This is a case where I wish I had read the other reviews before wasting my time and going through the frustration of dealing with dishonest people. Because my story is the same as Shawn, Paul, Dalitso, Bill, Jamie, Kim etc. And all of them were misled, did or did not purchase the car, complained and received the same "apology" from a manager (or an AI, for all I know), who clearly knows about the sales manager's bait and switch scheme - and yet the guy (Omar) still works there and applies his scheme to new customers without any kind of consequences. So I am guessing this is just normal business for them and they do not care. I agreed to the sales price and to an added bundle to cover scratches and other minor repairs (for about $1,500), but I specifically declined (twice), the extra warranty for about $4,000. The original sales guy (Ahmir) was nice enough, but then Omar came in, heard me say I did not want the warranty and came back with a paper stating the final price and asking for a certified check. In the urgency of going to the bank before its close, I did not check the paper (my bad, I suppose I am too trusting), went to the bank and only there realized that he had snuck the $4,000 warranty back on. So I corrected the amount at the bank, after unsuccessfully trying to contact the dealership to let them know, out of courtesy. When I went back to the dealership and told them that I had corrected the amount and removed the warranty, Omar tried 1) to gaslight me, saying that I had agreed about his price, then 2) declared he couldn't sell me a "non-certified" car, then 3) told me he was not making any money if I did not take the extended warranty-certification (really not my problem). So we left. the original sales guy (Ahmir) at least had the decency to look embarrassed. The dealership contacted me an hour later to apologize and Ahmir texted me they would sell me the car at the agreed-upon price, only to text me a few minutes later, as I was preparing the documents and figuring out when to get back there, that the car "had been sold by another store". Looks like a well-practiced scheme. Despicable business practices. Whether you are a new or experienced buyer, I suggest you avoid this place. But if you do want to take on that challenge, be ready to debate and to check EVERYTHING they put in front of you. read more

Do not come here if you value transparency. I purchased a car listed at $26K, but after all was said and done, I'm paying nearly $58K -- more than double. GAP Insurance: I was charged $1,500, when credit unions and insurers offer it for $300-$600. 'Documentation Fee': They added $2,500, which is astronomical and where they padded the deal the most. Etch & Tire/Wheel Protection: These were added without clearly explaining them -- expensive fluff many buyers may not even realize they're agreeing to. As a first-time buyer, I felt misled. They did not clearly explain the financial breakdown, and I walked away with a deal that did not reflect what I thought I signed up for. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back. I drove two plus hours for a vehicle that was advertised as "including all dealership fees". But after my test ride and getting my trade-in appraised, I was presented a deal with a $2000 extended warranty, and a $4000 CPO (certified pre-owned) warranty, which I did not want. I was told I could not purchase the vehicle without the $4000 CPO Warranty. I drove there for a car that was listed for $20,000. Not one that was listed for $24,000. I've never heard of a warranty that was not optional. It was an incredible waste of my time. In the future, I would recommend, including ALL fees in your advertise priced that aren't optional... so basically the "actual"price. Stay away from this dealer. They sold us an unsafe car according to NJ and NY State, with a bunch of lies. The car came with one aftermarket key and one original. According to Omar (sales) and Vento Omar the sells Manager, all I had to do was take the original key to my local dealer and they would program it and he will pay for it.Lies. I went to my dealer, and they said once an aftermarket key is programmed, you can't use the original key, as the old program is deleted and can't be reinstalled. It requires new computer parts for the remote. They have to run diagnostics to see what happened and whether it can be fixed--and it will tkae 2,3h to run diagnostics at 200$/h. Meanwhile, the aftermarket key works very poorly and has to be in a very specific spot to start/turn off the car. In the way home the windshield wiper didn't work so I had to stop & buy windshield fluid and saw the windshield guild was coming out of the car. After this, I paid my local dealer to do a full check-up on the car: the windshield fluid tank is missing a pump, so the fluid doesn't stay in and runs right out--the car is unsafe to drive as my back brake rotors were filed down, very thin, and not passing NYS and NJS inspection. That's not all. It's been over 3 weeks and I still haven't received my license plates that they charged me for and promised I'd get ASAP. Every time I ask when I'll get them, the question is just ignored. Now they want me to drive back to them just so they can save a couple hundred bucks on repairs because they don't like the invoice my local Mitsubishi dealer gave them. Meanwhile, I'd have to take 2 days off work, lose income, and use my sick days--just so they can save a penny. There is no reasoning with them. It took me over a week to get a hold of anyone there, and once the general manager finally called me back, he basically did nothing. Plus, they kept me there for hours, knowing I drove from  Buffalo to NJ for this car, I was tired. They Made me wait hours while they were doing paperwork for another client. And again, they knew how far the drove that I was going on 48h being up. They knew the car it want inspected not safe as the car was sold as is on their website but to me they sold it certified. They send me home on a 600 miles drive in unsafe car. read more

