Following an entertaining ad card sent to us after our move here, we contacted Bugsy's to get and estimate for all new blinds to replace the worn and outdated curtains. The measurment date was prompt and all questions were answered. Chris and Darren, the two capable installers, arrived promptly, calling in advance. The order for 9 windows and a sliding door was filled properly and the installation was quicker than expected. Darren went over the operation of the new type blinds and ensured all were working well. Honestly, I don't know how things could have gone smoother. I would highly recommend this business. We purchased blinds 3 years ago for a new home using Bugsy's and they did the installation. Everything was fine. Although we never reviewed them at that time, we had no complaints and they would have received a 5 star review from us. However recently one of the strings on a blind came out of the housing. We called Bugsy's and was told to bring the blinds in. We uninstalled them and brought them to Bugsy's only to be told that there is nothing they can do. I called the rep who sold us the blinds. She said that there was no repairing them but we they can order us another blind for $475 which was the original cost of the blind we paid 3 years ago. I failed to see how that would be acceptable to us. She said that she would speak to "The Boss Man" and be back in contact. After never hearing back from anyone, we found Blinds USA (Blind Doctor). They restrung the blinds within one day and the total cost was only $39. It is a shame that Bugsy's does not have the level of professionalism and customer service that you would expect when you have almost $10k in blinds in their property. read more

Bring your business elsewhere. If their follow up service after installation is as good as they are at trying to call you to book an appointment, this company would do much better. They called every day for a week trying to get a hold of me to book an appointment. After install? They don't bother calling once. Delivery was supposed to be 3 weeks. It took 6 weeks. They didn't bother calling with any status updates. We were given a product that wasn't designed according to contract. After saying something about it, we were told it's better for the type of rod that was selected. Otherwise, it would have been difficult to retract. We weren't aware beforehand that the style of pleats would change based on the rod. Plus, it still doesn't retract the way it should. So I believe the information given to us was to cover up someone's mistake in the order process. The installers showed us what was hand written on the order. I showed them the signed contract. The style of pleating did not match from what was on the signed contract and what was hand written on the order submitted to the manufacturer. That is another reason to believe someone screwed up our order. Yet, no one has done anything about it. The drapes had a difficult time opening and closing because we were given the wrong rod. After the rod was switched out for the correct rod, it still had a hard time opening and closing, and making a screeching noise. The guys who did the install had to spray silicone to help it glide. Yet, the screeching still hasn't gone away. Shortly after they left, the rod clip broke off. We still haven't heard back after telling the installers it broke. The other set of drapes has a cord that is loose. They said they would fix it. Still have not heard back. There is one seam that is visible from the front and back side of the drapes. The reason for spending so much on custom drapes is for drapes that look like one panel, not with visible seams. Had we known we were going to get a product like this, we would have gone to a different company that could pull through with quality. We were told they would see if someone could fix it. We haven't heard back. Their follow up system is horrible. It's unfortunate someone spends thousands of dollars with a company to get poor quality and terrible follow up service. We had seven valances made that were estimated to cost around $6,000; but in the end with NO DETAILED invoice it ended up over $9,000. We made repeated request to Cynthia for a detailed invoice as well as follow up on the 3-4 weeks which took 5-6 in the end. And one of the valances was incorrect, so had to be redone. Cynthia was great the first time when we had vertical blinds put on 30 windows for $3,200; but this time she fell way below customer follow up and attention. Once she sold us the valances, she apparently was done. We had to finally work with a front office lady and a scheduler to get information about our delivery and they left her several messages as well, but still NO RESPONSE from Cynthia and NO DETAILED invoice. We live in a retirement community of around 16,000 seniors who are constantly redecorating/remodeling their homes. We would NOT recommend this company as it is no longer as dependable as it was seven years ago. read more

