He told me the only way to fix it was to turn the rotor while it was still on the car but there lathe was broken. He eventually admitted that he did not want to warranty the warped rotor that he just put on my car and wanted me to just drive it until their lathe was fixed - in about 2 weeks. I was greeted at the front by the service advisor, Joshua. He was friendly, fast and extremely knowledgeable. He helped me pick great tires for my vehicle and allowed me to wait in house for my vehicle to be serviced. The waiting room is SO clean and everyone is very friendly. I spoke with the owner, Zak, who was extremely nice and followed up to ensure my experience was going well. I had some complimentary snacks and waiting for my vehicle while watching some Netflix shows, which definitely made my wait extra enjoyable! I even got to speak with the technician who worked on my vehicle, Ian who was also very pleasant to work with! Ian worked along side Joshua to thoroughly explain everything that was done to the car! I came back about 10 days after because I unfortunately got a nail in one of my brand new tires (Massachusetts roads) Joshua booked me right in for another appointment. This time the technician, Ryan, was the one to patch my tire. He was also extremely nice and worked quickly and efficiently! I was out the door as fast as I came in! My review to Zaks auto:…read more I brought my vehicle to this shop for an oil change, brake fluid flush, and other maintenance before a Porsche Club of America (PCA) track event. They also performed their complimentary PCA tech inspection, which is advertised as a thorough inspection. I specifically asked that all vehicle fluids be inspected before the event. During the track day, my car suffered a power steering failure that left me stranded. I had to call my regular mechanic to the track to repair the car so I could get it home, resulting in a significant repair bill and a lost track day. They offered no support or reparations. When I first contacted the shop, their response was simply, "You brought the vehicle to a track. We aren't liable." It was only after multiple phone calls that they acknowledged the power steering fluid had appeared discolored while the car was in their shop all day, but they never communicated that to me. I understand that track cars can fail. My issue isn't the failure--it's the lack of communication. I specifically asked for the fluids to be inspected, and the shop later admitted they noticed discolored power steering fluid but chose not to mention it. Had they done so, I would have serviced the system before the event. I've included photos of the power steering fluid taken after the failure and during the repair. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop if you're relying on them to prepare your car for a track event.

At that point he told well you can fix it yourself and hung up on me. My take away and advice...if you know what you're talking about don't use this mobile mechanic.
