rings

I have to say, that was a really good burger and onion rings, and the service was top notch as well. They did a great job with COVID protections as well. I can't believe it was my first time there after all of these years, but the Yelp reviews convinced me to give it a go!

Hometown sports bar with excellent, attentive servers (Kelly was awesome) fresh draft beer and a nice menu for this type of restaurant. The piece of haddock on the sandwich was a healthy portion as was the piece of broiled haddock. When the restaurants in the downtown area are closed just walk a few blocks and enjoy its friendly atmosphere.

Hostess took us to our table. Sat for nearly 20 minutes. Waitress never came for our order. We left!

We settled on Waterworks and it was great! Despite our walking we weren't overly hungry and so decided to split a turkey club (another benefit of splitting it was that we could have onion rings!). The staff couldn't have been nicer - and although it was a bit slow, when the sandwich arrived it was perfect - yummy real turkey on sourdough with a nice lettuce and tomato, crispy bacon and just the right amount of mayo. We opted for onion rings - and they are the good kind - thin, crispy, not frozen. It was all totally delicious.

This is not a fancy place, just a friendly neighborhood bar. We were able to get a seat at 5:30 but by 6 the whole area was full including the bar and some of the outdoor seating. Gregory was our server and he was so helpful and attentive, answering my endless questions! I ordered the chopped salad with steak which was cooked perfectly and the salad was fresh. My partner ordered the burger with bacon, cheese and onion rings, and fries. We both agreed they were both great meals. The wait wasn't long, and it was a great ending to our day.

I had the burger special which was fucking fantastic! I was getting pretty tired of seafood at this point and it was the most refreshing change of pace. It was one of those just in time food experiences. C went for the crab cakes. What a gorgeous version of crab cakes they were! Fancy pants presentation and all things considered some of the best crab cakes we had on our trip. Bartender was really friendly and was super proud of their whiskey/bourbon collection. He did point out a few bottles to us that were really quite special and hard to come across. They had some Penelope variants that were unseen to me. I would come back in a heartbeat. If I lived nearby, I would be here all of the time. There were a ton of interesting menu items I would like to try. '26 - 26

Being from New England, I'd seen the Sea Dog brand for years, but didn't know they had a brewery/restaurant. Service was a bit slow, but our server was awesome. Very friendly and had good banter. I ordered the haddock sandwich, blackened (haddock is a must in Maine) and my partner ordered the hummus wrap. I enjoyed the sandwich; nothing too special but really hit the spot. Plus the fries were perfect. My partner thought the wrap was hearty and filling. It's not the best spot for vegetarians, but there are decent options. They have signs around their store about happy hour 3-6pm everyday. However, there's one beer and three cocktails available for happy hour prices and it's only at the bar so no happy hour prices when outside the bar or when sitting outside patio area with a view of the harbor. Ordered the Al pastor tacos as a snack. They were decent with a slight kick of heat that crept up on you. Worth the price. Cute place but I can see why the place gets poor reviews. Attitude is EVERYTHING.

Nothing sanitary here as she tore up mint leaves and picked up fruits after working at the hostess stand. Yikes!! We wanted something simple for dinner so I ordered the Quesedilla appetizer. Right after we were seated, a table of 12 was seated next to us, which I knew would be problematic. To make matters worse, they were splitting their orders up in multiple people. The poor server.
