We'd been hiking waterfalls all day and we were starving so we just kind of ended up at 51 Park Restaurant and Tavern in Lee and I'm really glad we did. We got the truffle fries right away and honestly they were so good, you could smell the parmesan as soon as they came out and they didn't last long at all. Amy got the mashed potato pizza and she liked that a lot. Rick did pepperoni and said it was good, normal pepperoni pizza but wood fired so that nice crust thing. Kevin got pork belly and mushroom pizza and kept saying it was his favorite, it did look really good. I got the crab BLT and it was huge like actually huge, they really do not hold back on the bacon and the chips on the side were warm and we were all just kind of picking at them. It wasn't busy at all when we went in which was nice after being outside all day, and the service was great! We drank a lot of water after all that hiking. Was in the area for a getaway weekend with the hubby and it was late, we had just got to town and needed somewhere to eat. Stopped at the local Liquor store and he recommended this place. Ordered a few things. Was feeling like I was coming down with a cold so wanted soup. Hubby always wants a burger so we did that too. The place is super cool and we kinda wished we had ate there. So ordered on the app and it gave us a time of 40 mins to pick up, never been there so I assumed this was valid. So we went to the hotel, dropped off our stuff, checked in & then went back only to find out the order had been ready for 30 mins. The woman at the counter was like "We thought you werent coming" I already knew what that would mean... YEP, All the food was cold - and trying to make fries hot again in the hotel microwave sucked. The soup I tried to heat it but it just made it mushier. The taste & flavors of everything was DELICIOUS... Just wish the ordering process from the app was a little more accurate, and Im sure its no fault of the restaurant as it was a 3rd party app... But be mindful if you are ordering online! Myself and my twin 12-year-olds were staying in the area at the beginning of June and had dinner here on our last night, a Thursday. The atmosphere was fun and lively. The menu has a lot of appealing options. One of my boys, a lover of sushi, decided on the Ahi Tuna. He was quite disappointed, but I think it was more about his expectations, as we have had similar tuna at other places that we loved. The presentation was beautiful. He said he should have known to have a burger or sandwich since that is their specialty. My other son chose the Smashed Chicken sandwich with fries and I got the Crab Cake BLT with fries. We both cut our sandwiches in half and ate half of each. They were both very delicious and we cleaned our plates. The service was good. Our waitress wasn't fazed by my moody preteen. My boys went to the bathroom upstairs and saw more tables on that level. They said it was a nicer space and quieter than the downstairs around the bar, but I believe that area is only for groups. My husband had the crab cake BLT. We ate inside the restaurant. They have six foot glass door panels separating some of the tables in the area we ate in. There is also outdoor porch seating. Read the fun history of the building on the back page of the menu. The location in Lee was very convenient as we had a big road trip from Connecticut to Central New York. It was a Saturday night in the Berkshires, and most places were packed for dinner. We came across 51 Park in Lee, MA, and were pleasantly surprised. Nice outdoor area if you want to be outside but area inside was spacious with a nice bar area. The food was great! I got the getting figgy with it drink and my husband got the Oktoberfest beer. The lentil quinoa bowl with blackened salmon was so delicious! The drink menu was extensive as was the whiskey selection, although I only got a divine NZ Sav Blanc. Highly recommend! My husband and I stopped in to break up our trip home from Upstate New York on a Sunday at 7pm. There was a 40 min wait but we were lucky to score seats at the bar immediately. I ordered the short rib, served with sautéed spinach, mashed potatoes and gravy. Everything was delicious. The short ribs were so tender! The serving size was perfect. My husband got the 51 burger and he raved about how good it was. He also got the French onion soup which has a great cheesy top. The appetizers were amazing. Our favorite dish we got here was the Brussel sprouts 5/5 so delicious. The teriyaki wings were pretty good as well 4.5/5. The hot apple cider was delicious so crisp! The entrees were pretty good however both were lacking some flavor. The caprese pizza was good however a little bland 3.5/5 and the cheesesteak stromboli was also missing some flavor 3.5/5. Oh yeah, two bottles of a Hefeweizen brew. Then on to the pizza. 14" with Capicola "hot ham", jalapeño's will be fresh cut, as will the mushrooms, this all matters to me, and roasted red peppers. Great flavor pie! The dough is a bit like a flat bread, so I wasn't a huge fan, but by no means would it keep me from getting another. What I could see of the interior was nice. I ordered takeout tonight and I called to let them know I was missing a topping. I was told that I would be refunded the price of the topping ($1.50) off my next order, which rubbed me the wrong way so I left a 3 star review. BUT I received a call from Dari (I apologize if I got her name wrong, the voicemail isn't the clearest) within the hour clarifying their policy which is to comp the entree, not the topping which is infinitely better than the price of the topping. I love to see that kind of above and beyond customer service. Sadly, fewer and fewer people can afford to eat out, and when a restaurant does the most they can to make sure the customer feels that their money was well spent, it goes a long way. Thank you to Dari and the host for doing his best (I once spilled red wine all over a white dress as a waiter, mistakes happen). Great location, great service and great food! My wife and I were a part of a marriage retreat and we stopped here during our down time to grab lunch. The weather was beautiful so we sat outside. They have a lot of outdoor seating options. I got some of their in house vanilla cream soda which was great. Then I got the BBQ Chicken Stromboli - could have used a bit more BBQ sauce, but overall it was perfectly cooked and tasted great!! Our waitress was also very good; attentive and timely throughout. It's a beautiful old building with old wood floors, beadboard walls, stained glass accents and other antique details. This is a large and sprawling place, which has a second floor, the building was built between 1823 and 1826. It was very busy here when we arrived for lunch, which was not surprising considering the ambiance, and the kitchen aromas provided a positive omen for the food to be served. Our prompt and pleasant waitress, Chelsea, was attentive and helpful throughout our meal. Our party of three ordered: 2 - Roasted Root Salads with Shallot Vinaigrette 1 - Fig & Goat Salad with Panko Encrusted Goat Cheese and Red Wine Vinaigrette 1 - Caprese Wood Fired Pizza (to share) The Fig & Goat Salad resulted in a very positive review; the goat cheese was excellent. Th Roasted Root salads were good, but the dressing was much too strong. The Caprese Wood Fired Pizza was a thin crust pizza shared by our hungry group and was deemed to be excellent. They also accommodated and brought out the pasta first for the kids before anything else. The waitress was friendly and we ordered three burgers. One truffle burger, one bacon jam, and one signature burger. Overall the burgers were flavorful with a good cook and char. My wife's burger was a little charred more than she liked but she still enjoyed it. The fries were delicious and crisp and we had the jalapeño popper app which was not what I expected in shape and presentation but was still delicious overall. The only negative was the Cole slaw that I ordered which seemed more like a pickled cabbage topping that should have sat on top of a burger rather than being presented as a side. We opted to sit inside since it was super humid, and we were seated immediately on a Sunday evening. Though we were impressed by the number of craft brews on the menu, we weren't interested in any brews at the time. We did, however, decide to order an appetizer. I was craving chicken fingers, so we ordered those, which you could get tossed in a wing sauce. We ordered them plain but with BBQ dipping sauce on the side. They came out relatively quickly and were super tasty - well seasoned and well cooked. For our entrees, I ordered the Bacon Jam Turkey Burger, and my boyfriend got the Italiano Stromboli, which had sausage, pepperoni, pesto, mozzarella and tomatoes with marinara dipping sauce. My burger was great! I was a huge fan of the bacon jam and caramelized onions. My boyfriend thought his Stromboli was just OK. The service was just average.
