My parents were in town and wanted to try the Indian food in the area. We found this place via a quick yelp search and I have to say I may have found one of my new favorites to add to my rotation. The staff is wonderful and attentive, whether they are busy or not everyone comes over and checks on every table, refilling water as needed and asking if they could bring anything else. Restaurant was a pleasant experience overall, we were a group of 4 and everyone enjoyed their food. The portions are fairly large and we ended up with leftovers. Hidden inside a medical plaza on Linton Blvd & Military Trail, one wouldn't know of it's existence unless needing to see a doctor or finding this on Yelp. The lunch buffet serves up a nice selection of tandoori & butter chicken, goat, tofu, rices, and curries with naan bread. It was all delish. It's always fun to sample a little bit of everything. I have been to the 5th Element in Pompano Beach and was happy to see a new location in Palm Beach County. The buffet is at lunch and I did not catch the lunch buffet this time. After a previous disappointing visit I decided to go back to 5th Element and I'm glad I did. I will bypass several Indian restaurants closer to my house and drive out west for the food simply because it is superior. This time the waiter was professional and helpful with selections. Every item we ordered was excellent - from a Potato Dosa, to a chicken dish, a Biryani Rice and an excellent cashew dish. It's hard to find a better Indian restaurant in Boca/Delray. read more

Went to 5th Element again after not going for a couple of years. While not a fan of Indian food, a friend wanted to go there with me. The service was good, which it should have been with only one other table of people. The food was hot and tasty, but I'm still not a fan of Indian food. I asked for mild and got spicy; my friend asked for spicy and got mild. But because they were different dishes, we knew it wasn't a mixup. Just was not a pleasant night out, except for the company. Everything we tried wasn't good, from yellow daal to rice to even naan. Usually naan is airy and fresh, this one tasted chewy and was flat. Came with a friend who highly recommended the restaurant. Located in Delray Beach on Linton and Military, there's a large parking lot in front of the restaurant. I like Indian food but I never know what to order so I usually leave it up to whoever I'm with. They are famous for their buffet, but I don't do buffet anything so I was very glad it wasn't offered for dinner. Everything we ordered was delicious. Some of the best Indian food I've had. Garlic Naan nice big slices of leavened bread stuffed with garlic. Chicken Tikka Marsala - nice portion of chicken in a spiced creamy sauce. Baigan Bartha - eggplant purée sautéed with onions and tomatoes Spinach Curry- this was by far the best dish. Cooked spinach cooked in a curry sauce and we had chicken added. The flavors were sinful! There was a vegetable dish that I enjoyed, which had flat green beans, a tiny amount of cauliflower, carrots, and lima beans. I had to ask that it be refilled. Aloo gobi, cauliflower and potato, a staple dish at Indian restaurants would have been appreciated. If I could give Zero stars I would. This was perhaps the worse Indian meal I've ever ordered. I've been eating chicken biryani's for many many years and what I got wasn't even close. We had a very good lunch experience here. We were able to take advantage of their lunch buffet and it was quite extensive. We have been to their other location in Pompano Beach many times. We felt that this location was even better than Pompano. We were familiar with the location having eaten at the same site when it was a Chinese restaurant. There is ample free parking right out front in the lot. Inside, the place is very large with booths and tables. The two buffet tables are against the back wall. The buffet is a set price and offered each day of the week; However, the prices are different Monday through Thursday vs. Friday vs. the weekend. As was expected the weekend price is the highest. But even so, it is a good value as it is all you can eat. The buffet had a lot of choices for both meat eaters and vegetarians. I sampled their biryani rice and vegetable rice, the chicken tikka masala, a shrimp curry, a goat curry, honey chili chicken, tandoori chicken, and canteloupe. They had a number of other dishes -- but i was trying to stay away from the hottest of their items and I'm not a lover of paneer/spinach. For dessert, in addition to fruit, they also had fried dough balls in syrup and several rice pudding like options. They also have a machine for their mango soft serve ice cream. Forgot to mention that they have a bit of salad, and a couple soupy stews. There are sauces -- including the sweet tamarind one that i prefer -- with various levels of spice. Although the buffet is self service, the other service was quite good. We were warmly welcomed and shown to a booth. We were given a choice of water or other drinks. So happy that I