He was very apologetic towards my situation and agreed that how things were handled was completely unacceptable. He actually took the time to hear me out and put himself in my shoes. I'm so sad! I wish I had found this company before I had shutters installed in the front of my home. The company I hired prior to Bugsy's left my home in a mess. The nails are showing in the outside of the home. The brackets don't meet flushed. Bugsy's blinds are the best. The frame came made and they just fit it in the window and screwed to the inside of window. Beautiful and so meet. They came an left for 4 large windows installed less than 30 minutes. Unbelievable. Buyer BEWARE! Buggy blinds does NOT honor their upgrade policy! First off, we bought our window treatments a couple of years ago for $360 each. Conrad (the owner) told us that we could upgrade at anytime. Now, forward to present time, when we went in for an upgrade, we were told that we would have to spend THREE TIMES AS MUCH as our original cost of window treatments in order for them to honor the upgrade!!! This review is long overdue. The first business I dealt with when I was buying a house in Las Vegas was Bugsy's Blinds and it was a great experience. I found Bugsy's on Yelp and Yelp did not disappoint. Aside from the reviews, Bugsy's had way more options than the other companies, could deliver them quicker and at better prices so that's why I decided to go with them. I was buying a house that didn't have a single blind or shutter. I had temporary paper blinds shielding my house from the hot Vegas sun throughout. That was a situation that needed to be rectified immediately so I called up Bugsy's and they matched me up with Rafael. He became in charge of my account. I communicated to him via text messages and we got the whole process going before I had even closed escrow. Rafael was easy to get a hold of and went the extra mile to help me, which I'll admit, I needed a little extra help than normal because I still lived in NYC at the time. Rafael knew that I didn't want to be without window coverings for a long period of time. I like my sleep in the mornings and waking up at 5 am when the sun comes up was not something I was looking forward to. Bugsy's was sensitive to that fact and he assured me that they would take care of me and get me my blinds as quickly as humanly possible. Rafael was great to deal with from start to finish. Bugsy's Blinds got the job done right on time, just as Rafael had promised. He even recommended a great trainer whom I've been working out with ever since. I really appreciated that extra personal touch, as I was new to town and didn't know very many people. I recommend Bugsy's without any hesitation. The blinds/shutters that they made for my house are very high quality and beautiful. For the quality of that I received, I got a great deal! There were some minor modifications that needed to be done to one of my shutters and they did it expeditiously without any additional charges. I was so happy with my experience with their company that I decided to hire them to add solar shades to my bedroom doors. This saves you money on your energy bill as well as makes it blackout dark so you can really get your zzzzz's on. Last I heard, Bugsy's was going to start doing unbreakable glass in addition to all the other services they offer. I will probably be hiring them again to add this security feature to my home in the near future. read more

The first time around when Bugsy's did an installation on my house they were great, on time, good quality. This time....I ordered two additional window coverings in late May to get those two small windows covered for summer. My order was supposed to arrive July 5, no such luck. The order was delayed until July 22nd week, no call no show. Then customer service updated my order to August 16. No call, no show. I can't explain how frustrating and disappointing it is. Nearly a month since my shades were installed and the motors still aren't working. I left a message 5 days ago and no one has called. They left me with a phone app that wouldn't connect and said call if it doesn't connect. Really? What about, "We'll check back in the morning to see if it's working"? Raphael is an expert and has an eye for color and style. He made excellent recommendations. But I texted him to report the problem...and nothing. They came back out and told me it's my firewall but, since then two technicians have told me it isn't. They wanted me to arrange a conference between my computer tech and my employer's IT department when Bugsy's installers and the motor developer could all convene...then my tech guy added Cox to the list!...a "technology summit" with me as the event planner! You'd think they would take the responsibility. Instead they don't even reply to my messages! Wow! What else went bad: a first meeting, I took off work for an appointment at the showroom but, someone took the samples book on a sales call. Then they didn't bring the temporary shades so, I had to miss more work to meet again. Then my shades were delayed an extra two weeks for reasons still unclear. Then the remote also didn't work properly and I specified the problem twice to customer service and at last visit they didn't fix it. So now it's on to small claims court. I'll repeat that I tried calling the exact same day I made the order