They definitely shouldn't call themselves "5 Stars". Not even close. Two women came to my home to clean 2 bathrooms, a living room, dining room, and kitchen. They allowed themselves 3 hours. I told them my two main priorities were the 2 bathrooms. But instead they started with the other 3 and saved the bathrooms for last. In the living room my couch was covered in cat hair, they didn't even touch it, or sweep under the couch where all the fur and dust was. And of course, leaving my bathrooms for last, they ran out of time and left them looking as bad as they were before. They didn't even touch the shower walls. On top of that, they used ALL my swiffer wet jet liquid and pads and didn't even ask me, or tell me after the fact. They just rushed out to get to another job. Here's the kicker! I emailed them to complain and no one got back to me. And I know they got it because their online system sends you a confirmation email to say they received it! They clean like teenagers doing chores and just going through the motions. EDIT: RESPONSE TO COMMENT BELOW: 1) how can you say you've never cleaned my house when you don't even know my name? 2) I didn't say I emailed. what I thought was an amazing find turned out to be a nightmare. Eileen contacted me and was extremely communicative and I was thrilled to have a small business come and do some move out cleaning. I was quoted $189 to clean a 540 sq ft home. When she arrived she said it needed a lot more work so we agreed to a price of $249. Well after the cleaning was completed I went to check out the place and it was still a mess. What an embarrassment to my sellers and Eileen's business. I told her she should have told me ahead of time if she couldn't complete or do the job, or if she needed more money to let me know. I contacted her to politely ask her to redo the place and I got ignored. I trusted this business and was hopeful to refer her out to other agents and continue to use her services in the area. Now owner completely ignores any communication as I gave her a chance to fix the issue. See photos of the completed "cleaning", there was a lot more that was not completed as well. I will be reporting them to the BBB and local department of consumer affairs. read more

I was pretty disappointed with the job done after the cleaners left. Two ladies that came, one of them did a pretty good job but another lady did a very poor job! She didn't even move my baby's bed to vacuum under it and she didn't dust our second bedroom ( like the nightstands and the stand and the tv itself!) I had to basically finish the job after they left,, the second cleaner even forgot to flush a toilet in the second bathroom after she poorly cleaned it! I paid to have my 2 bed 2 bath apartment cleaned... i was not happy to say the least. My apartment wasn't not dusted. They spot mopped... they skipped a whole bedroom. They left their dirty toilet brush in my cabinet. I wasted my money completely! I notified the lady about being unhappy and told her I wanted my money back to hire someone else. All she said was she would come back to clean. I didn't want them back in my home. Mary was nice enuf to squeeze in a last minute request for a bathroom cleaning. Not sure what's going on. They seemed friendly and professional on the phone, but didn't show up for the first cleaning appointment, and there was no answer when I called and texted. I have received a comment from the business saying that they have no record of my name and that there might be a confusion. Normally, I would just let it go, but in this case the place was a rental and I really needed it cleaned before the new tenant moved in. The phone number on the company's contact info matches the number that texted me after we spoke on the phone. The text was sent on December 29th, 2018 at 9:31 AM. It says, "Good morning This is 5stars housekeeping. Please send me your address." I replied with my address. I also said that I wouldn't be there, but would text them where to find the key. They were supposed to arrive on Tuesday, January 22nd. I called at 11:55 AM to see if they were coming, and received a text back that said, "Can I call you later?" I texted "Sure. I just want to make sure that everything is Ok with the cleaning and that the housekeepers were able to access the home." I received no answer. I tried to call again later that day, and received no answer. read more

