Trendy vegan/gluten free spot with a few different locations. Would go back but the menu is very heavy on avocado... and if you don't like avocado, well you have only a couple hearty lunch options. I had the lasagna which was quite good but very watery/wet, most likely from the raw zucchini. I've had similar dishes before elsewhere and not had this problem. They graciously left off the side of avocado and replaced it with hummus and it was served with their warm grilled seeded bread that was definitely the best part of the meal. Service was a bit weird, you order at the counter and they bring it to you. Both servers came over to me at the same time (one to clean the table I was sitting down at and the other to bring my food), and they got really flustered around each other causing them to throw my dish in front of me, making the bread fly off the plate, and then he just picked it up with his bare hands and dropped it in the pool of liquid on my plate, no apology, and just walked away. Tried Acai bowl... So can not comment on anything else but it was just okay. I was expecting it to be chilled but somehow it was lukewarm... which is a weird temperature to serve acai bowl. This is the only place I tried acai bowl in Copenhagen (based on Yelp review) so maybe this is like this everywhere in Copenhagen. The beauty of this restaurant is their concept! Its one of the rare places in Copenhagen which offers vegan and gluten free options! Through the years the quality unfortunately has really gone down, they started off being very authentic and their vibe matched their concept, it seems like the quality has gone down as they started opening up more restaurants making it more of a chain. i don't mind making and eating raw food but i do NOT like overpriced restaurants or eating in the city center. however, being out with a gluten-intolerant vegan really limits lunch options. he suggested this place and, well, colour me impressed! i got the 'thai noodles' which was zucchini and carrots cut into fine noodles and smothered in a coconut milk-based sauce. the portion was generous compared to the precious amounts i've been served in similar places; i couldn't even finish it. a sign near the register advertised a free ginger-apple shot if you check in on facebook. i highly advise you take advantage of this; that delicious shot woke me up like no cup of coffee ever has. word of warning: plan on getting your food to-go if you can't handle sitting on bleachers. read more

Stumbled across this place 20 minutes before they closed, with a cranky dining companion and low blood sugar. The food (and timing) was a miracle. Highly recommended: the lasagna, the juice that contains celery, cucumber and spinach (and a similar one containing apple, celery and cucumber), the chocolate chip cookie, the "bread." After switching over to the paleo diet for 4 months now, I was glad to see that there still some places I could dine at. 42Raw drew me in with their branding and gastronomic beliefs. I had the Paris juice which tastes more refreshing compared to the juices at Joe & the Juice. My friend had the gluten free muffin which she claimed to taste quite rich and not overly sweet. As a vegan From California this was quite a treat. I ended up getting the grilled cheese and it was pretty good except quite oily.

I had the raw lasagna and a juice with ginger. They weren't bad. I also got a raw chocolate chip cookie to go. It was very, very dry and chewy. I definitely would not get the cookie again. read more

This place... where do I even start? I ate my way through the menu. I went back so many times I lost count. Their breakfast pancakes are incredible. So tasty and delicious. Their chocolate milkshake is insanely good, I can't even describe how perfect the mix of ingredients was. The brunch was really good value for money - pancakes, bread, sweet potato fries, granola bowl. It was perfect! So delicious. I also tried their acai bowl which is everything you'd hope an acai bowl to be.... and their burger with a patty made from mushroom and quinoa - absolutely divine... The pizza was good (but not the best thing there), and their muffins were delish. I miss it already... This place is honestly a must visit. Everything is gluten free, they're very allergens friendly and their menu is great. It's a very simple operation - simple to make foods, done in their small kitchen just behind the counter - mostly just heating things up I think. But it's still amazing. Great food. Ate here with my sister last week (we are both vegetarians) twice for lunch, that's how good it was. I had a yogurt bowl one day, and it was very healthy and fresh tasting. She had several dishes over the course of her visits, all of which she ooohed, aaahed, and mmmm'd over at great length. Small, casual joint with very friendly staff behind the counter. The chocolate brownie was pretty decent. The matcha tea I'd also recommend. Unfortunately they were not very open to making any sort of specialty coffee beverages. The food here was great. I got the "tapas" plate to try a few things. My impression is that the strengths are the salads, but the sandwiches were interesting and the "lasagna" was interesting to try. Everything was exceptionally delicious. The cold pressed juice tasted fresh and crisp. My only reservation about the place is the staff. They were harried and impatient, almost rude. It was surprising as otherwise I've found everyone in Copenhagen incredibly pleasant. I guess I know now where the grumpy people work. The space is elegant but casual. It is, however, quite small. Most seating is shared, and the place is a bit noisy. Not a place to hang out after you eat. But the food is still worth it. read more
