Everything about the NRG cleaning crew was exceptional. They arrived on time, an energetic group of three women, and got straight to work. Four hours later, the house looked like new, better than I had seen it in years. The women were pleasant, helpful, responsive, and relentless in getting every inch sparkling. They even used pumice to remove water deposits from bathroom fixtures. The place just gleamed. The owner, Rachel, could not have been more responsive and helpful, and clearly runs a tight ship. Our first time ever having a maid service in our home and we wonder why we waited so long. I called Rachel on Monday and she scheduled a deep cleaning for Wednesday (so we didn't have much time to prep, but we got it done) and they showed up right on time. They estimated 3-4 hours and I think it took about 3.5. We came home to a house that is incredibly clean! Before we did this, we had planned to replace the glass shower enclosure because it just looked wrecked, but now it looks like brand new! Can't believe my stove and oven and microwave all look brand new as well. The not so good maid required too much micromanaging & i kept having to repeat the areas that needed cleaning, as well as point out areas that were poorly cleaned. $395 deep cleaning. Overall decent job, but wouldnt have paid more than $150-175 for the results. Found someone else. $150 includes deep cleaning. White woman arrives with spanish speaking female cleaners to location to drop off her employees & leaves, then comes back at the end to collect the total amount in cash in person on their behalf, although they did all of the work. Modern day slavery, but hoping the $400 payment is evenly split by 3 ppl. Doubt it tho. UPDATE MORNING AFTER POSTED REVIEW: Rachel has decided to dismiss my cash payment of $415 total ($365 cash) in retaliation to this review!!! Both ladies were very nice, and did an amazing job cleaning my townhouse! I'm very picky when it comes to cleanliness, but they went above and beyond and the little details matter. I like how they tidied everything and were meticulous with putting everything in the right place. I have a dust allergy so I noted how important dusting was, and so far everything I've touched is dust free. NGR Maids are amazing. My partner and I just opened a store front, so we spend 80 hours a week here, and our house became a disaster. We only have one day off, and wanted to actually have a day together not cleaning. NGR was able to make an appointment quick, adjust my appointment for a deep clean, had 2 of her workers on site, and on time. Rachel then came herself and brought two other workers to make sure our apartment did get the deep clean, and finish on time. That is an owner that takes pride in her company, and is willing to make it happen. We've never hired a maid service before, and they have set a standard that would be hard to follow. They did an exceptionally high-quality job and combed our entire 3,300 square foot home inch by inch. 4 women came and they were non-stop and ferocious in their cleaning. Also, my wife has a dust allergy and we made several unique requests, and they very carefully listened to our requests and 100% implemented everything we were hoping they would do. My wife and I have annoyingly high standards, and they exceeded all of those standards. PLUS, they all were extremely kind and cheerful the entire time. They had very positive attitudes and actually looked and sounded like they were having fun for the many hours they were here.... Rachel Shmuel, the Owner of NRG Maids, has bad energy. My husband & I were looking for a new cleaning service for our new home in LA, in the valley. Upon arrival, a woman named Rachel dropped 2 Spanish-speaking ladies off to clean my house. I was excited to hear that one of the ladies came from my mother's country, so I began to bond with the ladies by practicing my fluent Spanish. Rachel immediately cut off our conversation saying in her European accent: "Please only speak English in front of me because I would like to understand if you are saying something about me." This racist action made the vibe awkward in my home. I no longer wanted Rachel in my home. I sensed a lot of attitude from her. I lit sage when she left my space, and I let my husband deal with her for the rest of the transaction, while I made sure the Latina ladies had water & were ok. The house was cleaned ok, but I clean better, considering service was $365 for regular cleaning service. Not good enough. My neighbors provided me with the numbers of their trust worthy cleaning ladies & they estimated my location $150. I would not recommend NRG Maids. read more
