I sent it for less than $50 the next day at the Rocklin Post Office. I asked her multiple times if it was really $380 as it was absolutely shocking and she reacted as if I was stupid for being shocked at that price. I will never use that location again. read more

I love this UPS Store. Plenty of parking and the employees are always super friendly, especially the owner/manager. He never seems to have an off day. Even when they are clearly super busy, he never seems ruffled, but always greets and thanks the customers. Very convenient to drop off UPS packages (those Amazon returns!), get notary signatures and also drop off USPS packages when you don't feel like driving to the post office! I had sold a smart watch to a buyer overseas and elected to use UPS to ship it. I come in, explain to the worker what the item is and explain that it has to be marked as Hazmat and must be shipped accordingly ( my career is Logistics so I understand how this is supposed to work ). The worker" understands", places a hazmat sticker on the box and charges me for the service on January 4th. I forget about it and assume the package is moving right along until January 21st the package is delivered right back to my door step with " Air carrier rejected mail" sticker on the box causing a return to sender. For those who don't know, you cannot ship certain hazmats via plane unless it's strictly a cargo plane / non passenger, this is very basic information for someone in the field. Naturally upset I come back to UPS to figure out what happened and am greeted with " well I'm sorry but it wasn't me personally who shipped this" from the first worker, " try talking to usps ( they subcontracted this out to them apparently) because when you buy oreos at Raley's, and there is a problem with the oreos you don't get mad at Raley's right" is the exact response I got from some second worker, to " I promise to investigate and get this done " from the store owner who happened to be there. I leave my package with them with the promise they will do their best to get this sorted out and shipped correctly - later that same night I get a call from the store owner explaining they just can't do it and would be refunding me. From them using the wrong service to ship it at the very beginning ( via air ) to me having to explain to the owner and her employee what exactly the issue is and why it's their fault for setting it up incorrectly because they legit did not understand at first, this entire experience was an absolute Joke. I had to refund my buyer because of the 3 weeks down the drain for no reason. Ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous. read more

I needed to return my Spectrum cable equipment but didn't want to have to drive to Turlock to return it (for my mom). I was told that they partnered with the UPS Stire, and I could take everything to them and they would pack it up, and send it back for me. I was a little skeptical, to say the least. I got there, and it was busy. I was fully expecting to get a bad time to try to do this. However, I was helped by a lady by the name of Bianca who was extremely helpful and friendly. She did all of the registering the items in the system, and then printed up everything I needed to prove it was shipped. I was VERY impressed with how easy this process was, and how sweet Bianca was to me, even though there was a long line. Awesome employee... awesome service. read more

On two different occassions I went to this place to mail something via the United States Postal Service. Both times I was reluctantly persuaded to forego the USPS and instead send the package by United Parcel Service. I was dubious about the store's honesty. My subsequent research showed that I would have been charged less is if I mailed the packages through the USPS. Sure, that isn't always the case as there are many factors involved in determining shipping charges. But in these two cases I was talked into the more expensive alternative. We know this UPS store makes a commission when they ship via UPS. Is that also true when they mail something through the US post office? I don't think so. Perhaps I was ripped off simply because the clerk(s) didn't know what they were doing and only following directions to send all packages by UPS. Any frequent customer of this UPS store will have noticed that the staff of zity and tentative youngsters has a high turnover rate. How well are they trained? There is a UPS store on Stanford Ranch Road by SaveMart and Starbucks. I have had no upcharging experiences at that location. read more

I was very impressed with this location. I needed something notarized and when I got there, there was what looked like a really long line. This is the most efficient UPS store I've ever been to -- they got through the line quickly, they were courteous and didn't seem like they were rushing anyone. I have used this location to drop packages off in the past. It's usually pretty busy but, unlike other UPS Stores I have visited in the past, the staff is efficient and friendly. This is located in a strip mall location with Bel Air. There is plenty of parking. I visit this mailing store infrequent. There are signs to measure social distancing as soon as you get in. My trips here are fairly consistent. Staff is friendly, helpful, and efficient. I have not taken longer than ten minutes to complete my transactions. Good fast friend and efficient service. Location is convenient. Bad nothing to date. Overall good across the board. I will likely visit and patronize again. read more

Very bad experience. Came if for a notary service and needed a witness to sign the document. The employees were arguing about charging extra money for witness signatures. One employee (maybe the owner?) refused to sign unless I paid $5 per signature and she and notary were arguing in front of us. Then they both blamed each other to me. I had already paid $120 in notary services. My parents were with me and they're older and were very anxious so I told her I would pay the extra $ because I could tell it was upsetting them. The lady apologized and blamed the notary for the situation and he told me he's quitting and blamed her. As a customer the whole thing was very unpleasant and in the end all this was so the store could add another $10 onto my already expensive notary bill. I will not return to this location it was a very unfortunate experience and was very unprofessional on everyone's part. Note also that there were at least 6 other customers that were awkwardly watching this unfold. read more

