The Day You Rent Away…read more I almost can't believe I'm writing a five-star review for a car rental place, and yet here I am. We did technically have our rental thru Alamo® but there was no one at their desk (it was Christmas day), so we were sent here to their sister company at Enterprise® to complete the transaction. The Good: *Booked thru Costco for an eight-day rental for a small SUV for less than $100/day--including taxes and fees. *The lady working the desk, Yvonne, was outstanding; friendly, fast, efficient, and didn't go too hard on the insurance upsell. *Once we were done, we were sent to the lot where a friendly gentleman named Miguel *ACTUALLY WALKED US TO OUR CAR*!! Lord, in heaven, I got a case of the vapors and thought I was going to pass out. These places usually just turn you loose in a sea of vehicles and say, "Good luck and don't let the door hit ya where the dog should've bit ya." I'm looking at you, Baltimore... =T The Meh: *They didn't have any small SUVs left (I felt that Seinfeld bit about taking but not keeping the reservation creep into my head), but fortunately, Miguel hooked us up with a Toyota® RAV4™ upgrade for free. The Ugly: *The car exterior was a bit dirty, and a few of the windows were downright filthy. I'm not sure if this car had just been returned and they hadn't had time to clean it yet or what? Regardless, it's not really a big deal. TLDR: I still can't believe I'm giving 5* to a car rental place, but they definitely deserve it. To quote Kramer: It's a Festivus Miracle!

Very disappointed with this location. When you rent be sure to inspect the car very very…read morethoroughly. When I picked up the car I was told that any damage smaller than a couple inches in diameter was not significant and did not need to be noted on the renters agreement. So naturally I looked for larger dents and dings and did not find any so of course I signed the agreement stating that there was no damage to the car. When I returned the car, I was told that the car had hail damage and that I needed to pay a $500 deductible to get it fixed. The damage is nearly unperceivable to the naked eye and is much much smaller than the dents and dings that I had already noticed before I rented the car. New Mexico had several hail storms before I rented the car, and even if I had looked for damage beforehand, I would not have seen it. It is very very minute. I made the mistake of making small talk with the agent when I rented the car and I had mentioned I was driving to Colorado. Well, they also had hail that weekend, however we did not get caught in it. Unfortunately at that point it is your word against theirs and since I already signed the agreement I was pretty much stuck. The original agent I signed the agreement with saw me when I first got there but then left to the back and I did not see her again which was strange because I was there for over an hour. I just feel like they try to wring as much money out of you as possible. It is unfortunate because I have rented with Enterprise before and I used to brag about their customer service but I won't be renting with Enterprise again and I will not advise my friends or family to do so either. The whole thing felt very shady and I do not believe that this location brings the customer service that I thought Enterprise stood for.

The Coors Hertz location the most unprofessional and the worst customer service I've experienced in…read moremy life and I'm 73 years old. I retired from a major airline providing Customer Service for 20 years and would have been fired for treating customers the way they do specially the manager. I been doing business with them for several months renting vehicles to drive for Uber and it has gotten horribly worse. I reserved a compact car like I had previously. I went to pick up the vehicle and they informed me they didn't have a car for me. I was paying $260 base previously but now the only option for me was a Tesla which would cost approx. $350/weekly plus the time and cost to charge make it impossible to cover the cost and make money. Anyway, my other choice given was a 2019 Ford Flex with 108k miles at $310 per week. The agent told me that it would be almost as economical as my previous vehicle, a 2021 Toyota Corolla which I was getting an average of 34MPG. It turned out that the vehicle was averaging 21MPG based on the dashboard mpg display. Also, the agent said they do not clean cars before they are rented. This vehicle was dirty inside, but the outside was filthy including the windshield and didn't have cleaning solution in the dispenser. I finally had enough and decided to return the vehicle today. I have spent numerous hours since yesterday calling Uber and Hertz to honor the reservation. I want to work! Uber agents have said it was a Hertz problem and Hertz agents have told me it's Ubers problem. Anyway, total frustration and anger. To make it worst, the manager from Hertz at the Coors location told me that I couldn't rent a car from Hertz/ Uber program anymore because I expressed my frustration. Why was I not contacted if they couldn't honor the reservation.? They told me that I should have called to see if they had cars available. Totally ridiculous and unprofessional. I've become a Platinum with Uber in about 4 months. I pride providing good customer service, which can be confirmed by my customer reviews. Anyway, I remember when Hertz were number one because they had an excellent product. Their cars were new, super clean and their staff was very professional. Now, I'm not allowed to rent a car and work because of Hertz on Coors incompetence.

We booked ahead of time, and the whole process was very easy. Budget really lives up to its name. We got an electric Mustang Mach-E for about $270 for the week, which felt like a great deal. Check-in was smooth and quick. The paperwork took maybe 3 minutes. Overall, great experience and I would definitely rent from them again.

I verified that my Fastbreak profile was up to date on the Budget website with payment, license etc before my visit. I even received an email shortly before pick up that my car was in process. However, when I arrived at the airport, I followed signs in the rental car area only to find that there was a line for Fastbreak pickups in the dedicated area for these loyal clients. I waited in line for at least 10 minutes. While I waited, there was a board with Avis preferred clients in process and no board for Fastbreak. Ultimately, I had to be helped by a customer service agent and still do the usual of showing my license and swiping my credit card. The staff was kind enough, but not particularly efficient. As such, I will probably try another rental car agency on my next visit to ABQ.
