This place is so great! The place is so clean and the service there is wonderful. The ladies that worked last night were so helpful, kind and thoughtful. They answered our questions gave us a few tips on what we might like by asking us a few questions and even brought out waters without us asking so that we could balance out our sweets. The prosciutto flat bread was GOOD! My iced coffee was yummy, the mixed berry crepe was so fresh and the Nutella and strawberry crepe was delish! Oh man and the gelato is so good. Found this place at Yelp and noticed it had two of my favorite things. Crepes and Gelato! It is located in a very nice area and there's outside seating. They have a very wide variety of items in their menu from paninis to savory crepes to sweet crepes to gelato. Their prices are a bit on the higher end for what you are ordering. We had the Nutella Island Paradise crepe. It was good; but in a very average, nothing special kind of way. It had coconut and bananas with Nutella. I feel like they could had done more with those components than just putting a few bananas inside and sprinkling coconut on top. My expectations were very high for the crepes; however, my expectations were not met. I'm a crepe aficionado and this crepe left me wanting something more. I'm also a big gelato aficionado, so I've had gelato from many other different places and this one felt short. We also had Pistachio gelato, hazelnut gelato, and expresso gelato. Gelato was also average. It didn't really leave a memorable impression on me. I love gelato and although this one was good... I wouldn't come back just to have it. The pistachio was the best of all three. The gelato could had been better, more creative, more texture. The service was okay, the lady looked kind of annoyed which is never a good thing. We have been here several times now. The cafe is very clean and well kept. There are tables inside and out to sit at. We have tried everything from paninis, to croissants, to crepes, to flat breads. All were good flavor. It is located in a strip mall next to a real estate office and I believe a Tijuana Flats. The problem on each of the occasions I have been here is the customer service. They have a good amount of staff but none of them appear to be working. We had to wait on both of our occasions here for them to finish their personal conversation to help us. And the second time they lost many customers as their charge system was down and you could only pay in cash. The prices seemed a little steep for my liking but we were using a groupon so it seemed worth it. Not too sure I would make a special trip just to go here. read more

407 Café is nicely decorated, always seems to be clean, and offers a menu that *looks* delicious! But, appearances can be deceiving. We visited this new Lake Nona establishment for lunch on our first visit. The Hawaiian Luau salad with pineapples, ham, mozarella, and fresh baby spinach was very appealing on the menu. So when it arrived, I was disappointed to find that it lacked flavor. Same thing with my wife's Capresa salad. Maybe I'm watching too much Robert Irvine, but I wanted the food to have more FLAVOR... i.e. seasoning! Service wise, everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. However, it seemed to take an awfully long time to get a couple of cold salads on a day with little business. On our last visit to buy gelato at the counter, one employee was helping the people in front of us, and four others were talking to one another. I wasn't sure why one of them didn't come over to help us. We have been back several times for the gelato, and there are a large number of choices. So far, they've all been delicious! We will probably be back for more-- but we'll steer away from the lunch menu until we hear there's more flavor. read more

This place is adorable and, for me, almost worth the long drive to enjoy a meal here! It's a small, little café located in a plaza in Lake Nona. If the weather is nice you can choose to dine outside (they're pet friendly ) too. They serve salads, paninis and, my personal favorite, both savory and sweet crepes. Everything is made to order so you know it's fresh. Anyways it's a little overwhelming going through the menu trying to figure out what you want. Since we were there for breakfast, I decided to go with a savory crepe. I made sure to do my Yelp research beforehand and thanks to Mariacristina R's review, I decided to try the smoked salmon crepe and also asked them to go light on the cream cheese (thanks for the tip!). The crepe was huge and more than enough to share . It was light yet hearty and very filling. Unfortunately, we were all too stuffed to order dessert. Not only do they have the sweet crepes to choose from but they have a great selection of gelato. Hope to save room for it next time. Service was great. I was however very disappointed to see prepacked loaf's and pastries in the display case. you can't miss the they still have the cellophane wrapper on them. I can get prepackaged lemon pound cake at a gas station. This place is better than that. The tea selection is decent and they serve a good quality tea (mighty leaf). The staff was very nice, Both ladies we interacted with were very friendly and welcoming. They seem to clean obsessively, when ever they weren't helping someone they were wiping something down. I've now been to 407 Cafe twice, and have been very happy each time! I was initially lured in by great Yelp reviews and a coupon, but I will definitely be going back! They have both sweet and savory crepes, as well as delicious paninis and salads. My mom is a vegetarian and was pleasantly surprised by the number of options she had. I had a four cheese panini on my first trip and a ham and cheese panini on my second- both were absolutely delicious. To finish off the meal, who doesn't enjoy a nice scoop of gelato?! The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because they only had almond, coconut and soy milk to choose from. This place tries to be something it's not. It has a chain quality and feel. Nothing is fresh and the vegetarian options are just a joke. No vegan option at all when I asked! I will say that it is a good crêpe, but not the best. They are a little pricey for the portion that you receive, but the place is nice and cute to go to chat with friends for a quick lunch. I came here after class with my boyfriend for afternoon crepes. I was born and raised in Europe, so crepes are very dear to my heart! The crepes (Nutella and Dulce de leche) are really good options. No complaints. You can add fruit to the crepe which I think is a great touch otherwise the crepe may be "too saucy". The service was okay; however, the crepes were made very quickly and on the spot! Came here for after class with my girlfriend and we got crepes, so that's all my experience with the restaurant is. The crepes were amazing! I would recommend them to people I got the nutella crepe and my girlfriend got the dulce de leche crepe and we had no complaints, definitely would get it with the banana I thought it added a great density and taste to the crepe. Adding the fruit is so pricey though it was like an extra 1.60 for the banana which I thought was CRAZY (but could be just my opinion) also I was a bit confused with ordering they had us take a seat since we were dining in but the person that was on the main desk had to come to us so it would have just been easier if we ordered and then they brought the food to us afterwards. This is a quaint little cafe in Lake Nona area and an excellent alternative to Panera or crispers. Their panini was good, soup was excellent and gelato is quite exquisite. Since this place opened i heard a lot of buzz about it. In truth this place is in a nice area, and the venue is very sleek. The sweets are good but the food itself was lacking to me. I would not recommend this place. We had 3 crepes of which two were raw. I mean you could see the dough inside the crepes which made it taste awful. The waitress bought 2 of the crepes without fruits when I had specifically asked for it. I mean can't miss it twice. She ended up charging my mother 60$. We walked out half hungry.
