I highly recommend Ron at 417 Massage. He is very knowledgeable about every muscle in the body and how to work them. He did a great job of adjusting his massage to what I needed. He didn't just attack knots. He took a full body approach. He also pointed out some of my weak areas and gave great tips on how I can work on those areas on my own which I really appreciate. I'm so grateful for Ronnie! I went to him for my sciatic nerve mostly, and also my neck & shoulders. I have had surgery on both of my shoulders & have also been told I needed carpel tunnel surgery. In one hour I am so amazed at how much better I feel. I can stand up straight for the first time in a long time.He told me things about my body that i never disclosed to him. I have no idea what could have possibly happened to the other reviewer, but Ron is fantastic. He definitely will give you a sports massage and is knowledgeable about what he's doing, but he communicated with me throughout the entire process and was very aware of my comfort level. If you want a nice Swedish massage, he can do that too...but if you want a bodywork that really addresses physical concerns, this is the guy to see. read more

I prefer a sports/deep tissue massage and have had several in the past however, this was maybe a bit too much pressure, border line painful. However, the last half of the massage was really bad. I was lying on my stomach and he was at the end of the table rubbing my feet. This lasted for what seemed like a very long time and consisted of taking his thumb and barely rubbing on the bottom of my foot. Every now and then the rubbing would slow down or kind of stop, which led me to believe he was either texting or checking his messages. I could even feel him put something down on the table. He abruptly quit and told me to take my time getting up and then left the room while loudly shutting the door behind him. What should have been a relaxing experience ended up being somewhat painful and awkward. Before I got to the salon, the company used to book appointments for the shop texted me to asks how much of a tip I wanted to leave which I thought was weird, since I usually tip 20.00 for a job well done, I opted for 10.00 before and was going to give him another 10.00 afterward if all went well. I'm so glad I only gave 10.00. Not sure if that's the reason he gave me really only 30 minutes or if it was because I did the Groupon. read more

Ron is a very gifted therapist. I would have to question anyone who gave him a bad review, because he is awesome. I bought the groupon, and went back several times after that. The pressure is up to you, he said that like 5 times. I was very pleased with my massages. read more

Ron did a great job on my neck and helped my cervical dystonia.

This is the worst massage I have ever had. He massages for a minute or two, then he grabs something, then the last 15 minutes he rubs my feet. I specifically complained about my upper back and shoulders, but he did not work on them enough. He also talked about taking his son to see a stripper for his birthday. I think he was kidding, but it was still inappropriate for him to be talking like that to a female that was unclothed. He also talks too much making hard to relax. read more
