This place was pretty amazing. We stopped here to check out the town and ended up here. So many bakery items that just looked amazing. I had an iced mocha there and I have to say that it was the best iced coffee I've ever had. I don't usually get them for they are usually made so sweet. This was well made and I could tell. We all ordered amazing yummy items and all really enjoyed the lemon mini like cake. Again, well done! I'd definitely go back if in the area!

There is seating indoor and outdoor. Love that. The place has a very welcoming comfort vibe. An abundance of pastries to choose from. Coffee was good. Service was efficient. We would definitely visit again.

    Vast array of choices!

Definitely worth the stop on the way to North Cascades. Everything was gluten free and they had great meal options not just baked goods/ pastries. Service was great. Cute little bakery/cafe vibes.

What a gem in the middle of no where! Everything is gluten free. There are some dairy free options but limited (would love to see more!). I got the snickerdoodle cookie and carrot cake cupcake (both dairy free). The carrot cake cupcake is the best I've had since going gluten free 9 years ago. It was soft, moist and flavorful. Icing was a little sweet but I just scraped some off. Snickerdoodle cookie was good. My husband got the crème puff and bread pudding. He loved both and the filling was generous in the crème puff. Neither were dry. Hope to pass again on our way back to Seattle. We returned today 10/16 and it was beginning of the day so the case was full! Unfortunately, the dairy free options did not change :( we did order breakfast from the kitchen. Eggs and bacon for me and hubby got the seasonal pumpkin streusel waffles. He said they were the best he's ever had in his life including before he was gluten free.

I cannot say enough about the wonderful food at the bakery. I particularly enjoyed their pizza crust, pie crust and the variety of breads.

Great food, nice employees, and they let you color on the place mats. Can't ask for much more than that!

I specifically was seeking out Sky River Bakery on 3/15/25. I lucked out with a nearby parking spot and had an opportunity to check out the pastry case offerings while in line. There's also a few tables to dine at onsite. Pleasant small town, neighborhood feel. Both folks behind the counter were welcoming and kindly answered my questions. Nice assortment of beverages and baked goods available like biscuits, cinnamon rolls, cookies, muffins, cupcakes, and other pastries. The person ahead of me made it a point to have biscuits and gravy plus cinnamon rolls to go. Cinnamon roll got my attention! I ended up ordering a ham & cheese biscuit - got two mini ones for the price of one, plus a cinnamon roll. The latter kept really well refrigerated which I later ate for breakfast before work during the week. Nice that it was a manageable size and not too cloying with glaze...Goldilocks just right, lol. Enjoyed this destination detour and thanks to fellow Yelp Elites, Craig and Earnie for putting this on my radar screen!

On day one, my friend and I made a pitstop during a bike ride and split the marionberry pop tart which was huge and as delicious as it sounds - flaky and not overly sweet. The next day, we went back and shared the cinnamon bun (which lives up to the hype) and a slice of quiche that was flavorful, filling, and a great balance of hearty and light. I also ordered a hot latte which gave me the energy I needed for another day of exploring! The service was a little hit or miss - friendly but inconsistent. I can understand, though, as this place gets busy and the employees were very clearly working hard to keep up with orders. I appreciated the day old bin which is not only budget friendly but perfect for PCT hikers! The Stehekin Pastry Company felt like a true community hotspot as I saw locals, visitors, and PCT thru-hikers all gathering over coffee and baked goods. All in all, Stehekin Pastry Company is pretty much a must visit when you're in Stehekin. There is great food and a great atmosphere in one of the most beautiful, remote places you may ever visit.