and was transferred three times by the automated system upon pressing "3" 3 times to get transferred to nothing. Over the years, I've purchased window coverings from many companies in Florida, Pennsylvania and now Las Vegas. I have to say, none of them had the selection or professionalism that I experienced at Bugsy's! We stopped in their showroom and were luck enough to meet Bugsy's himself! We were introduced to Mrs. Bugsy and Rafael, they were a professional class act, almost to good to be true. We made an appointment for a design consultation with Rafael for later that week. The day of our appointment Rafael arrived promptly and had the patients of a saint, my wife and I are a little indecisive. But Rafael worked with us and helped us make various selections of shutters and blinds and my favorite was the motorized Decomatic verticals on our patio doors. About a month after our installation, I was monkeying with the motorized blinds and I did something that made them stop working. Feeling guilty about it being my fault, I stopped by their showroom and was greeted by Conrad "Bugsy" and he was very empathetic and offer to come by that evening on his way home and take a look at them. That evening Conrad came to our home and after about 30 minutes he fixed what I broke! I offer to pay him and he refused to take any money from me. He said that he appreciated my honesty, when I told him that I may have caused the problem. WOW, you don't find customer service like this, unless you're shopping at Bugsy's Blinds. So I'm not a huge review writer but something really bothered me about our experience with Bugsy's Blinds. In January we went into the showroom and were quickly introduced to Gregg. We discussed blinds and made some decisions. The following week we had an appointment for him come measure our windows. In total we had 16 windows so we wanted to discuss the purchases first. A few days later we placed our order. Once the order came in we were contacted to schedule our installation. The day of the installation our tech arrived on time and was very professional. Installation took a few hours but was done perfectly. So you're probably thinking "this sounds great, why the 3 star review"? Well our back door has one long blind with hold down brackets at the bottom. This weekend I wanted to wash my window and when I went to unlatch the bracket it broke. I sent an email along with a photo to see if they could send me a replacement. Gregg responded and let me know that he had forwarded my request to the parts department. The following day I was called and told that the bracket isn't covered under warranty but I could buy it directly from their website. So seriously, you couldn't send me a $2.50 part (the set cost me $5.00 plus $7.50 shipping)? So I'm left feeling like once they have your money their customer service tanks. And this is why I'm giving them 3 stars. UPDATE 7/3: I received my replacement parts that cost $5 and they did not include screws to mount them. They also charged me $7.50 shipping which it clearly only cost them $1.38, so did the small envelope cost them $6.12? I doubt it! read more

Ordered shades for my back door with 2 sidelight doors on 7/8/20. I discussed that I wanted blackout shades and we discussed the type door handle on my door (see picture). I received a call on 8/14/20 about installation of the blinds. I bought "blackout" blinds for the door. I remember discussing different types of shades and was told that cellular would not work with my door because they interfere with the door handle. When the installer took out the blinds to install and I saw them I told the installers not to install. I was told by the installer he needed to call the office. The installer came back in and told me was instructed to install the blinds even though I told him they were not what I wanted. He handed me his phone and I spoke to a woman (did not tell me her name and I will update when I get the information). The woman was extremely rude to me. She told me she didn't care if I did not like the shades and told me because that is what was ordered "They need to be installed." I was told that they would discuss the blinds only after they were installed. She did not tell me how or when or if there would be a remedy. Now I have blinds that do not block out the light and interfere with my door knob. This is more than an inconvenience because I use a wheelchair and use the door many times a day. I am upset by the way I was spoken to by the woman on the phone, the blinds, and the lack of customer service about my displeasure with the blinds." At least the installers wore masks, shoe coverings and were polite. I recommend looking elsewhere for window coverings. Customers should not be treated with hostility. read more

