    Orange chicken
    Martinelli M.

I expected 5 Spices but saw CHOP Asian Chicken instead. Employees don't speak English, which is fine. I'll judge the food. Ordered orange chicken with veggies and rice; chicken was gummy, veggies cold, like a half-microwaved meal. Would not recommend right now.

They make the buns fresh. It takes about 20 minutes and it's worth the wait. I usually don't like buns but I'll be back to try more.

Tonkotsu Ramen was good, not the best ramen but good

    BBQ Pork Big Bun

Great service and delicious food! My fiancé and I got the BBQ pork buns and the Xio Long Bao. Both were full of flavor and affordable. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The music was light and not too loud and everything was clean and well set up. The menu has a good variety of food and drinks. So far, I recommend this restaurant!

What a great addition to Yucaipa. The food and service is great. This is a great place to take out or eat inside with small parties.

Absolute Gem in San Bernardino!…read more From the moment you walk into this clean, quiet, and relaxing spot right across from CSUSB, you feel right at home. The food is on another level. We ordered: * Mongolian Beef: This was easily some of the best I've ever had. The beef was incredibly tender, perfectly seasoned, and sautéed with fresh carrots, bell peppers, and onions in a special sauce that hits all the right notes. * Vermicelli Combination: You can tell everything is made to order and uses high-quality ingredients. Their spring rolls with rice vermicelli and peanut hoisin sauce are fresh, light, and packed with flavor. What truly made the night, though, was the phenomenal owner working behind the counter. She was welcoming and positive and very helpful. The service here is immaculate--the staff is so friendly and welcoming, and the owner clearly takes immense pride in the business. Our food came out super fast, and the portions were very generous for the price. If you're looking for authentic flavors and a unique dining experience in San Bernardino, this is the place to go!.

What is better than a hot steaming bowl of noodles and soup after a long day playing in the snow?…read moreNot much. It was one of those rare occasions that we get real snow in Big Bear. I had just gotten done snowboarding and I was seriously craving some pho or some ramen. I don't want to wait the 90+ min it would take to make it down the mountain so I searched Yelp to see what was available in Big Bear (the city). The first thing that caught my eye was the photos of the Taiwanese beef noodle soup. Now, I grew up eating this famous beef noodle soup so not only did I love the way it tastes, it also has layers of nostalgia for me. When you walk into the cute little restaurant, there isn't much to look at but the giant order screen is up front and enough seating for maybe 4-6 small groups of diners. I opted for a bowl of the beef noodle soup, a side of egg rolls and I also wanted popcorn chicken. My boyfriend wasn't super hungry so he ordered a side of rice and an extra side of noodles to go with the popcorn chicken. Good thing he didn't order anything more than that. The portion sizes were VERY generous. There was no way I was going to be able to eat all the beef in my bowl so I split my beef and some broth with my boyfriend. After both of us got our fill, we ended up taking about half the popcorn chicken home with us and realistically we should have taken the rest of the beef and broth I couldn't finish. I think in the future we will go in knowing that one bowl of beef noodles, plus the extra side of noodles (or two sides) would almost be enough for 3 people to split. I am very happy I found this place. The only thing I wish they had a better selection of is beverages. They only offer some canned Pepsi products and some alcoholic drinks. In summary, -the service, ambiance, and the section of drinks was Meh. -prices were on the higher side -but the portions justify the price. -the egg rolls were boring, -the popcorn chicken was good -the sauce the chicken comes with was delicious -but the noodles are DEFINITELY worth going back for!

The broth is very bland and taste like what you would get if you boil water and throw in some cheap miso paste. The chatsu was very overcooked and dry, and my bowl with "extra spicy", basically just amounted to an extra layer of chili oil. I cant even finish my bowl as its disgusting, it feels like im eating a bowl of oil with water.

The waitress who greeted us explained to us how the two sides of their restaurant works as this was our first time visiting. We opted to eat at the Lemongrass side. We were seated by Jennifer who explained how things worked. Then were had another waitress who took our drink order. I can't remember her name because it was an unusual one, but a nice one. She did help us order an appetizer, we got the pork egg rolls and they were good. Then we had a third waitress take our dinner order, maybe she was the owner. I ordered the CHILI BASIL FILET (S) $26 Filet mignon / Sunny side up egg / Green and red bell pepper / Mushroom / Thai basil / Thai chili / White onion / Sweet soy sauce / Jasmine rice I was excited to try this dish mostly because of the egg on top. But I was disappointed because the egg was not 'over easy' as it was over cooked with brown crispy edges., but the filet was cooked good and it definitely had a bit to it. But because it was my first time eating here, I wanted to ask the waitress how the egg was supposed to be cooked. When I finally caught her attention to ask her how the ape should have been cooked. She seemed a bit preoccupied with another table because she kept looking over my shoulder. But when I asked her, she said 'yes, it was supposed to be cooked over easy ' I said well it wasn't and all she could say was 'oh I'm sorry about that. I'm sorry about that'. She could have said something to the effect ' it was supposed to be cooked over easy, I'm sorry that it wasn't, let me tell the cook and maybe we can get you a new cooked egg that's actually over easy' but instead, there was no offer to fix the problem just an apology saying I'm sorry about that. My feeling is if you go to a nice restaurant and you pay for a dish that is as expensive as that was then, it should be cooked according to the description on the menu no apologies needed. Not sure we'll be going back. I'm sorry I didn't take a picture of my disappointing meal.

It wasn't particularly busy when my wife, her mom, and I came for a visit on a Monday. But it was nice to eat rice and noodles, without having to have leftovers. Like most food court restaurants, everything is geared towards having individual portions cost $15 or so. But since a three choice combo plate only cost an extra dollar than the two choice ($15.99 vs $14.99) and we were a family not mind sharing, we got the former, with each of us choosing an entree. The shrimp entree cost $1.50 extra and was worth it, with large jumbo shrimp provided in a tasty brown sauce. The orange chicken was what you would expect, with decent pieces of white meat, but a coating that gets soggy sitting around in the steam table. The chicken and broccoli had small pieces of chicken, but provided a good amount of wok-fired broccoli which I enjoyed. It comes with a choice of non-descript lo mein noodles, rice, or both. Seating is shared across the other restaurants: not a huge amount of seating, but easy to find open ones since it wasn't too busy. Very much reminds me of how dining out while shopping at a mall used to be.

Read below for specifics. Me and my family came to Soboba for my birthday. Arrival at the counter--wait took a long time because the restaurant was busy. Totally understandable. (Especially considering that this restaurant is within the casino.) Table is clean and presentation is nice. I love that the staff greet you from the outside, very good score on customer service. The dining atmosphere was honestly amazing. Decoration is very fancy in a modern vibe and captures a comforting Asian restaurant very well. My issue with the restaurant is their food. I have tried all kinds of Pad Thai. But never once...did I expect a restaurant to make the most bland Pad Thai I have ever tasted. I didn't even think it was possible. The pad thai tasted more soft than chewy, it tasted as if I was eating soba noodles because there is no umami flavor, let alone the sweet and savory taste to the noodles. Not even the chili paste can add even a hint of flavor. The tofu is too soft for my tastes, and lacking in flavor. Same thoughts about the bulgogi, which was also lacking flavor. For quite a large price, I feel very disappointed. However, there was one thing I did enjoy, was the calamari and sauce. Calamari was the perfect mix of chewy and crispy. I savored every bite of that texture. Sauce was tangy and sweet, the kind of flavor I expected in the Pad Thai. I can confirm that the calamari, the atmosphere, and the customer service are recieving the stars. Thank you Noodle Bar for the experiance.
