What made this experience so…read moredisappointing is that a major limitation was never clearly explained before I signed the contract. Throughout the entire sales process, Ivy (the salesperson) never informed us that we would need to separately hire a licensed plumber to reconnect the faucet, garbage disposal, drain, and water lines after the countertop was installed. We paid $1,300 in labor charges ($400 for demolition/removal of the old tile backsplash and $900 for countertop installation), only to be told by the technicians on installation day that they were not licensed to reconnect these items. We also purchased a new sink and faucet from the company as part of the project. However, the faucet could not even be installed because the hole cut into the countertop was too small for it to fit. This meant we were left with a brand-new faucet that could not be used until the countertop was modified. To make matters worse, the technicians damaged the wall while removing the old tile backsplash and told us they were not responsible for repairing the damage. After the incomplete installation, we contacted the company to express our concerns. Their response was simply that the countertop installation had been completed according to the agreed scope of work and the fee paid, and that plumbing and electrical work were not included. My biggest concern is not that plumbing work was excluded--it is that this was never clearly disclosed before we signed the contract. Had we been told in advance, we could have planned accordingly or chosen another installer. I also question the company's process. If the technicians are not licensed to reconnect the faucet, drain, garbage disposal, and water lines, how were they permitted to disconnect and remove those same components in the first place? If they were unable to complete the job, they should have made that clear before accepting the installation fee. In addition, if the company supplied the new faucet, why was the countertop hole cut too small for the faucet they sold us? I would have preferred to purchase only the countertop and hire my own installer rather than pay for an installation that left my kitchen unusable. I hope future customers carefully review the contract and ask detailed questions about exactly what the installation includes--and, more importantly, what it does not include. Don't assume the installation fee means your kitchen will be fully functional when the work is finished.

Was quoted by a different company $4,500 to replace it and that price was unacceptable as it cost me $8,200 to replace all my other windows including a new sliding patio door recently. So I found this company who was able to replace parts of it and save me a lot of money. A tech was sent out to measure and provide an estimate (sorry cannot remember his name) he quoted for all 6 pieces as I asked but told me I only needed to change 2 if I was going to do any of it. The 2 main pieces had dust and dirt in between the panes so I could never get the window clean. After I decided to move forward I scheduled the install and Marlo showed up and was very professional and polite. He did the job very quickly and when he was removing the 2 old glass panes we discovered that they had completely failed as the outer pieces of glass separated from the inner spacer in effect leaving me with single pane glass. I'm nearing the end of an extensive project to modify an upstairs room into a proper home theater…read more At every stage of this process--from initial brainstorming to projector screen hanging--I've felt VERY fortunate to be relying on the professionalism, expertise, and integrity of Don, Bill & Carolyn at Image, Sound & Control (IMSOCO). Although I had been using the room as a theater for several years, turning it into a proper theater required some serious effort including removing and relocating one wall; rerouting the A/C system; building a riser; remounting doors; installing and wiring computer-controlled lighting; and of course, permanently installing and organizing the previously tangled network of cabling. I was prepared to spend a few bucks on this because having a permanent, dedicated theater was a lifelong dream; but like most of us, I didn't have unlimited funds. Here was the first sign that IMSOCO was a superior choice. At every decision point, Don & Bill have had one eye on "doing it well and right" and another eye on respecting my budget. This extends from shopping for high quality but cost-effective products (chairs, screen, etc.) to integrating my current audio/video gear into the A/V design. And that respect for budget isn't just lip service. On the few occasions that part of the project took a little longer than expected or didn't go quite as efficiently as Don intended, my bill was voluntarily adjusted (without any request from me!) so that the inconvenience didn't come out of my pocket. That's extraordinary integrity at work. Before any actual construction began, Don meticulously discussed EVERY IMAGINABLE detail of the project and prepared CAD drawings to pin down measurements, features, wire runs, and the like. Further, throughout the project, Don (who is officially the most detail-oriented person I've ever met, and therefore, EXACTLY the guy you want supervising a project like this) thought, rethought, and consulted me on every choice and refinement, including proposing solutions I would NEVER have thought of (and I've been doing home theater as an amateur for nearly four decades, myself.) Key to all of those choices is Bill, a professional musician with decades of audio/video experience. Since I'm a musician myself (and an audiophile old-timer), I appreciate that Bill brings to the project an authority and comfort level that can only be realized with a true meeting of the minds. He knows how high-quality A/V should look and sound, and how to get there whether your budget is unlimited or down-to-earth. Every expense was precisely identified and approved in advance, and the billings from Carolyn were detailed and clear. No hidden charges, no surprises, all up front and in the open. Finally, Don, Bill & Carolyn--and their team of pros who have participated on the project (with their own contributions of expertise and creativity)--made this experience a helluva lot of fun. When the project comes to completion, I'll post a photo of the final results. At this point, I wanted to chime in with an endorsement of IMSOCO for anyone who is considering a new audio and/or video system, or adding automation to their home. This building was atrocious from the ground to the ceiling and everywhere in between. As for the electric all previous wiring had to be removed and replaced. In addition to we are a 15 machine gaming establishment and all new electrical had to be ran through the bar for the video poker machines. All new track lighting, fans, exit signs etc and everything done to code and we passed our inspections with no problems. In addition to everything on the inside they handled everything on the outside of the building as well. Ran electrical for our street sign, new ac units, new swamp coolers and refrigeration. In addition to redoing all of the breakers in the blown out box to make sure we don't electrocute ourselves. ‍ they also installed incredibly bright lights to illuminate our parking lot to keep out patrons safe at night.
