I love going here for brunch! Service is always attentive. I love it when I walk inside a restaurant, and they immediately ask if I need a highchair. I've been dining in & ordering takeout about 5x in the last 2 months. Each time has been a great experience. The food is delicious, made perfectly everytime. Their berry good French toast is gorgeous & a must order to share with a group. On the more simple side, their pancakes are SO perfectly fluffy & delicious! It actually makes us say "wow" everytime we take the first bite LOL. The servers that work here are very kind, attentive & quick. There's not many restaurants that my kid & I enjoy dining on a repeated basis but this is one of them.

I came here for breakfast with a friend at 10 AM on a Wednesday. The place had a cozy small-town feel -- No frills, just a few wooden tables in a modest lil' restaurant. My friend and I were immediately greeted by a really nice waiter, who took our drink orders and provided recommendations from the menu. I asked if they used fruit or powder in their smoothies, to which he replied, "we use both". I ordered a mango banana smoothie which looked way better than it tasted; It had a weird artificial candy flavor. My friend ordered orange juice, which he also said did not taste good. Fortunately, however, the food was alright! My Tasso omelette was as expected, hearty and filled with chunks of meat, and the home style fries (potatoes) were soft and filling. The waiter frequently checked up on us, refilling waters and jam appropriately as needed. I give this place 3 stars because although the entrees were good and our initial server was kind, the drinks were terrible and there was a bug in my water that another worker didn't seem too apologetic about. Also, $21 (before tip) for breakfast is a bit steep. Would I come back here again? Maybe. But also, there are other diners around that could probably do better.

Solid 4 stars. I mean, just LOOK at that French toast. It's beautiful! Only issue was I had about 7 bites where I could taste my husband's omelette on the bottom of my French toast. Not a total dealbreaker, but not pleasant. He thought there would be more to his omelette given the restaurant name. His Mama Mia was just okay. Perhaps it should be called the French Toast House?! Lol Service was helpful and nice. Decor is nothing fancy for Garden Grove. I'd come back for Berry Good FT again!

This joint continues to be my all time favorite breakfast spot! With reasonable prices and top-notch food, you really can't go wrong. The friendly, family-owned atmosphere and prompt service make every visit special. What more could you ask for? I highly recommend! Parking is limited however you can park on the side street

This is our new spot now for breakfast every weekend. They open at 0900 by 10am, it gets packed. Small hole in the wall gem. Great food and the price is great! Their banana nut pancakes i just tried is fire. In and out .. the service us fast and curious. Definitely returning again going on 10th time .

It's been years since I came here. But today, I was reminded what a great little breakfast spot this is. We walked in a little before noon and were able to get seated right away! I recall in the past, wait times can be quite long! I think we got lucky. For food, I went with the veggie omelette and added avocado. We also did an order of French toast with eggs and bacon. And an order of eggs and bacon with chocolate chip pancakes. Everything tasted great and we really enjoyed our meal. Will definitely be back sooner than later.

Very home-y. Service is great, very friendly staff. Food was great, kids definitely approved of it and wanted to eat more. The home fries does have a slight kick to it from the pepper but everything else was really good. Open till 2pm, definitely recommend. Will be back to try some other menus!

Came around noon on Sunday and got lucky since no wait and we found parking. The parking lot is quiet small. Food is good, we ordered build your own omelette and substitute a side of toast with French toast. Service is attentive , server is nice. Reasonable price.

The service here in this hole in the wall cafe was very quick and very friendly. I think the prices are also quite fair. My friend ordered an omelette plate and it was HUGE and came with a bunch of potatoes. I wasn't too hungry so I got this croissant for $6.49 and it was really delicious, flaky, and crisp but soft. I also had an iced caramel latte that was quite nice as well. The food feels healthy, hearty, and home-cooked while still being tasty. It's definitely a welcoming and friendly hidden gem.

I came here on a Thursday afternoon, and it was already packed, but we had no trouble finding seating in their outdoor section. I also want to quickly shout out their video displays showcasing the drinks and food items. It's such a cool touch and really helps them stand out. There are so many options to choose from between the drinks and food, and honestly, I'm not mad about it. Between my partner and me (we ordered a lot), we got the London Fog Matcha, Banana Matcha, Popcorn Chicken, Longanisa Burrito, and a Corn Cheese Cookie. Keeping it simple: everything was absolutely delicious. As of the date of this review, this is the best Earl Grey Matcha I've had. It was perfectly balanced between the floral Earl Grey notes and the grassiness of the matcha. The Longanisa Burrito was hearty and came served with Kei Concept's aji verde sauce. Lastly, I have to call out their Corn Cheese Cookie. It had such a great balance of savory and sweet, and I'm genuinely going to try my best to recreate this at home since I'm in the Bay Area and won't have easy access to it anymore :(. The food, especially the burrito, is solid like the other Kei Concept spots. The drinks are just okay though. Besides the Vietnamese coffee, most of the coffee drinks taste incredibly weak. The matcha has also been disappointing every time I've tried it since their grand opening- too milky and watered down despite being ceremonial grade. The hojicha is good.
