It makes me so sad to leave a less than great review. I have always had good experiences here however the last time i visited my pedicure felt so rushed and poor. I was in and out of the chair in 20 minutes. I left with nails that had streaks, nail polish around the nails. Nails were poorly shaped and the nail polish started a few milimeters away from the cuticle making it seem week old mani from day 1. I could've done a cleaner job at home. The nail tech was nice but the pedi was unfortunately so disappointing. :( read more

I JUST found this nail salon a few months ago because I did a Google search for "top rated nail salons in NK" and 4U Nails came up first! Really like how clean and organized and simply designed the space is. The salon is fresh and bright....love the little details like the aprons and name tags that all of the techs wear and the cute ring holders at each station! I like that they play classical music but have TVs on with the the captions and they have current magazines. I like how it is by appointment only...it seems to be more efficient. AND their nail color options are sooooo pretty....really pretty and many to choose from! (and also current trending shades! ) So far, I have seen a few different techs and they all have been friendly and thoughtful about their work and I have been pleased every single time....I prefer to settle down with the same person and I have mostly seen Leah by chance, but now I have started to request to schedule with her. I have been a customer of 4U nails for a few years now, and I have to disagree with any of the negative reviews here and chalk it up to them being either terrible customers or the staff could have possibly been having an off day. No one is perfect- so take that with a grain of salt. First and foremost the salon is clean, sanitary and bright. My experiences have always been very pleasant from the phone call to make my appointment right to the service down to the moment I leave the shop. The staff are wonderful folks and qhile they are on the quiet side (probably due to the language differences between staff and customers) they still provide a wonderful customer service. I have gotten many pedicures here. The chairs and tubs are always clean, (they have been upgraded recently) the products are legit and smell nice- the polish is plentiful and the massages are welcomed. Keep up the good work. I love going to 4U Nails & Spa to get my nails done and eyebrows waxed. Today I went and got a gel manicure and it turned out great! I chose a pink color and they fixed my nail that was broken. My friends and I made an appointment beforehand and did not have to wait to get our manicures. The staff was very friendly and helpful to us. They gave us a quick massage with it and lotion as a gift. The inside of the nail salon is also very clean and up to date. My gel manicure costed $30. I will definitely be back! read more

I live out of state and regularly get my nails done elsewhere. In a pinch, I needed my nails done in RI prior to an interview. I have long, natural nails and I always get dip powder, with a coffin shape. When the tech looked at my nails, she immediately told me it would be more money if I got coffin. I agreed. After soaking my nails, the tips tore on a few nails. She stated my nails were too thin to keep long and she had to go shorter. With that, she couldn't do coffin shape and had to chose another shape. I was irritated, as this does not happen at my regular salon, which I have been going to for 7 years. The manicure surprisingly came out well and I was pleased with the result, albeit not what I wanted. I tipped 20%. Within a WEEK the top coat was chipping on multiple nails and I had gouges in the dip polish on 2 nails. Again- problems I have NEVER had with my regular salon, using my hands the same way I always do (no manual labor or extensive cleaning). Within a week and a half they were TRASH. I returned to my regular nail salon to have them fixed. My nails were not weak at all, and my tech was able to restore the shape I wanted without artificial tips. My nails look GREAT after returning to my regular salon out of state. I will never return. I was given a loyalty card on the way out- it's already in the trash. read more

This review is long overdue; been coming here for years and its a 30 minute drive but this is the only place i like to have my nails done. 4U is one of the nicest, cleanest nail salons I've ever visited. The Spa Chairs are new and soo comfy! Soft music and two big-screen TVs (with captions) and a new Service desk. The owners are so friendly and the techs superb as well and very skilled. I have been making appointments since they re-opened they seem to prefer this rather than walk-ins. Notice many senior Jack and Jill couples are clients here and men too. If I could give it no stars I would. The woman "took" my gel off my toes for an additional $5 then another one painted them. There was no cuticle remover, she didn't take any dry skin off, nothing. It was like getting a polish change. It literally looks like my 3 year old sister painted my toes, only it cost me $40. I ultimately paid $40 to have someone barely take my gel off then go over it with new polish. I want my money back. Going for a real pedicure tomorrow. Don't go here, even if you are beyond desperate. If you want to donate your money to these people and get annoyed, then I would suggest! read more

Just went here for the first time yesterday and had a wonderful experience. I got a hot stone pedicure and a manicure. The whole pedicure was great and my feet are nice and soft with a pretty toe polish. The manicure was also quite nice. The polish job wasn't as great but i am going to chalk it up to the cream color (i know they can be tricky to work with and last time i got the same color at a different place the same thing happened). My favorite part about the whole experience aside from the hot stone massage on my legs and feet was the $15 manicure that includes a paraffin wax treatment on the hands and a 5 minute neck massage on top of the hand and arm massage. Got a gel manicure and spa pedicure today. Both came out great! I am super picky about my nails and decided to pop in last minute since my regular place was booked. They applied the gel perfectly with thin coats so I know it will last. Manicure included shoulder massage, Paraffin and hand massage. Pedicure massage was great too!
