Very disorganized place. I specifically asked them to verify my sandwich order before leaving, and they reassured me that everything was correct. I drove 25 minutes home only to realize they still got my order wrong. It's extremely frustrating to trust that your order was checked, especially after asking twice, and then have to deal with the inconvenience once you're already home. These are true New York-style bagels, boiled and baked fresh every morning, with that perfect chew on the inside and golden crisp on the outside. You can literally smell the freshness the moment you walk in. I ordered a sesame bagel with tuna, but they had every flavor of bagel under the sun (including some unicorns I have never seen before). The bagel texture was spot on -- not bready, not cakey, but that classic NYC bite you cannot fake. The tuna was perfect (with finely minced celery and carrots just how I like it). If you want legit New York bagels without flying across the country, please support this gem. I'm already planning my next visit and bringing friends. I might start going everyday. I was craving a bagel while visiting family in SoCal. I Yelped local bagel shops and this business popped up with great reviews. This worked out because it was right up the street from where my hotel was at. It's located in a strip mall with lots of parking. The place is very clean upon walking in. They had a lot of bagels to choose from. Some I've never even heard of before. I ended up ordering the works bagel and chive cream cheese. It did take a bit for the lady to make this. I was looking at their toaster set up and I think this may slow them down in the long run. The lady had to keep opening up the toaster to check if the bagels were toasted, which then caused a small backup of customers. This was probably one of the best bagels I've had. The bagel was very flavorful and soft (not dense like some other places can be). There was also a nice sized portion of cream cheese dolloped on the bagel which was nice. No skimping here! I'll definitely be back when I visit from the Bay Area. read more

Surprised at the high ratings of this place. One star because the staff are super friendly and the place is nice and clean but the bagels are awful. Dry, almost stale, very dense and the eggs they use for their breakfast bagels are clearly liquid eggs, not fresh. Definitely not worth the $10 after you have to add cream cheese. Perhaps Anaheim doesnt have good bagel spots so that's why this is rated so highly. I know its a drive but NY bagels in Whittier is elite. That's what bagels should taste like. read more

I want to like them but they are pretty understaffed. Great menu and offerings, but only two workers and they had many people waiting extended times. I was really hoping for a new bagel spot...I went twice to make sure it wasn't just an off day the first time. The outer bite isn't there, the inside isn't that dense but still squishy consistency. I wonder if there's any baking soda in their boiling process. Very hard and dry bagels just a few hours after picking them up. The cream cheese smear is sad and a small portion. Reminds me of the bagels from the bread cabinet at stater brothers. House coffee was good and strong at least. I recommend adding a flavored syrup if you like a sweeter sua da. read more

I agree with Kami T's post. It took about .10 mins to order/get plain bagels. Only two employees. It was busy, it appears they had quite a few online orders. They definitely need MORE help. Place your order online and save yourself at least 20 mins. I'll give them another try since the location is on my way to work and the bagel was pretty good and reasonably priced. read more
