Location is great. This coffee shop had plenty of parking and lots of students studying here. Lots of open space and plenty of indoor and outdoor dining space. The matcha drink was refreshing especially on a hot day. The flight coffee was a mix of the same coffee but served in different ways. Their staff members were very friendly and help me with the menu options.

Coffee is as beautiful as the service; the people cranking out, and dialing, the 'spro here are the best around. Shout out to Wei on staking the time to guide me through beans while killing a rush queue!

I had such a wonderful experience at Moongoat Coffee. I loved that they had a stack of menus near the door so customers can figure out what they want as they are waiting in line. For drinks we ordered an iced americano topped with sea salt cold foam and a hibiscus iced tea sweetened with honey. My iced americano was delicious. The coffee itself was smooth and the sea salt cold foam provided a hint of sweetness. The hibiscus tea was refreshing and not overly sweet. You know it's going to be TEA when the drinks have crushed ice . Their bagels are fluffy and delicious. My egg sandwich had arugula, cheese, and bacon. The bacon is cooked more crispy, which I love. My husband said the salmon bagel was "so f'n good" and that the cream cheese was excellent. When you dine in, the staff brings out the food to your table. The employees were so nice and provided service with a smile. We loved the ample indoor space and extra seating outside that's covered.

I remember noticing this place just after it first opened. I ignored it for the longest time before running across it in my Yelp! Recommendations. I gave them another look, and was surprised by what I saw: They weren't just serving coffee and pastries, they were serving actual food! Pleasantly surprised, I decided to give them a try. Looking over the menu, I already knew ahead of time what I was going to order. Then came the day I gave them a try. I had Volunteer work that same day, so, I got there bright and early. When I walked in, the place looked upscale, but, not someplace where the 2% hang out. Upscale, yet, modern, but, not hipster. You can order at the counter, or, use the ordering kiosk. I ordered a Breakfast Bagel Sandwich, and a Buttermilk Biscuit & Egg Sandwich Deluxe. My order was ready within 15 minutes, which is reasonable. Both sandwiches were delicious, and surprisingly filling! I was worried that I wouldn't have room for the Biscuit Sandwich, since I finished the bagel sandwich first. The Bagel Sandwich, texture-wise, was perfect, as far as I'm concerned. Not rubbery at all, and easy to bite into. The Buttermilk Biscuit Sandwich was perfect, too. Flaky, and all the fillings made for a delicious breakfast. I'll be making this one of my go-to's for a quick bite before heading out to do my Volunteer work!

They have events with vendors and live music, their own massive parking lot, and two floors of tables. WiFi was good. + 16oz iced Budget Brü ($5 + $1.50 Sea Salt Cold Foam; Light Sweet, Cocoa Dusting): amazing price for a solid size and quality coffee (9/10)

Great place for a cup of coffee, but also has a great menu with breakfast sandwiches and more. Lots of places inside, upstairs and patio to enjoy your coffee. Hanging withe a big group of friends? This is the perfect spot. The staff is awesome and the vibe is urban industrial chill. Lots of local here and also folks hopping off the 22 freeway at Knott to get food and drinks. The shop is set back in a large parking lot next to a Calvary Chapel not easy to see from the street. Sunday mornings parking may be tight.

Their breakfast biscuit is one of the best breakfast items I have ever had!! That alone is worth 5 stars and a trip here to try it yourself. The biscuit was so fresh and had the perfect texture. All the ingredients were high quality and it was so flavorful. I loved that it wasn't too heavy, but was incredibly satisfying and filling to start the day. The cafe mocha was alright, probably wouldn't order that again in all honesty. Service was friendly and the interior had plenty of seating available with some decorations to liven things up. There's a nice outside area as well with some shade, but all the seats were taken when I went. I will definitely be back here just for that breakfast biscuit deluxe as it was simply incredible and had my tastebuds dancing like it was disco night in the 80s!!

The staff is always super helpful and always make the ordering interaction friendly and upbeat! I tried the new Strawberry Watermelon Matcha, but I wouldn't recommend. It pretty much tastes like strawberry milk. It left me craving that earthy matcha flavor. To be fair, this was to be expected by the color of the drink in photos but I digress. On a good note though, I do enjoy the food selection and would come here for that, if in the area. I also enjoy the bread they use. The seating goes pretty quickly and most people stay a while so try to go before peak hours!

Stopped by this coffee shop in OC, tucked away in an industrial area with a huge parking lot. The café itself is spacious, with seating downstairs, an upstairs area, and outdoor patio seating. I came on a weekday to get some work done, and it was busy. I ordered the churro latte, which came with latte art. It was a solid drink with just the right amount of cinnamon flavor. They also have a food menu if you're looking for something to eat.