Bought a car from them, pretty good deal. They refused to sell the car without a BS extended warranty that I got down to $800. It takes me 2 weeks of fighting with the salesman and manager to actually get the warranty contract after they said it might not be included after all. It took a formal complaint to the BBB to get the manager to get off his lazy a**. Fast forward to October, I go to use the warranty to get a new key after I lose one and (big surprise) the warranty has been voided. I call of the dealership to complain, they call me back the next day saying it's resolved and reinstated. I go to call the warranty company again, turns out the dealership never activated the warranty, sent over the paperwork, or sent payment for the warranty. They did literally nothing. I came there to purchase a car with an advised price of 14k. When I came to finalizing the deal they add over 11k in fees, ending price 25k . I was able to negotiations the sale to 17k and told them I would pick it up tomorrow. The next day I came with an approval letter and they said I couldn't finance with any but their bank. They would not match the rate I had and said if I bought it in cash they would have to add about 800 to the price after the contract was already signed by the finance manger Omar and me. I knocked on the door to speak with him directly and ask how many time they ran my credit and what was going on with the difference in price since I will be paying cash. Omar told me to "SHUT UP AND SIT DOWN", I asked him to repeat what he just said and he said it confidently again. I left and my mom left a review the owner replied and told us to email him and not even a day later we received threatening emails with my address and name demanding for money or else. And multiple emails saying how they flagged our original post to remove it. Called Friday to setup an appointment for a used car advertised on their site as $12,000.00. They sent me an email ahead of time with all fees and taxes I would have to pay (documentation fee of $799 + 4% state tax + $350 registration fees) Going to be $13,500 total. Drove 2 hours to get there on Saturday (THE NEXT DAY). First thing they said was they raised the price right before I arrived. Price was now $14,000 due to upkeep on the car (it only had 600 miles on it so that didn't make any sense, first red flag). Told them, nope, I'm only taking the $12,000 listed online just a literally less than 12 hours ago. They "talked with manager" and approved that price. I told them I wanted to finance through my bank and was pre-approved. They said that you can only get the online price if you finance through their financial institution at 8% interest. (I said fine because I would just re-finance anyway through my bank). They then said there was roughly $3000 to $4000 in warranty details that had to come with the car. I said nope, I'm out of here. They "talked with the manager" and said the extra warranty details were waived and gave me breakdown of costs exactly as discussed over the phone. Waited 1.5 hours while they finalized the sale. Had to sit through a manager reprimanding a floor salesman because he lost a sale. Made me very uncomfortable and sad for the salesman. Got the final paperwork, when I noticed there was $3000 Pre-Delivery Inspection Service (PDIS) fee tacked on that was not discussed at all, as well as extra 4% city tax. Total was roughly $17,500. I just told them to give me my down payment back and I walked away. I feel sorry for all the salespeople that have to work here under such high stress. Please note, whatever price you see "online", they can change it before you show up and you should add about 3K to 5K extra at a MINIMUM in various fees. Add more if you would like to get any extra warranties. Don't believe any price they give you over the phone. I will not be coming back to this venue. read more

My review comes with many acknowledgments. As a person purchasing a car from out of state and coming from a state with a lot of red tape, I will overlook that my car sat at the dealership for almost a month to get the plates. I will also overlook poor communication between myself and Omar, which led me to believe my car was ready sooner. I drove to New Jersey for no reason and had to return home and continue to wait. I do have to call out this dealership for selling me a used car without telling me the tires were original and EXTREMELY worn down, thus putting my safety at risk. As soon as I went to get my inspection sticker only to learn it wouldn't pass because of the tires. This was within days of finally getting my car. My mechanic told me how lucky I was they didn't blow out as I drove it back up. This dealership sold me a car with original tires and NEVER told me, which is beyond irresponsible behavior from a business that should put the safety of their customers first, not profit. My mechanic suggested that I reach out to them since it's a recent purchase, only for Omar to continue ignoring me. I cannot reiterate that my car sat on their lot for almost a month, so they had more than enough time to tell me about the tires or even to sell me new tires, which they did neither. This dealership is irresponsible and cannot be trusted to purchase a used car, which is why I cannot in good conscience recommend this to them. read more