I came here the other day to do a return. This is very conveniently located in the same shopping center as Walmart and other stores. I was very surprised that it was not super busy when I came in. I did not have to wait long. I figured I might have to wait long given the fact that it's Christmas time and a lot of people are sending off packages, this is a very clean establishment very clean atmosphere. The gentleman who helped me with my order was very friendly, very knowledgeable and also gave me a receipt for my return, which is always a good idea. That way they can't say they didn't get it back I always recommend getting a receipt when mailing stuff off returning an item. That way you have proof that you did send it off and it will be no issues or complications, this establishment is very large very clean establishment very clean atmosphere very friendly staff very nice establishment. Definitely a lot faster than going to the post office this time with year because we all know the post office. This time of the year can be a nightmare and a very long wait I was happy with how fast and efficient I was in and out of here I highly recommend this establishment for anybody looking to mail out any items, fax any items, etc. they are great I will definitely be coming back here again very soon for more future visits and more great experiences to come. I needed a notary, and if you go online, you can schedule an appointment with a notary and come to find out that's worthless because there is no notary there that's all just a scam, even though you can set up an appointment with a notary online at this facility, there's no notary there to fulfill the appointment don't do it avoid this place like the plague read more

BOBBY! I came to this location to pick up a print job for an event my employer was having. I first was greeted by an associate in training (not Bobby) who was helping me along and asked questions to the other individual (Bobby) I remember that we all started somewhere so this was no big deal. Bobby was attentive to the associates questions and helped train while also helping me get out of the door. Bobby went as far as packaging each of my print jobs separately so I would know what was what. By then a small line has started to gather yer somehow Bobby remained calm and attentive then seamlessly went on to help other customers. Come to find out Bobby owns this location. My package was scheduled to be delivered on July 11th. The package arrived on July 11th at the Rocklin location, and disappeared. I was advised by an online UPS agent to submit a missing package claim form. It was a gift card so it can probably easily be taken. Looks like someone has sticky fingers at this location. I am sharing this review to prevent other innocent people from getting completely taken advantage of like I was today at the UPS store in Rocklin on Sunset. I sold a very rare and vintage Ralph Lauren lamp on eBay for $500. The buyer paid $204 for shipping. I took the lamp to UPS and bought a large box and I paid for them to pack it securely and for them to ship it. I was notified by the buyer that the lamp arrived completely destroyed!! The box was crushed due to negligent handling from UPS carriers and insufficient protection of the lamp. I was disgusted to learn all they put in the box was air bags, nothing else!! No padding, foam sheets or packing peanuts to prevent it from being tossed about. I went back into the store today and spoke with Ross (store manager) and his son Bobby (Asst. store manager). I brought with me the photos of the damaged lamp and the box with the air bags in it. After I explained what happened they were both completely rude and said they weren't required to use anything else for padding as long as there was 2" of air bags. I explained that was ridiculous and had I had the opportunity to watch them pack it I would have complained there wasn't enough protection. Bobby's crude response was "well, you didn't ask to watch us wrap it!" My answer was, " I wasn't aware that was even an option" as they took my lamp into the back packing room and I couldn't see it anymore. He said it was my fault because I didn't ask to watch them wrap it. The clerk who initially did the intake was there too and he denied any wrong doing. I will NEVER, EVER step foot in that store again!! This is the second time I've had merchandise destroyed due to trusting UPS to package and ship in an appropriate and safe manner. Given the amount of money paid to them, I feel it is completely reasonable to expect that when I pay exorbitant fees to ship ($207) that my item should arrive in the same condition as I brought it into the store. On top of everything, customer service was absolutely non existent and Bobby just looked at me with a smirk I've never seen in my life! My advice and warning to everyone is to PLEASE DON'T TRUST UPS to package or ship your valuable and rare items!! All they are required to do is throw some air bags in the box and then tell you they've done the minimum requirement to ship. SHAME on you for not taking any responsibility for what was COMPLETELY your failure. I wish I could give them a zero rating!! If I could, I would. BEWARE!! read more

This is like literally the hardest UPS store to find! It's in the Bel Air shopping center on the little strip mall in between the Small Cakes Cupcakes and Yogurt place and the Nail place. Maybe they need to make their sign bigger? It doesn't even say there's a UPS on the center sign :/ Anyhow, when we finally called and asked where it was exactly the dude was super nice and explained- embarrassing because we drove around for a good five to ten minutes looking for it.
