Perfect bagel shop experience. Took my kids in for a quick morning bite before a day of work. New in town but bagels sounded good to all of us. We each ordered one bagel a piece, prepared the way we wanted. Some toasted some not. Some with cream cheese, or honey. The guy took our order cheerfully, and hit it on the nose. We got our bagels within just a couple of minutes and found them simply scrumptious! Perfectly toasted (warm and slightly crisped, but not hard on the mouth), and absolutely PILED with topping! I'm serious, I had like a quarter inch on cream cheese on my bagel! It was awesome. Total cost out the door: just over $6. Total people happy: 3/3. Total times we'll be coming back: lots! read more

NEVER AGAIN. Been coming here frequently for a long time and always order the exact same thing every single time. Today the owner, whom took my order, got my order wrong and then proceeded to argue with me that I was the one who ordered wrong. She then told me she could remake my croissant that SHE made wrong but I was going to have to pay for another one. Seems like this is an ongoing problem. They charge extra for any little thing but refuse to fix something that they've made a mistake on. She doesn't pay attention to orders because she wants to be in a million places at once. Mistakes happen but take accountability for those mistakes, don't try to charge someone double for you not paying attention. Don't recommend this place to anyone, there's better places with better service. read more

I wanted to order a half dozen bagels this morning, so I called 10 minutes after they opened and they didn't answer the 3x I called. So I had to order online. I ordered my bagels and put in the description that "I wanted my bagels toasted and ready for pick up". (I had somewhere to be, hence why I called to order shortly after they opened). When I arrived she did not toast the bagels and told me that it would be $1 each to toast the bagels. What???? That's a complete, and absolute RIP OFF. I want to give zero stars. They sent me a bagel that burnt black. You can't serve people burnt food. When I told them that they burnt the bagel, they laughed at me. They said it is supposed to be burned. I am never buying anything here again and I am going to tell everyone who asks about it to never buy a bagel or anything else here. This has become my go to place for breakfast and lunch. The staff is friendly and I'm in and out rather quickly. Not only do they have a great variety of bagels and spreads, there's many choices in sandwiches including breakfast sandwiches, you are able to create you own as well. They also offer freshly made muffins and pastries, they also recently introduced a super delicious cinnamon roll!! Thirsty? I'll soon be moving my work location so en route to the new site from home, I was scoping out bagel options and discovered 5th Avenue right off the freeway. That's a plus! When I arrived it wasn't very crowded so I was helped immediately. I ordered an egg bagel, toasted, with extra cream cheese. It was ready fast and they take credit. The girl who served me was friendly and professional in out very short interaction. I ate the bagel on the go and I thought the amount of cream cheese was decent, although I could have used a little more toasting. By the time I got my car going, it was already cold. The taste and texture was fine, although I've found that some bagels have an odd sour taste and I noticed a little of that on this one. I'd like to try some of the other flavors and I'm sure I will over the upcoming years. For now, I'll be back and overall, I think it's a good product at a good value with good service. read more

3.5 stars. I was craving a good bagel one morning and found this location via Yelp. The great plus about 5th avenue is they are open EARLY. (You'd be surprised that some bagel shops in the area don't open until 8am which is late to me) There's a nice selection of fresh bagels. I'm a sweet bagel person, so I don't reach for the Onion, everything, sesame bagels. I bought a 1/2 dozen of mixed berry, cranberry and blueberry bagels. They have cream cheese too, but a small tub is over $2 which is a complete rip off. One bagel is $1.00 The bagels are fairly big but not as chewy and delicious as other chain bagel shops like Noah's or Einsteins. It seems like they offer a good deal of breakfast sandwiches and even lunch options. It's nice that there's plenty of parking since this is inside a shopping plaza, but the interior just seems old. Overall, decent service but not my favorite place to grab a bagel. read more

The second worst place I ever stepped foot into. The girl behind the counter has no personality, on top of that had a bad attitude. The place is out dated and needs a major upgrade. The Bagelry was out of most of their bagels and it was only 11 am... hmmm! We still decided to give the place a shot and placed an order. I soon after regretted my purchase and realized I should have gone with my gut feeling to walk right out. They have a sign that falsely advertises the sale of fresh squeezed orange juice. Having went to college in the inland empire, I travel back to visit old friends on the weekends. Wherever I am, I prefer to start my Saturdays off right - with a bagel. With that being said, this appeared to be the most prominent bagel place in Corona so I had to check it out. Ultimately, the customer service was fantastic and the bagels weren't bad! They had a pepper jack bagel which was really the jalapeno bagel with a slice of pepper jack cheese melted over the top. I laughed out loud when I saw this and figured that I had to order one because of its uniqueness. I also ordered a bagel sandwich which was comforting and delicious. I don't know where to start. I've been going there for quite a while, and with the new owner, it has been slowly getting worse. She is arrogant, and gets upset if you ask her to repeat the order. We always double check the order because it is for our boss, not for us. . I have tried to do phone orders, and now she just send them to voicemail as soon as she sees our office number, I have to block our number in order for her to answer. She has a personal vendetta against my coworker and its simply because we have asked them to to please repeat the order since its for our boss and she has gotten it wrong before . She is a very rude person. Yesterday, they took the person behind me as well, and had me wait for another 10 minutes. Very upsetting. I am a fan of a good bagel sandwich and this place is pretty spot on! Sometimes I like to just wing it and check out places on Yelp and go without looking at reviews so that I can get a true first impression and this place is amazing! The staff is super friendly there. That is a 5 star for me as sometimes going to places for the first time in a whole different city can be intimidating but they made me feel so welcomed. I ordered a turkey, egg, cheese and avocado sandwich on an everything bagel and it was delicious! Well put together and no ingredients slid off so you got a little bit of everything in every bite. I got their orange juice as well and it seems like it was freshly squeezed which is one of my favorite ways to eat breakfast! Thank you for making my experience memorable. I went here 1 hour after they opened and were already out of the everything bagel and settled for something else. They added a ton of cream cheese (was a bit too heavy for me) with onions, tasty! Sadly the reason I am giving 1 star is unfortunate. I have been coming to this Corona location for 2 years because the price was reasonable and the food was good and I drive out of my way to come here (17 miles) . I am writing this review for the deplorable customer service attitude. I asked for my bagel to be extra toasted and they said no we can't do that as it holds them up because they have to watch and pay special attention to make sure they put it back on the conveyor belt 3 times. Its a conveyor belt so its not like my 2 pieces of bread impede them from using the toaster for other customers, its why restaurants use a conveyor belt. They told me that they would only honor my request if I did not come back on weekends which because of how far away it is, that's the only time I can come to the store. They said during the week they would honor my request but not on weekends. This is a generational issue with customer service or lack thereof. An easy-to-find, convenient bagel shop since it's located right off the free way and opens as early as 5:30am on most days. I had a simple bagel with egg and cheese for $3.50 on one fine morning. Lots of flavors from the classic to the specialty were offered. They had at least 6 different specialty bagels which did include a spinach Parmesan in the form of a green bagel and even Oreo. I tend to stay far away from those crazy creations though so I went with a whole wheat bagel. Bagels are gigantic and extremely fluffy! Pretty cheap for the amount I received. A little weird, but there was an order mix up and thankfully I opened up the styrofoam before leaving because I was very confused by the green bagel and omelet next to it.
