They didn't even pull it into the garage and charged me $74 to tell me I needed a new Starter Motor. Which was already known. So here's the full story-- Called early morning Wednesday (7:09am), The mechanic that answered looked at the schedule and said he could take a look and to bring it in. It was towed and dropped off at 7:50am. They couldn't get to it (I'm a single mom so had to rent a car to pick up my son from school) They called me the following day Thursday at 12:40pm, telling me they didn't pull it into the garage or run a full diagnostic as I requested, but instead they tried starting it up and that the Starter Motor needs to be replaced. (We figured that much) -- Noticing I will need an oil change soon they added that in, for a total of $880.00 for the repair. I asked for the price without the oil change and she said $728. NEARLY $160 for an oil change is absurd. When I asked about the diagnostic and why I was being charged for a diagnostic when they didnt even give me any information we didnt already know, and they didnt run a full diagnostic, I was faced with an attitude and told "we could have charged you $140 for an hour of diagnostics, but we only charged you for a half-hour". I'm sorry does pushing the start button on a vehicle take 30 minutes? As someone that lives a block away and this is the most convenient place, I STILL wouldn't go back. Even the guys at O'Reilys said they were total rip offs.

It took them a couple days to diagnosis the problem I was hoping that would bring the price down a bit but it didn't no worries I'm not mad at all. What really got to me was I asked for a tune up on my vehicle and they were going to charge me about $3000. I couldn't even fathom that price it was absolutely utterly ridiculous. Told them the tire I was looking for, they gave me a great price and said they would get them from their warehouse. They called me 2 hours later and said the tires were there! 2 hours later! Mavis Tire took a week and got the wrong tires in. We made an appointment for the next day. We checked the tires when we got there and were exactly what we asked for. Dropped the car off and went to have breakfast and do an errand. When we came back car was ready to go. Exactly the tires we asked for, and for the exact price quoted. Appointment the next day. You can't ask for more than that!!! All the other big box tires stores can't come close to the service you get from this place. And they don't nickel and dime you for extras after they give you a price. We will be back next time we need tires for sure!

Also had my 2nd vehicle inspected from him. Quick and easy, was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Very informative and has good communication with his customers. Listened in on him telling another customer why he failed an inspection in detail and even gave him information if he wanted to buy the part somewhere else. Would definitely go to again for any auto repair needs.

I was greeted at the front by the service advisor, Joshua. He was friendly, fast and extremely knowledgeable. He helped me pick great tires for my vehicle and allowed me to wait in house for my vehicle to be serviced. The waiting room is SO clean and everyone is very friendly. I spoke with the owner, Zak, who was extremely nice and followed up to ensure my experience was going well. I had some complimentary snacks and waiting for my vehicle while watching some Netflix shows, which definitely made my wait extra enjoyable! I even got to speak with the technician who worked on my vehicle, Ian who was also very pleasant to work with! Ian worked along side Joshua to thoroughly explain everything that was done to the car! I came back about 10 days after because I unfortunately got a nail in one of my brand new tires (Massachusetts roads) Joshua booked me right in for another appointment. This time the technician, Ryan, was the one to patch my tire. He was also extremely nice and worked quickly and efficiently! I was out the door as fast as I came in! They also performed their complimentary PCA tech inspection, which is advertised as a thorough inspection. I specifically asked that all vehicle fluids be inspected before the event. During the track day, my car suffered a power steering failure that left me stranded. I had to call my regular mechanic to the track to repair the car so I could get it home, resulting in a significant repair bill and a lost track day. They offered no support or reparations. When I first contacted the shop, their response was simply, "You brought the vehicle to a track. We aren't liable." It was only after multiple phone calls that they acknowledged the power steering fluid had appeared discolored while the car was in their shop all day, but they never communicated that to me. I understand that track cars can fail. My issue isn't the failure--it's the lack of communication. I specifically asked for the fluids to be inspected, and the shop later admitted they noticed discolored power steering fluid but chose not to mention it. Had they done so, I would have serviced the system before the event. I've included photos of the power steering fluid taken after the failure and during the repair. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop if you're relying on them to prepare your car for a track event.
