Best pizza in Amarillo. This place has a great atmosphere and delicious food!

Whenever I make a trip back to West Texas -- 575 is one of the places that not going isn't an option. Getting the Omni also isn't optional. Between the Sangria or wine, you can't go wrong. -- Their sangria is extremely high quality. (Most places I am disappointed in the sangria, but this is not the case at 575.) I recommend an "Amarillo Vacation" to folks in DFW - which they think I'm joking. But really, there's a lot of great food in Amarillo, as well as unique experiences. 575 is a place you can't miss while there. read more

We drive through Amarillo a couple times a year and typically stay downtown where the dining options are limited. We saw the great reviews & decided to venture out and are glad we did! It was actually quite busy for a Monday night but we were seated right away. Our waiter, Caramon, was excellent...very friendly & welcoming! He took the time to go through the menu, explaining the sizes and favorites. As a family of 3 we shared a large Omni & it was more than enough...very generous on the toppings! We found out about this place by complete accident. I am very glad we did It is a great spot and I will come here every time I'm in Amarillo. Our waitress Taylor was very knowledgeable about the menu and the beer selection and gave us samples of beer to make sure we got the right beer. She was very friendly and gave our kids pizza dough to play before dinner it was a great experience. The pizza was perfect. Can't wait to go back wish it wasn't 10 hours away! read more

The pizza is bomb. But I'm not a very picky pizza eater. I loveeeee love love their house wine. I don't know what they pop in their sangria. But dang, it sure is addicting. I'm giving them 5 stars because it truly is a good pizza place. No complaints. read more

575 Pizzeria is my family's favorite pizza in town! The food us superb. The beer is great. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The atmosphere is fantastic. This restaurant should be huge! 575 is small, cozy and has the feel of a big city downtown bistro (there's usually a short wait, but it's well worth it). Not to say that 575 isn't family friendly. There are always groups of family and friends waiting to get in. I've lived in, and traveled to large urban areas and 575 could do business in any of them. Denver, Dallas, L.A., Las Vegas should be jealous of little Amarillo. I will be a loyal patron as long as they're open! read more

This place stands out from other pizza places in Amarillo. Unique and quality ingredients make for geat pizza. Also has a nice selection of beers. I personally like to go for the beer in a bag. 3$ gets you a random beer in a brown paper bag, no cheap domestics. read more

I suppose the lack of pizza options gives this place higher reviews? I don't know...I'm comparing this to pizza I've had in many other states and cities across the country, not the other places in town. The pizza was just bad. The place was way overcrowded, which had me excited, because I figured it had to be good! Instead it just seemed like a chaotic, long wait for something wholly unworthy. The crust has no flavor. None. I don't think they use yeast as a primary lifter; probably a chemical rising agent for the dough like a lot of chains use. There weren't nearly enough toppings to cover the crust, either. I was disappointed to see a 1.5-inch width of plain crust all the way around. As for the toppings, there was almost no cheese on it at all. The sauce, which is a chunky style, was exactly that...very chunky. I'd have several bites with no sauce, then suddenly a bite with a big chunk of tomato. My husband hated that, because he doesn't like cooked tomatoes like that. There were almost no mushrooms on it. And at $2 a topping, I expect more than about a dozen pieces of mushroom on a large pizza (yes, I counted, that's how few were there). They do seem to use a premium pepperoni, because it wasn't nearly as greasy as if a cheap one was used. However, it had no spice or bite to it, which is, for me, kind of the point of pepperoni. Anyway. I ordered a large pizza and ate one slice, then threw away the rest. $23 for one slice of terrible pizza. read more

The pizza is awesome. A little pricey but whatevs. The drinks are DELICIOUS!

