We were informed today that the tuxedo was never altered because they "only had one tailor and the other left." Despite this, no one contacted us to inform us of the delay or to offer an alternative solution. This lack of communication and accountability shows poor customer service and a lack of basic professionalism. Additionally, we were later told that the alterations should not have been charged in the first place because it was a costume tuxedo, yet the charge was still applied. Overall, this situation could have been handled very differently with proper communication and attention to detail. Unfortunately, that was not the case.

This was my first time at this Nordstrom Rack location. I had found what I was looking for on the…read morewebsite the previous evening and went into the store to get it. It seems small compared to other Nordstrom Racks I've been to. However they have a decent variety of things, women's coats and jackets, active wear, pants, tops/blouses, intimate apparel. After some perusing, I found what I had came for. The quality of the outfit didn't look as good as it did online. Nonetheless I grabbed it and a couple other blouses and tried everything on in the fitting room. They had an attendant at the fitting room who was helpful and it was easy to get in and out of the dressing room. The checkout process was fairly quick and when asked the cashier let me know what their return policy was. I had until January (it was earlier this week when I purchased my items, so early November), with the receipt, all tags, and the items obviously never worn. I'm not sure if this is their usual return window or a special one for the holidays but its more than enough time to return something if you need to and I did so this was helpful. When I returned my items a couple hours later, after finding something that better fit my needs, the return process was a breeze and they refunded my money back to my original form of payment.

This is my first time ever going to an REI store, and I was pleasantly surprised. We were going to…read morelook at hokas and on clouds, and they have such a huge selection of items in this store. The service was great too because someone came up and helped us find the right size shoes, gave their own opinion on what shoes they preferred/the pros and cons of each, and they even explained their membership program to us. We actually ended up signing up for the program because it's a one-time $30 fee to shop in their member-only section of the store where they sell returned items for less than market price with a bunch of extra benefits. And, you actually get back the $30 you paid for the membership in the form of a store gift card. So, for example we actually got a pair of men's Hokas for $52, and now we have an extra $30 gift card we can go back to use in the store before it expires in the next month. The member-only returned section has a bunch of things from clothes to shoes to hats, etc., so just for that I think it's worth it.
