    Breakfast chorizo and eggs

Well I had high expectations. However, I ordered chorizo and eggs and it was overcooked. The beans and rice were ok. The tortillas were horrible. They tasted like they just came out of a package and warmed in the microwave. Service was good, food, not so much.

Yelp Fam! I'm back with another review! Over the last couple of years, I've made it a point to go to Chattanooga with my sister and brother-in-law. It's normally a day trip during the spring or summer where we just walk around downtown, sit by the water, and enjoy the outdoors. There's always so much to see. Sometimes, you can even catch a vendor event where folks are selling different items all along downtown. There are always people around--whether it's at the aquarium, on the sand, or just walking around. It's such a lively place. Aside from the activities, there are some great places to eat. My sister and brother-in-law recommended that we try Taco 423. After about 2.5 hours of walking, we had definitely worked up an appetite, and I was in the mood for tacos. The place was a bit of a walk from where we were, but I needed the exercise. The inside was cool, kind of dimly lit, and they had TVs and a bar if that's your thing. The service was really nice and attentive. Even though it wasn't my sister and brother-in-law's first time there, the staff made a point to welcome me and share some recommendations from the menu. Now, let's get to the food. My sister and brother-in-law opted for the tacos with beans and rice, and of course, what Mexican feast is complete without queso? I, on the other hand, went for the chicken enchiladas with refried beans and rice! I order this dish whenever I go because it's always so good! I even got an extra side of queso because I knew one wouldn't be enough. The food was filling--so much so that we didn't need to take anything to go. That walk back to the car came in handy because we were stuffed! Usually, I need a to-go box, but not this time! I would definitely recommend trying this place out. The wall art is amazing, the bathrooms were clean, the inside is spacious, and I think you'll really enjoy yourself.

This food was not good. Not at all, especially for the price. We were finishing our day at a conference and walked down from the Westin and got food to go. I got a chicken enchilada dish and was charged two extra dollars for sour cream. We didn't wait long and the bartender was nice enough. But getting to our room and trying our food was so disappointing. The chicken was rubbery and cheap, the refied beans tasted off. It's an easy thing to cook but even the rice was cold and tasteless . Not even the sour cream could fix the taste. We should have gone somewhere else especially for the 18 dollars plus tip we spent. Go anywhere else

So one of the guys I work with goes here 3 times per week. They have his fajitas ready and waiting on hime the same time each of those days. How cool, right? They have really good food and the service is good. Photos are included. Give them a try as you enjoy West Village!

Wow, the food is still amazing... Service was just kind of rude. And not friendly. I'll still come back here because it's a really cool place to look at and you can't beat the guacamole but something has changed since the last time I was here just the overall feeling of hospitality is gone.

Service was not friendly but it was fast. Probably because the place was empty. (That should have been warning enough). Instead, I stuck around and ordered Fajita Nachos. Sounds simple, right? It came out extremely fast, BUT... every bite was hard and chewy. Not from being over cooked, it was from the poor quality meat they use. (Explains the cheap prices.) The steak and the chicken tasted identical and each one left a big wad of hard grisly meat in your mouth that was impossible to chew and swallow. This was an absolutely horrendous dining experience. I highly recommend that you avoid. Only cost me $20 for such a terrible experience and within an hour, it's not sitting well. This place looks kinda cool from outside but mark my words, it will not make it in this high rent plaza with such subpar food.

Service was great, food even better. Birria and carne tacos were delicious, margarita was strong, Pacifico was smooth. Ambiance/music was nice. Definitely coming back!

Man, the food portions were huge. Flavor was good also. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Great spot close to the Westin Chattanooga downtown.

At first, servers were scarce, but as I got up to go to the bar, the bartender must've seen me and was on his way. He took our initial drink order. At $14 per glass of wine, we just went for the bottle at $54 and a charcuterie board at $27. We are on vacation, so why not. The view is excellent. The weather cooperated. People watching from on high was fun, and the nature scenery was nice. Service was a little slow, but not an imposition, however, if it gets much busier, that could be a thing. We later learned they previously had a $10 cover, but we did not get asked for this and it must be a thing of the past, or I understand it is waived for guests of the Edwin Hotel (the bar's affiliated with the Edwin) but we had dinner reservations at Whitebird, the affiliated restaurant. The charcuterie was good with cheeses, cured meats, jams, crackers, etc. all in all, the star is the Al fresco seating and the River, and of course the company of my beautiful wife! So, go for outdoor seating and bring your own beau!

If you want outdoor seating, get here early because space outside is limited. Inside, there's plenty of seating options with high-top tables, couches, and bar seating that create a relaxed atmosphere. We came mainly for the view and drinks, and the view absolutely delivered. Watching the sunset over the river was easily the highlight of the experience and worth seeing at least once. For drinks, we ordered Old Fashioneds and Margaritas. Unfortunately, both were just average and didn't live up to the setting or atmosphere. Service was also disappointing. The staff was not very attentive, and at one point we actually had to leave our table and go to the bar to find our waiter. In the end, the incredible view couldn't make up for the mediocre drinks and poor service. Great view, but this ended up being a one-and-done visit for us.

It's not quite a 3 star but didn't quite meet a 4 star either. Let's start with what's great here…read more A great oyster program with delicious oysters from a range of East Coast locations. Wonderful cocktail list with well balanced, well made cocktails. I loved my old fashioned and others enjoyed their drinks too. Very nice, attentive service from the servers although they brought out the oysters without telling us what was what and service was at times bumpy. The interior is nice, with it feeling casual but somewhere you could bring a date. And we enjoyed the lobster cakes which were well done, nice sauce, without overwhelming the sweetness of the lobster itself. So that was positive. Where it failed: the tuna bites on regular and not crispy rice was hard to eat. It was good but a little unruly. The halibut piccatta was VERY dry, almost bordering on inedible. Their special, which was a bento box was not great. The flavors didn't go together and their sushi eggroll had cream cheese which is very gross. Their steak frites was fine if not that memorable. All in all, I would come back for their drinks and their oysters but not sure I would come back for a full meal here.
