Ordered pita with fries and the fries were sold separately. Only after ordering. Food was average and pricey so go else where.

Great service. Super delicious food. Had the pastrami Reuben and it was like someone's grandma made it.

Great lunch and fresh brewed ice tea. We had the tuna salad and it was delicious. Nice people with great service.

On top of that, I asked twice for my plain black iced coffee, and it didn't show up until after I finished eating, which kind of defeated the purpose of ordering it. It genuinely felt like the staff was more focused on chatting with each other than taking care of customers. The vibe from the employees was also not great. When I mentioned I was vegetarian, I got a reaction that felt really judgmental and dismissive, which made me uncomfortable. When I asked for the Wi-Fi, I got hit with a snarky, "Do you not see the sign?" while they pointed at something completely hidden. The whole thing came off as really passive-aggressive. Overall, the service felt rude and unwelcoming, the food was cold, and the drink situation was just annoying. I left feeling like I had spent money just to be treated poorly. I've actually given this place a few chances, because I do like the aesthetics, but the food and service are just not good. The food is bland, and I don't feel like paying $20 for something that tastes like cardboard. ALSO I ordered a kale salad and the kale wasn't even massaged. It was just straight up kale dressing and a few pumpkin seeds. This was $17 by the way.

Most recently my husband and I split a turkey club crepe, French onion crepe and seasonal strawberry rhubarb crepe. All brilliant. 2 years ago when we came through we had the French toast breakfast crepe (which included eggs and bacon inside it) which I still think about because it was delicious, but so confusing that those flavors were so good together. The little salad given with the lunch crepes is appreciated too. This spot is usually pretty busy. You order at the counter, take a number and sit. They have a fridge of tap water carafes you can grab for your table and they will bring the kitchen items out to you. Sometimes there's an in shop singer. It's a nice space with flowers, art and local interest items as decor. The only uncomfortable moment is it bottlenecks a lot by the order counter and can be crowded there.

This casual eatery offers a selection of artisan red & white pizza pies, Sicilian slices, 8 flavors of gelato, antipasto, salads, burrata, and focaccia. The pricing is moderate here. They also have a limited selection of beer & wine. The dining room is casual inviting with table seating (with small potted plants), high top tables in the front, comfortable seating with colorful pillows with framed flower vase artwork above along much of the left wall, and a flatscreen TV on the back wall. I stopped by appetite for takeout, and ordered the Vegetarana Pizza ($19 plus tax), which was ready in about 20 minutes after ordering. This 12" pizza (no cheese) was topped with red tomato sauce, roasted peppers, onions, olives, artichokes, mushrooms, and basil on a thin artisan chewy crust. This pizza was very fresh. My boss who is a vegan would definitely enjoy this pizza. I almost ordered the Margherita Pizza, which is topped with tomato carpaccio, basil and burrata cheese, which I would get next time.

Upon arrival at 1894, you are seated and champagne is brought to the table with impressive speed…read more You are about to find out as you sip your champagne that this is part of either a four course or a six course prix-fixe menu, which costs either 129 or 179 dollars per person, and these menus are the only option. These will be paired with wine. If you don't drink alcohol, that's fine, simply pay exactly the same price and they won't bring the wine. It turns out that all of the menus you may have found online were incorrect and outdated. There is no official website for the restaurant itself, and therefore perusal of an accurate menu had been impossible, but you couldn't have known that. You simply thought you were looking at a current and much more reasonably priced a la carte menu. If you HAD known all the information online was inaccurate you might have called the restaurant and asked where you could find a menu to look at and they would have said "we have two prix-fixe menus, one is 129 and one is 179 and... hello?... hello?". As you are learning all this you are now sitting sipping what you may have initially thought was complimentary champagne, and so you might feel obligated to stay, which is probably exactly the point: you can't leave now, you're already drinking the champagne. If you drink alcohol, and you had planned to order something resembling a four course meal anyway, 129 dollars could certainly be considered a good deal, especially considering the very high quality of the food and service there, and the terrific view of the grounds and the ambiance of the dining room. This becomes significantly attenuated however when half your group doesn't drink, and no one in your group had even been planning on having an appetizer, or dessert, given that you have tickets the symphony that begins at 8, and even though it's only 6:30 you're now about to embark on a four course meal that will likely make you miss the first half of the show, but that's OK because you don't really care for Berlioz anyway, but you might even miss the beginning of the second half of the show, and therefore lose your seats, but they'll still let you sit in the shed, just further away, much further away. How does Vermont sound? And so given that the menu that you looked at online was comparatively quite inexpensive, you are now paying something very close to 4 times the amount you'd expected. And you are also missing your show, because the service, which was quite excellent considering the times we live in at the moment, is still, on this relative scale, in this situation, too slow. If you know going in that you are going to pay something like at least 160 dollars with tax and tip per person, if you somehow managed to figure that out against all odds, it's a very good place to go. So now you know.

Every morsel is prepared so beautifully - even if you previously weren't a fan of a particular flavor or ingredient, this chef makes it sing. The menu is carefully put together to feature local ingredients and the Fruita and vegetables are meticulously chosen for the perfect ripeness. Every person in my party has very different preferences in their food and all of us were delighted with our choices. While the food is wonderful, what makes this restaurant a "must visit" on your list is the team- I have chosen this restaurant 3 times for recent special occasions and have gotten to see everyone work in concert with one another so that our service was flawless- at no time did we ever have an empty glass or wonder about an ingredient without having someone seamlessly pop by to ask - and they always knew the answer. I would specifically call out Jenny and Jamaica. They remembered us on a repeat visit and both genuinely welcomed us back making us feel very special. The restaurant, while elegant and beautifully furnished also gives the vibe of feeling warm and cozy - as you can tell, this restaurant is tops of my list. Every step of the visit was outstanding- what a difference to the visits of the past.