I genuinely wish and pray a moongoat location opens up closer to me. This is my absolute GO-TO for coffee, chai, cafe food. The lord knew yall had to be far from me cause my credit card company would be seeing moongoat in my statement EVERYDAY. I treated myself after passing a test as one queen should. I got myself a LARGE chai tea. go big or go HOME. honey I would've ordered 3 but I would've had to pee on the side of the freeway drinking alllathat. Of course it hit all my brain's g spots... but wait. I had also ordered the italian focaccia sandwich. pause. I'm having flashbacks. Looooooooord. 10/10, no 100/10. I was licking my fingers all that butter or oil whatever it was like there was no tomorrow. how was it so good?! I am astounded. Bewildered. flabbergasted. They have an indoor, upstairs and outside patio for your needs. As well as being a cute cafe for your studying needs. I love moongoat so much 0 complaints except i wish they were closer to me. xoxo

Though it's a coffee place, what I love most is their Garden Goat Focaccia sandwich. Their focaccia bread is so good, so their Italiano Focaccia sandwich is also good, but I especially love all the roasted veggies and eggplant in the Garden Goat and think it's totally worth it for the price ($10.25). Their MaChaga (mushroom matcha) is pretty good and I've had various desserts as well that are good. What I am not as much a fan of is the layout/seating here. It feels dark and dingy on the top floor and if you can't get a seat at the larger table, you'll have to squeeze into the corner table. On the first floor, there is also a larger table but I've been kicked out of it before by staff who have told me they're having a meeting there. There is smaller tables, stool seating around the bar and then sofa seating (which is good for chatting but I'm usually there to work on my laptop). As a result, I wouldn't prefer to work here - just to grab a sandwich/drink to-go.

Great coffee and Tea Drinks. They has great coffee bean for purchase and plenty of drink choices. Nice seating areas inside and out. Very nice service and staff very helpful in helping you choose a drink or beans.

Ask the Community - Moongoat Coffee Roasters

Is the art on the walls actually for sale? How does that work?

Where does the name "moon goat" come from? Do they use goat milk (which is actually pretty good)?

They don't have goat milk but has alternatives like oat and almond milk. They also have 2% and nonfat!

If we are buying drinks, can we bring outside food to eat there?

Great question! Unfortunately that's actually a permitting issue with the city, so unfortunately we aren't allowed to welcome outside food. But we do offer dozens of food options, all 100% completely house made from scratch using whole ingredients!

Are dogs allowed inside and outside?

    Yes!

What are the sugar free options?

Hello Katrina! As of right now we don't offer any sugar free syrups, just our 100% house-made & from scratch options! If we did, what would you like to see?…

Is this a good place for working on your laptop/studying?

Yes, there's plenty of tables & countertops with outlets! The music isn't too loud either, and there's free wifi of course!

Is oat, almond, and coconut milk free for alternative milks?

Our oat and almond milk are made in house and are not up-charged! We don’t carry coconut milk, I’m sorry!

Do you house make your syrups?

    Yes, absolutely! Thanks for asking!

Do you guys have wifi available and how do I access it?

Yes there's wifi available, sometimes spotty however. There's also the church wifi nearby.

I know there is no indoor seating bc of covid but wondering if there are still a few seats outside or is it just a pickup fashion?

Hello! We have a large patio that has circular tables and picnic style benches with ample seating. Come see us!

Do you have a mobile service for parties, where we could hire you to serve your awesome coffee, tea, and drinks?

Absolutely! Please call our business phone number listed and inquire or you can email us at info@moongoat.com to get more information! MoonGoat is totally equipped for your catering needs!

    Is there WiFi?

Hey Marylou! MoonGoat here! There is definitely WiFi available at both our shops!

Not even exaggerating, I usually get two coffees here. I get one, go to Costco, then come back for another. Real talk. No bs. anyways. go getyaself one. I especially like the Peanut Butter Coffee and the Vanilla Cold Brew... and the Dustino... I really like the banana coffee too... they make a mean @ss dirty chai. I swear the list goes on and on. Oh their teas are good too. aight i'm out.

The best place to get Vietnamese coffee drinks! I've visited multiple times and I keep coming back…read morefor their Coconut Coffee. Their Coconut Coffee is one of their blended creation that uses Phin Smith's signature District 1 Blend which has a dark, bold, and intense coffee flavor with nutty undertones. The drink has a rich coconut crema which makes it silky and smooth flavour. Since it's a blend, the coconut pairs well with the strong bold coffee flavor. It's a bit sweeter which is what I like. It makes for a refreshing drink on those hot summer days. Service moves along well. You order your drink and once you've received your drink, you pay at the cash and then you can head out with beverage. I love how content all the staff are and there's many of them to make sure you get your drink in a timely manner. It's a must visit if you're in garden grove and craving for Vietnamese coffee. I also highly recommend the Phin Freeze and the Javacado!