Let me start off by saying that I've had companies clean my house before and people look at me weird when I asked them to clean an area I felt they missed. It isn't always gonna be perfect but get it right.. First time for me using this company Mari and another two employees showed up to my home this morning and were there just under 3 hours. They were friendly, accommodating, and did a great job on the house. There were things they cleaned that I didn't even think to tell them about. Additionally..I literally was in shock after looking at my bathrooms and how cleaned they looked. I hadn't seen the toilets as white as they are in a while! I really wanted to give them a great review. Mary was so SO nice and Frank, I think, was so accommodating when I texted about the issues after the first clean. But here is my review... I booked two DEEP cleans - one for a move in and one for a move out. The move out clean was STELLAR. The place was truly spotless and shining. I have no complaints about that one at all and I wish they had done the same job on the house I moved into. That job was riddled with issues. I had to call them to come back out after the initial clean because a lot of details were not done. After that, during my first week in the house I found many other things that should have been done. The refrigerator was not properly cleaned inside or out - there was debris in the freezer and the water/ice dispenser was not cleaned at all. In the guest bathroom, there were still empty packages of baby wipes which told me those drawers were not even opened. Just a lot of little things that should have been done in a deep clean were not. So, that's why only 3 stars. I think maybe it was the crew that came out to that place vs the other place. Just had 5s come and deep clean my house! A team of 4 ladies came at 8am sharp and was here until 12:30. They went to town on my house. Walls, baseboards, shutters, fans, vents, etc. my house feels so amazing after a MUCH needed deep clean. The price was extremely reasonable for everything that was done. Both my husband and i work so much, that it's really hard to keep up with a lot of the deep cleaning, and after seeing what a great job they did, i will definitely look at bringing them in regularly to keep my house in shape! read more

Amazing. Showed up wearing masks and spent several hours cleaning our house from top to bottom, even getting the dust and cobwebs off the ceiling corners and out of the window tracks and blinds. They are also priced more affordably. I love how the clean to my high standards. My bathrooms look amazing and they even cleaned my baseboards. I needed a house cleaning since my regular house keeper was on vacation, I called 5s Housekeeping and I was very happy with the service. Mildred showed up on time with 3 lady's crew, they clean my house and was very pleasant, they clean all the windows and d everything that i asked. They finished in about 3 hours and the price was very reasonable. Used this company for the first time today. Cleaners were 45 minutes late. They didn't contact us saying they were running late, which would of been best way to handle. We had to call to see if they were even coming. No apology offered. Their services were "ok". They missed dusting several things. Not a great 1st time experience. They longer return my calls. Good help is so hard to find! They missed a couple of cleaning appointments and now they are no longer reachable. I won't be using or recommending their company anymore. I had to teach their staff how to mop every time they came because they didn't know how to use Bona Floor Cleaner properly and would use wood furniture polish on floors! If they can't learn how to use cleaning products correctly it's not much of a loss. I'm looking to Nixie Dust Cleaning when I need help on the future. This team gets another 5 star review from me, because they deserve it. The mixup was entirely mine. I said "same as last time (kitchen + 3 baths), completely forgetting that not only do I HAVE 4 baths, that's what they did the last time. When my husband pointed out that the master bath was not cleaned, I contacted 5 Stars. They were understandably confused because clearly my text said 3 baths. Their error was not clarifying this with me when they got here and I pointed out the 4 bathrooms I wanted done. I would've been okay with an apology because, after all, I started the mixup. Instead, they came back out and cleaned the missed bathroom. That's service above and beyond and you don't see that very often. Their van was parked across from my apartment bulding, obviously a free advertizing ploy, nevertheless, I gave them a call. I had never had much confidence in the local house/carpet cleaning companies. However, surprise,surprise, they arrived exactly on time, sent two smiling maids, got the cleaning done within 90 minutes, sent the carpet cleaning guy in good time as the maids were finishing up and.... they all did a decent job. In addition, they accepted a personal check (it was Saturday and I had no cash on me), took a reasonable price for the maid cleaning, the only negative mark was that the carpet shampoo guy took more than I was quoted on the phone after he saw the job. (But, dont tell them (lol), the price he quoted was still lower than anyone elses). :-) read more

Mary and her team have cleaned my house 3 times now and each time I have been very happy with the results. The 1st time they did a deep clean for me and I was very impressed with how they left my house. I was previously using "Tidy" but stopped after 3 visits because each time I still found dust in corners as if they swept everything to the side and my floors were not clean - they also failed to clean my kitchen. I'm am so glad I found Mary and her team. Mary is easy to get a hold of and responsive. They clean everything even my windows and sliding doors and have gotten all the dust under my furniture that everyone else seems to be blind to.