We moved into our 3 story contemporary style 5000 sqft home (former model) in Sep'21. It has a ton of windows but my husband and I love being able to view the outdoors from all sides of the house so we both agreed that only certain windows required window treatments. Pause... we moved to LV in 2018 from San Diego after we retired. Purchased our Southern Highlands 4700 sqft home in 2018. We've moved all over the world being in the military and have dealt with countless contractors. But Conrad at Bugsy's is the perfect salesperson and gentleman by far. He's professional; funny; honest and kind. His company installed blinds, solar window shades and a remote door shade. The installers were great. They were quick and clean up after themselves. Therefore it was only natural for us to contact Conrad again for our current house. Conrad's thorough knowledge of his business was able to decide which styles will work for our beautiful home. We picked a style from his recommendations as we trusted him explicitly. By the way we spoke with Conrad on 7 March and we received a call on 18 March to schedule the installation which occurred today. Alex and Chuck showed up. They were fantastic; professional; quick and clean. The whole thing took a hour. It was truly amazing. The beauty of these installers is that they work directly for Bugsy's so if there's any issues you can simply contact your salesperson. But trust me you will not need to because they all love their job and their customers. This is our 4th time to use Bugsy's from 2019 to 2022 and we will stay with them for all our future home needs. This review is loooooong overdue. Just thought of writing today because i was browsing at my phone and saw the horrible pictues of their products in our home. Me and my husband chose Bugsy's 3 or 4 years ago because they look promising in their advertisements. I called them 3 Times in three different occassions to fix our shutters and charge me $50 every time they come in to fix it. I guess with the 25 years warranty that they offer, you still have to pay for their trip each time they come to your house and fix it. It's such a hassle calling them, making appointments, and paying the $50 each time they come! What a waste of time and money! I shouldn't be doing all of these things and paying them trip fees if they stand to their products. One time, I was just watching tv and all of a sudden, I was frighten from the sound of the slats of our shutters falling! They fall off even without even touching them! Wth! I definitely would not recommend them to anyone! I hope they won't find my real name nor my husband's because like one of the reviewer's said, she received a letter from the CFO telling her to change her review. Product is fine but since you can buy product anywhere that does not impress me. Their customer service is awful from the "corp office" and sales rep (Gregg). I had to call repeatedly for a quote because they were always too busy for my call. Then he comes out and I asked him about a special I saw they were running and he said he knew nothing about it. I ended up paying full price because I needed window covering fast. However it took them over a month to receive my solar shades and THEY never called me to tell me it was ready. I finally got sick of waiting and called them, their customer service did not even apologize for the delay. Note under terms and conditions in fine print it states they will not compensate you for delays; I guess that is their take it or leave it service. After all my waiting I still had to wait an additional week for installation. I will not be using Bugsy's Blinds for my future projects and would not recommend them to family or friends. People do not deserve to be treated poorly when spending their hard earned cash. read more

I contacted this company to bid on my shades, the girl on the phone was a bit difficult but to deal with, but Greg the salesman was great, after he fully explained my options he came out again to finalize the color and collect the deposit. The deposit was 50% down, and the remainder to be paid two days PRIOR to installation, I had him repeat himself to be sure, then he explained that this was normal, yes maybe normal for him, but definitely a show stopper for me, I've had plenty of custom work performed on my house without paying in advance, buyer beware! I called Bugsy's Blinds due to a referral from a family member. I can say that after talking with the salesman, and getting confirmation from management that my project for new window treatments would be done in a prompt manner at a reasonable price, I couldn't be happier. The workers were friendly and answered all of my questions as they were completing the job. After the job was done I called back and asked for management to go over my warranty and what all was covered due to myself having pets and children that unfortunately do get into trouble with home appliances,etc... the staff was again very friendly and answered all my questions in detail so that I would feel comfortable with my purchase. I would highly recommend Bugsy's Blinds to anyone that is searching for quality at a affordable price. After posting a 1 star review on Yelp. Bugsy found my number in their computer and reached out to me. I have had them come out mulitple times to fix broken shutters that fall apart at the plastic grommet that holds them into the frame. Bugsy said the sun deteriorates the plastic grommet and that they commonly break. They came out and replaced the broken ones and my blinds are working again. read more
