Very disappointed with this location. When you rent be sure to inspect the car very very thoroughly. When I picked up the car I was told that any damage smaller than a couple inches in diameter was not significant and did not need to be noted on the renters agreement. So naturally I looked for larger dents and dings and did not find any so of course I signed the agreement stating that there was no damage to the car. When I returned the car, I was told that the car had hail damage and that I needed to pay a $500 deductible to get it fixed. The damage is nearly unperceivable to the naked eye and is much much smaller than the dents and dings that I had already noticed before I rented the car. New Mexico had several hail storms before I rented the car, and even if I had looked for damage beforehand, I would not have seen it. It is very very minute. I made the mistake of making small talk with the agent when I rented the car and I had mentioned I was driving to Colorado. Well, they also had hail that weekend, however we did not get caught in it. Unfortunately at that point it is your word against theirs and since I already signed the agreement I was pretty much stuck. The original agent I signed the agreement with saw me when I first got there but then left to the back and I did not see her again which was strange because I was there for over an hour. I just feel like they try to wring as much money out of you as possible. It is unfortunate because I have rented with Enterprise before and I used to brag about their customer service but I won't be renting with Enterprise again and I will not advise my friends or family to do so either. The whole thing felt very shady and I do not believe that this location brings the customer service that I thought Enterprise stood for. read more

Was annoyed to be given a car way a above what I requested. It was from out of state with high mikes but a nice Bmw. Lots of wear and tear. Those scuffs don't matter they said. Don't worry about they said. Upon returning it they won't over this thing with a microscope. Make sure you always write down any little piece of nick or scrape. It is infuriating they do this. High miles, nicked up cars must be massive revenue generators. Edit/Update: I appreciate enterprise taking the time to review the claims. We rented a car fro here before and didn't have a great experience. This time it was no better either. Next time we'll probably rent a car from the airport. We had a rental for a week, and we got "upgraded" to a Ford Fiesta car. Are you kidding me????!!!!!! If you have even ridden in this car, it is the worst rental I've ever been in. Cramped and small and just an awful ride all around. At least it was gas efficient. The people at this location at least were very friendly, but they didn't really seem to care that it was a crappy car experience. I've never had such a crappy rental car before. They didn't mention that there was no gas cap either, which scared us. We never had a car with no gas cap. Windows weren't cleaned at all which was an issue at sunrise and sunset there. It was what it is...but we might have a better selection at the airport going forward. read more

This location on 2nd is near where I live so I went there. I cannot say enough good things about the experience I received there. The leasing agents all dress very professionally and the customer service is excellent. This location is immaculate and is a stand-out for service. They had just received an award for that the day I was in. I had rented a car there almost two years earlier and was told I would receive an upgrade the next time I rented there. I didn't expect them to know that almost 2 years later, but I did receive a very nice Infinity SUV. This is an excellent location for Enterprise, which I always use. Thank you Enterprise! read more

This location has terrible customer service. I was told if they were a available I would be provided a ride to the body shop after I dropped off my vehicle. Upon calling the location I was told they were too busy to give me a ride and was forced to take an Uber. Upon arriving at the enterprise I see the two employees sitting there with their feet literally kicked up on their desks not doing a single thing. After o got my rental car I noticed the employee watching me until I left so he could get in one of the cars and go provide someone a ride. I'm not sure how they pick and choose who to give rides to but it's extremely ridiculous they consider sitting at their desks doing absolutely nothing to be too busy. read more

Staff was incredibly friendly and super helpful and probably the most excellent car Rental staff I have ever dealt with. The website I booked through guaranteed a 4 Wheel Dr. car but enterprise does not guarantee that so when I arrived I had a 2 Wheel Dr. car however the staff worked quickly and effectively to get me a 4 Wheel Dr. car. They even drove me to lunch while I waited. Everyone was eager to serve and easy to make conversation with. And they even gave me the 4 Wheel Dr. car at the same rate as the 2 wheel drive. I am sad that these are not the people working at the enterprise in my home state because they're obviously the best. 100% would recommend to anybody read more

I was so excited to take my family on a graduation trip to Disneyland . The young man who works there his name is Blake did everything to make sure that we had our 15 passenger van he was able to make a dream come true. Excellent customer service. Staff was very friendly and able to provide lots of recommendations for things to do in the area. The car we had was in excellent condition. Check in and out was super easy. No hidden charges or fees. Used my own car insurance - declined all the insurance provided by Enterprise - and didn't get pressured at all. Great Customer service but the car was dirty and had maintenance issues but it worked for what i needed it for and it was good on gas.

Must have been an off day for the staff at this location. Made to wait over an hour for our car. At first reasoning, was "we have to go get it", then it was "sorry we're having it cleaned"... Not at all professional in our opinion for staff and attentiveness when we called ahead of time to confirm pick up time etc prior to the day of pick up/delivery of rental. Car was not at all clean when it finally arrived so we do not know what they were cleaning when we were told it was being cleaned. Overall experience was akin to a no-nothing staff with the greasy used car salesman running the show. Location was not the usual Enterprise store front. Essentially an old corner gas station re-carpeted, repainted with a spritz of air freshener--which did not help the odor of sanitary sewer. Not sure if there was a back up in the office or just left overs from the previous occupants. As one in our party stated, it smells like sh*t in here!! Again, it must have been an off day for staff if one takes in to account all the 5 star ratings shown here. Personally not at all impressed and will not be going back to this location. I do not live in ABQ and use Enterprise extensively for work and travel when at home and have had no issues with the company or my local office. ABQ second street location needs a make-over or relocate and restaffing. Staff, again, no-nothing with greasy salesman running the show. read more

I was in a crisis and the personnel at Enterprise, 5522 2nd St NW Albuquerque, NM, were totally unwilling to work with me. Sam, who I dealt with, was unreasonable, tyranny, and smug. I will continue to bring my business to Enterprise however if I encounter another representative like Sam, I won't go back and I will tell everyone I know about my experience. These folks are the best! They all worked above and beyond the call of duty to make my life as perfect as possible. AAA set up the rental and Enterprise gave me a great discount as a result. This crew really cared about my situation and supplied a ride from where my truck broke down and then to the repair shop after it was fixed - and without any charge. I missed my truck, but the car was clean and well maintained. The cost was very good and there were no add ons or other surprises. Just great service and good value. Thanks guys! read more