A recent visit shows the pizza is still delicious! We had two pies, the Dora (chicken, red onions, pineapple, jalapenos and chili powder) and the Bentley (canadian bacon, green peppers, red onions and black pepper). Both were delicious. Despite being packed on a Friday evening, people were served quickly and our server made sure our drinks were never empty and provided super-friendly service. Be sure not to park in the Snowhite Bakery parking lot next door- they will have your car towed as several diners found out when we were at 575. What a wonderful neighbor Snowhite is! read more

ok, my Mom and I were visiting Amarillo for a graduation celebration (mind you we are from California). We were recommended to this place by the Marriott Hotel, so I thought WOW! We headed over to check out the place. It was happy hour time but not busy at all, so when the waitress asked how many i replied 2 please, well she took us to the back of the restaurant where the kitchen/bathrooms were. I asked myself after passing all the empty seats located at the front of the place, but I didn't say anything. No sooner then we were seated, a white couple came in and were seated in the front of the place. HMMMM I thought, this place doesn't cater to my type of peeps (Mexicans) So sad to say the service SUCKED and I had no problem leaving the waitress NO TIP! I went with a group on a packed weekend evening and the service was great and the food tasty and out in good time. The beer and wine selection is fairly extensive and everything I got was good. Can't wait to go back! read more

Coming from Houston to Amarillo I hoped to find a nice place to take the family. This place really impressed me. Not only was the service great, the ambience was friendly and welcoming. Our pizzas didn't take long to arrive and they were delicious! We ordered the Doro and the Bender. Both were very tasty and the crust was amazing! My first time at 575 and I was not disappointed. After hearing so many great reviews, I had to give this place a try. I ordered the Bender (red pie) and the Quattro (white pie). First, the pie crust was perfect-crispy with just right amount of charring. The sauce on the red pie was just right and the 4 meats (pepperoni, canadian bacon, sausage, & bacon) was delicious. The white pie was a nice surprise with its amazing flavor. The combination of the 4 cheeses (mozzarella, parmesan, feta, & goat cheese) was the best cheese pie I've had. I will definitely be back and look forward to trying their other great pizza combinations! read more

Tried the gluten free crust and it was great with the white pie. It's worth the trip. It comes in a 12 inch crust, then you top it with what you want. 1 choice in gluten free beer I did not try but they have Angry Orchard Hard Cider. Great atmosphere! Give it a try. My husband and I tried this place last week and were pleasantly surprised! Delicious and fresh pizza and very friendly staff. Will go again.

After a long wait (over an hour) we were finally seated. This small cafe must be the only one of its kind in the area because there were so many folks waiting to eat here. The pizza was really good but then also I wonder if we were just starving and anything might have tasted good. Overall, it was a fun atmosphere for West Texas especially considering it is located in a strip mall. They also have a decent wine and beer list. Amazing, amazing, amazing!!! From the minute I walked in the door the staff were amazing!!! The service everyone provided was just wow! They even accommodated my viewing of the All-Star Game! And then the pizza....I cannot say enough about the pizza. I ordered the Omni. The ingredients were fresh, the crush was then cooked perfectly! The atmosphere was superb! Very good pizza. Sauce has good flavor without being too spicy. There is no medium size And the large is huge. We shared the small for three and it was enough, but we could have each had one piece more. It was thin pizza and I prefer a thicker crust, but this was good. We were satisfied though because it was so good. Waiter was very nice. It is small but very nice place. read more

This might be my new favorite place in Amarillo. It doesn't look like much driving up to it, but inside it is nice. It was pretty full when we went and we had about a 30 minute wait. That didn't bother me though, I just had a beer while waiting. And their beer selection is great, which seems to me to be a rarity in Amarillo. I had a couple of beers that I have never had before. Then to top it off, the pizza was amazing. They have a good selection of unique pizzas to choose from as well as make your own. Best Pizza I ever had! I'm from L.A. And I've had my fair share of good food. Amarillo is lucky to have this place.

This place was a real find. We wanted to try a local Pizza spot & Yelpers gave this a thumbs up. So, we decided on a whim to check it out. Outside it has this dark mysterious look but inside it's hopping like a sports bar/restaurant. We ordered a large pizza & boy was it large! This is one of our favorite restaurants in Amarillo, and tonight was no exception. We were seated promptly and were waited on within minutes. We ordered wood-fired bread with artichoke and spinach dip and a green striped piggy pizza (bacon, feta and mozzarella cheese, and bacon, with white sauce). All came out hot, fresh, and extremely tasty. The prices are also extremely affordable and there is something to satisfy every palate. This foodie's heart is happy.
