I am so pleased with 5 Star Fingerprinting! The place is easy to miss because the building looks like part of an apartment complex. But I'm so glad I made it here to get my live scan for my upcoming volunteer at an elementary school. It's a very small but super efficient office. Debbie greeted me warmly as I entered the door. There was one person before me who was just starting on her fingerprinting service. She was in and out of there in no time so my wait was not long at all. There is a little waiting area with comfortable chairs. They do the fingerprinting in the same room right by the front desk. Now here's a not-so-fun fact about me. I suffer from SEVERE hyperhidrosis, so my palms sweats excessively for absolutely no reason about 80% of the time. It is not an easy job to fingerprint me. I have been to other fingerprinting places in the past where they have struggled to do so. Debbie was super sweet and understanding about my condition. She assured me that there are others just like me and that we will work through it just fine. She set out a mini fan to help me dry my fingers off whenever it was necessary. I felt very comfortable here. Aside from being friendly, Debbie is also very attentive. She looked over my form and asked me which school district I will be volunteering at. Then she informed me that the school I just named is in another district and that I may want to make sure I've received the correct form for the live scan or else I would be spending my money for nothing. She offered different solutions based on what is most convenient for me seeing that I'm not from the Roseville area. I felt like most people would have completely missed that detail and let me go through with it or wouldn't care enough to point that out (especially with the phone constantly ringing and people walking in needing assistance). I'm so grateful! $47 for the LIVE SCAN service, and they accept just about any form of payment. It's such a great deal. Despite my wet palms giving us some difficulty, I was still in and out of there within 20 minutes (I was a walk-in, no appointments necessary!). HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!! read more

I just called and told them I wanted to come in today, and I have my live scan form, but I don't have a printer. The lady on the phone cut me off and said no, they would need it before that and laughed right in my face. I calmly and professionally restated me dilemma just in case she had misunderstood. She again said no they can't do that with a laugh... How do they get customers with that attitude. Anyway I called another company and asked the same exact question, the guy said not a problem and they're more than happy to print it out for me. So skip a trip to 5 star fingerprinting, they laugh at your honest questions and can't even print out one piece of paper. read more

I have had to get a live scans before and normally there is a line and no one wants to be there. NOT AT FIVE START!! I was in and out. The whole process was nice. Took about 10 or less and the employee was very knowledgeable with what I needed to do and helped me with some questions. I will be back when I need to have any future live scans. read more

It lives up to the name! 5 stars! I was sent here specifically by a new job for fingerprints. Made an appointment with Debbie and called to reschedule to an earlier time... no problem! Debbie was accommodating and met me at the earlier time on the dot. This was the FASTEST fingerprint roll I've ever done! Once the prints started, it took her like 2 min. No repeats on fingers, no rough handling of my digits... perfect the first time, every time. :) (I've been to other places that had to repeat almost every finger and took forever!) Debbie was friendly and answered the questions I had. The office is clean and professional. I did have some trouble finding the place. I even called Debbie to guide me after getting lost. It looks like an apartment building more than an office building... it's on the corner of Five Star and S. Whitney across from KFC. Overall, easy-peasy, great experience. It was okay the lady on the phone wasnt to friendly. When we showed she wasnt even there she was over 10 min late for our spot. I was expecting someone grumpy but she kept apologizing and was really friendly and helpful when we told her it was our first time doing finger scan. Over all I think I would come back. read more

Though the location was a bit confusing to get to. I called and Debbie and she helped me find my way. She is so friendly and I was out of there within less than 5 minutes! She didn't even have to redue any of my prints, they were all right on target! She knows exactly what she is doing and does it quick and efficient. I got both DOJ and FBI here for $64 total. Even if it is cheaper somewhere else, I would come back here because she's such a nice woman. I will return when I need my next fingerprinting! read more
