I went into this UPS Store location simply to mail an envelope and was surprised when the employee immediately began collecting my personal information and asked for my driver's license. When I questioned why that was necessary just to mail a letter, I was told they needed to add me into their system to "make things easier next time." Another employee chimed in and said this was "standard." I made it clear that I did not want my personal information stored in their system just to send a piece of mail. The entire interaction felt unnecessary and intrusive, so I trusted my gut and left. I then went to the local USPS office up the street, mailed the same letter without having to hand over my driver's license or personal data, and it cost significantly less. Based on my experience, I would avoid this location unless absolutely necessary. read more

I went to this location earlier today to ship a package. I was sent the box to ship the package in by the recipient and was given a mailing label for it. When I went to the UPS counter, the guy told me that it was going to Amazon and I had to either put it in an Amazon box or use the plastic bag from them that was an additional $7.99! My package WAS NOT going to Amazon and the destination was written on the label that I showed him. I left and went to another nearby UPS store and they scanned it in no problem. read more

I've given this location a few chances and every time the women behind the counter are unbelievably rude. They make me feel so uncomfortable and like I'm inconveniencing them for being in the store. I rarely leave reviews, but the experience I just had at the Rocklin UPS Store deserves to be called out. I brought several unboxed gifts to this location to ship to two different people, one in Benicia and one in Fremont. The store packed everything themselves using the boxes and packing materials I purchased there and even charged me packing service fees. The total was $66.35 including $38 for shipping and about $28 for boxes, packing materials, and the packing service. Despite all that, they mixed up the items and sent the wrong gifts to the wrong recipients. Some of the Benicia items ended up in the Fremont box and vice versa. When I called to ask for a refund, they blamed me and claimed the items "came prepackaged." That makes no sense because I stood right there and watched them take everything from me unboxed. The receipt clearly shows I bought the boxes, the packing materials, and paid them for packing service. They even charged me for packing service twice. So clearly they packed it. And clearly they packed it wrong. When I asked for the owner's information, they refused to provide it. When I asked for the owner to call me, I was told they wouldn't. The attitude was basically: "Sorry, you're not getting a refund," even though the mistake was entirely theirs. This was honestly horrible service from start to finish. Between the mistake, the blaming, the refusal to take responsibility, and the refusal to connect me with the owner, this place has lost my business completely. I'll be attaching my receipt so people can see exactly what I was charged for. read more

I arrived with one other lady in store getting fingerprinted. Only one employee who was having trouble with her fingerprints. Line was out the door soon phone ringing. I have been waiting for over 45 minutes while he troubleshoots a machine. Still waiting. Do better get more employees don't make your staff suffer like this it's not fair to them or your customers. read more

I've used this UPS store branch since it opened. Most recently for notary services, fast shipping, and the new scan, bag, and drop your own returns. I love that feature! These folks really nail it. Update: just went to the UPS a little farther down on Sierra College in Roseville, and they could not have been nicer. They helped me at the main counter and were extremely friendly. I'm glad that I have another option when it comes to UPS stores. No need to ever step foot in the Rocklin UPS again. Original Review: My first time to this location. I had neatly packaged Amazon returns ready to be scanned into the system. I got into the regular line as I have at every other UPS I've ever been to. After waiting in line for 15 minutes, KORRIE, the notary as it said on her badge, refused to make any of my returns. She told me to get into the other line to use the self-serve kiosk, which had now had about 10 people added to it since I had originally walked in the door. Nowhere were there any signs directing anyone that they must use the self-serve kiosk for Amazon returns. She was horribly rude, told me I should know better, and completely ignored me when I asked to just have my 3 returns processed. I had the barcodes ready to go. In the amount of time she spent being absolutely nasty to me, she could have just processed the 3 returns, and then politely explained to me that at this particular UPS location they only process Amazon returns at the self-serve kiosk. I will not be back to this location. Way to welcome a new resident to the area, KORRIE. Management needs to be aware of this horribly rude employee. It was so bad that other customers were giving me advice on getting her name, calling the manager, etc. read more

