Considering the order as in one of the smallest bags they have, her question came across as suspicious and very unprofessional. Unfortunately, this was not the only incident. The last time I was in this location I heard the manager being rude and disrespectful to another customer. Everyone makes mistakes, but good customer service is measured by how those mistakes are handled. This location failed on both the food quality and customer service. Based on my experiences, I would not recommend this Jack in the Box, and I hope the owners address the management issues before more customers have the same experience.

The fee itself isn't much, but that isn't the point -- it's the principle. If you're going to charge a fee for anything, it should be clearly disclosed. I'm posting our receipt below. You can see our order came to $35.77 and we paid $3.13 in tax, which should total $38.90. However, the total charged to our card was $40.07. Just something to be aware of if you plan to pay with a card -- it looks like there may be about a 3% "non-cash" surcharge added to the total.