Watch out for this place, they play many games in different ways to trap your money: they first list a fair market value price on carfax, when you come, you were told if you do finance you will get $1800 discount. When you did the finance they will tell you : oh the finance is to help them to get the $1800 rebate from bank. Rebate is not for you, and if you don't do finance and use cash instead, they will increase $1800 on the listed price. After you agree to do finance, they will recommend you to get $3800 store exclusive certificate (which is actually a store specific warranty) we think it's a junk because Honda still in manufacture warranty does not need 100k power trim warranty, we already have AAA that we don't need road side assistance either, and most likely we won't be able to come back for their store specific warranty. The sales person tell us it's nation wide coverage, I just don't buy it - It says on their flyer this location specifically. Anyway, after we clearly stated that we don't want to buy this certificate or warranty, they suggest reduce the price of certificate to $1899 to try to get us on hook. We still don't want it. So they showed their true face : if you don't want the certificate we have to add another $1899 to your purchase price!!!! Run away as fast as possible from this place, run a bit slower, you will be force to leave $1800 before you can walk out even if you don't buy a car from them After we clearly stated we don't want the car with this ridiculous offer, one of the manager come to try to persuade us to still pay that so called certificate, when we reflect it to a manager called Rafael Figueroa, he said :"what can you do ? All our car come pre certified , of course you have to pay the certificate." Dude, It's not my first time to deal with dealer. Your style of eating is not so elegant, even if you try to swap the optional warranty to so called certificate, we still have option not to buy it . Worst dealer We got a vehicle from willy first we was trying to pay cash and he kept trying to get us to go into a loan only because they get commission from the bank. He played around with the number and convinced us. To get it saying we can get the loan and pay off the same month . That he was going to give it to us for a certain amount but he was going to give us all the protections on it. Which it came out to be an amount he told us it wasnt we still ask before signing and still got the sale amount willy had said but in the first bill it was other wise. Well he got fired the next day. Wow great. But guess what it doesnt end there we havent received no plates on the car yet and is been 1 month and 1/2 we keep calling and they will tell us a day and that day comes and still no plates. They told use they have send the information to the nyc dmv that they are waiting on their response, mind you i called the dmv records department and they keep telling me that no documents have been received for the license number. Dmv is telling me to file a complaint. Which i am going to have to do . They are really not giving me no other option. Is messed up with all the nyc laws in place to be driving around risking my vehicle be taken away from sheriff, just because the temporary tags are only to be driving from a dealer to home until you receive plates. And payment is already due. Everytime i call them to ask for the plate they say i will call you back let me call and check the status and we'll call you back. They never do then they see that you're calling them again and they won't answer the phone. I had to go three times already all the way from New York to New Jersey and waste my gas just because they don't give me a response and I have to go in person to get a response once I go in person to get a response all we're sorry I couldn't get back to you yet over there or just sit down in the table eating and chatting and up. But the only response they give me is a date, but the day never comes . The last thing was an elder lady telling me go ahead call dmv . WARNING: (zero stars) I never got beyond email with this place. I saw a used car listed and asked for an itemized cash out-the-door price based on their bad reputation of adding bogus fess. It went back and forth and finally I got a price with no explanation. It was around $3,200 over the car's advertised price including tax. Tax should have been just over $1,000, reg about $220. So about $2,000 in mystery fees. I was clear about not coming in without the detail (but never would have done so with bogus fees anyway) and when some supposed "operating partner" sent me a canned email about "the utmost care" and I sent a terse response, I got an email telling me I was rude. FURTHER WARNING: You can count on almost all the positive reviews on Google being fake. Most "reviewers" have no photo, almost say the same thing, only have the one review for this place, and they always tout one of two salespeople as being amazing. I don't have a lot for a down payment. I NEED a car. I got a call from Stephanny Perez, a sales consultant here and after we spoke for a minute or so she said "I will get you in a car." I told her I didnt believe her. But I appeared for my appointment ready for disappointment. I never thought I would ever have such a glowing account of a used car dealership or salesperson. It would be easy to say that Stephanny and Route 46 Mitsubishi just went out of their way or did a great job. It was more than that. They listened. They made promises and they kept them. I bought a brand new SUV here back in January of 2016. I actually live in NYC so I made a trip out there with my brother and dad. I had negotiated the price online and through email so everything should be set. This isn't my first time buying a car since I had to buy multiple cars for my parents and other family members before. When we got there, the car we wanted had to get repaired because of a scratch. Now, I don't know if it's a sales tactic or not since they obviously said "oh we have another car in that color but it has a higher trim level so it's going to cost more." But that seems kind of stupid since the higher trim is only about $800 more so I don't really know how much more in commission they would have gotten. So anyways, I gave them the benefit of the doubt that the car I wanted did get scratched. In the end, I stuck to my guns and said I want the trim you promised me at the price that was promised. They were able to find a white color that fit. All in all, we were in and out of there in about 2 hours. We also got financing through them and it was a decent rate. We asked our own bank for a quote and it was about the same rate. read more