Maria needs to learn ups shipping. Was denied for 2, 5 pound boxes exact same dimensions tapped together with a label on both side in case split. It's a thing.. teach your employees how things work. Now I have to waste my time going to another ups store because Maria is incompetent on ups packages at the ups store. Read bundled and strapped packages out loud to yourselves that's straight off the ups website. read more

I got a live scan here on 11/20/25. It is now 1/12/26 and I still haven't received my results. I called them about it and they promised to give me a call back but never did. I called about it again and they told me again that they would call me back. I'm unable to start my new job until I have these results and I paid $82 so the service should have been good. With how annoying this has been it should be free to get a live scan at this place. I never leave reviews but I am beyond frustrated with this place. Would not recommend. read more

I visit this store probably once a week. I tend to do a lot of Amazon returns here. The staff is always more than helpful. With this being a local location for Amazon returns they get pretty busy and I can imagine around this time of year... The holidays... The traffic increases and peoples expectations of quick service Increases as well. The staff takes that challenge on with a smile no matter what. I appreciate the fact they always greet you, and make sure that you are able to access their self-help area with ease. When they added the self-help center it made returning things Much easier. Anytime I have a need to mail anything this is my go to spot. The staff make the difference. This store has the worst service. Each time I go the service has gotten worse and I've been going for years. It is unfortunate that this is the closest location to me as I will no longer be going there. What a waste of gas. I had a label that they said needed to be printed. In the past, they would scan and print a sticky for me so I didn't have to tape it to the box. This time, I had a single label but two boxes and they said I would need to tape the boxes together and they wouldn't do it for me (before I even asked). By the time I tape the boxes together, print the label and tape that to the package, what do I need them for? I can hand it to my local UPS driver at that point. read more

They get the job done so 2 stars. However, the few times I go there, I often seem to get blocked by a UPS truck picking up packages. I guess this time I was lucky and they didn't block me in. But now they squeezed themselves into the loading zone of the handicap parking and I had to move the truck for my passenger to get in. I packed boots that were in a shoebox into another box that was from a lamp. I taped the box well but the UPS cashier said that she can't accept the box as it may open during shipment. I can understand the policy (even if the box was sturdy and taped with shipping tape along the seams). She said the cheapest box that she has is $28 which doesn't include the shipping cost. Enough said, I went to Walmart and paid $1 for a box and re-packaged. read more

Walking into this store yes clean and organized but the customer service was terrible along with their prices for printing. I went in to print ONE piece of paper (already emailed the draft before arriving) the young lady working was very abrupt and quite frankly pretty rude. She was not in proper uniform as she was wearing crocs for shoes?? What if a box fell on her toes? Smells like a law suit. She printed the paper on 8.5x14 (which was not needed i just needed it on regular 8.5x11) and had me collect the paper that was on the other side of the store also, which had personal information on it what if another customer grabbed it? My total for email and print was over $3.00 i did use my AAA discount and even then she didn't want to give me the discount. Extremely outrageous. Bottom line I'll never come back and i really hope they work on their customer service and "convenience". read more

I have been at this location a few times and have had a good experience. This time I had an unfortunate experience with an employee that I had never seen before. She was extremely rude and condescending. She told me I was using the wrong boxes. I have used the same shipping boxes forever and never have had an issue with it. (They are uline boxes so they are specific shipping boxes). My issue is not with needing different boxes, but her attitude. I would not have minded the interaction if she had not been so rude. Honestly not sure if she was just having a bad day but it puts a bad image on the whole store. read more

I didn't want my box taken apart! your employee Maria, took the box from me before we even finished the discussion, she didn't even carry it correctly, regardless of the arrows pointing up! then the employee who rang me up, took $500 from me including extra fees for "packing" of $100, and insurance coverage told me he'd "take care of it". yeah, but putting a plain old cardboard box around it? this is so messed up! You deny responsibility when it's your fault for taking my money, and not creating a proper crate/with padding around my existing box!