found this place, first the staff was incredibly friendly, they were playing a cricket match on TV and the staff explained to everyone who asked what was going on. The game wasn't on too loudly but just so you could hear it which was perfect! The food was some of the better Indian food I've had since moving to south Florida. Was busy and missed breakfast. By 1.30 famished. Typed in buffet near me. On the hunt for Chinese or Indian. This was the closest. It's been months between enjoying some of my favorite dishes of all time. And I was going to make them pay! Upon entering was pleasantly greeted and seated. Just then a Meet Up group for ethnic foods began to filter in. At least 20 folks so I rushed to beat the line. These people were a very cool bunch, with name tags, and we exchanged some lighthearted bantering. This is a group I could join. The two long tables of food had numerous dishes and thankfully all the bins were pretty full. I got to sample everything that appealed to me. My waiter was attentive and asked me a couple times if I needed anything. Water always my preferred drink is served in a large glass bottle. I was told its filtered and it indeed have a clean taste or no taste which was refreshing. More than a few establishments use tap which is real turnoff and potential meal killer in my book. Not in any order, mushroom masala and chicken tika masala were great and the butter naan dipped into the sauce is a real pleasure. I loved the curry leaf chicken, and the chicken tandoori was perfectly cooked and moist not dried out like I've experienced at other buffets. Goat curry was also great as it had plenty of meat on the bone. Other things eaten, basmati rice very nice, assorted Bujji, samba, paneer masala, cabbage sukle? It was hard to read the tags... anyways this meal did me for the whole day and then some and was only $18! In an age where a McDonalds meal is like $10, a good sub is over $12 +, this festival of Indian food delights is a steal. If you want to get it out of your system, this will do it. Finally found an Indian buffet again! After the pandemic, all my usual Indian buffet spots like Woodlands and the Palace stopped doing buffet dining and I was devastated. I love having the option to try many different entrees in smaller portions and the Indian buffets were perfect for me. But now I have found 5th Element and thank goodness it's also close to my house. The service and staff were friendly, fast and very quick to help. I arrived with high hopes and there were pros and cons of this buffet option. They had a lot of hot and cold options, meat and vegetarian food on two different sides which is convenient for vegetarians. There's dessert and tea in the back and a dosa station. It comes as a plain potato dosa and there's topping options like onions and sauces on a table across from it. There's samosa and topping, lots of chicken, goat and paneer choices. My favorite was this fried veggie dish Tindora fry, very unique. All the curries and masala dishes were a bit on the watery side. I prefer it a little thicker for the sauce but the flavors were great. I went back for the Chana masala (chickpea) many times. Also loved having papadum and though the Naan was not garlic Naan, it was plain Naan but still soft and fluffy. Everything was hot and fresh. The gulab jamun was amazing. I think this place is a GREAT find. Maybe a bit difficult to locate, but it's away from the clutter of Atlantic Ave & some other congested areas of Delray. The food was delicious! We did the lunch buffet & added on the onion naan from the a la carte menu. I'm not a big buffet person in general, but they have a great staff that keeps everything clean & stocked. The staff was super attentive overall & just very friendly & welcoming. Even though we were there somewhat late for the lunch hours, they were still on point & kept playing the cool Indian music videos that contributed to the atmosphere & cultural experience. The Orphans finally made it to the 5th EIB in Delray Beach which for me makes all 3 of their Florida venues! We came by today for the lunch buffet and when we arrived there were only a few tables that were occupied and the place quickly filled up with a lot of folks from the motherland which is always a good sign. As buffets go the food was good but unfortunately when we got there some of the dishes that were put out had dried out like the Chicken 65 and the Biryani. We ate it anyway and soon after that all the fresh refills turned up lol! The flavors however were spot on especially our all time favorite the Mango ice cream!! For all my Vegetarian Yelpers there is a completely separate vegetarian buffet spread which I am sure you all would enjoy as it had over 15+ selections on a weekday which was quite impressive! The place was well set up and clean appearing (pics below) and there wasn't any loud music playing which was a plus. The service was very polite and efficient which is always a plus. Service is friendly, this restaurant is a bit more roomier and pleasant than Pompano.
