From the moment you arrive at Bourbon Steak, you know you're about to experience something special. We came before a concert at Arts Garage, and dinner was nothing short of exquisite. I didn't have a reservation, but the concierge promptly looked up my phone number, recognized that I had dined there previously, and seated us right away. The atmosphere at Bourbon Steak is one part speakeasy and three parts sophistication, creating an elegant and classy dining experience. I'm not a big alcohol drinker, and although I was tempted on this occasion, we decided to skip the libations. For dinner, we ordered the Caesar salad, Brussels sprouts, salmon, and a filet mignon cooked medium. Everything was delicious, but the filet was absolutely magnificent! 100 out of 10! It was perfection. To make the experience even better, we were treated to complimentary truffle bread and duck-fat frites. The frites are absolutely a must-try and worth ordering with any meal. We didn't have enough time for dessert because we were running a little late after thoroughly enjoying our dinner. Honestly, that's a pretty good reason to skip dessert! I'm a little late giving bourbon steak a review. This restaurant is located inside the Seagate hotel on Atlantic Avenue Delray Beach. The food is absolutely amazing --instead of bread they bring out french fries fried in duck fat with three kinds of sauces, beyond unbelievable. I could've made a meal out of that. The room itself is absolutely gorgeous. Old steakhouse wood, modern, beautiful. Our server Big Kev was an absolute delight. Every bite was a burst of flavors .For the meal I ordered the Angus Wagyu 8 oz filet with a side sauce of horseradish cream (sorry not sorry I'm a dipper no matter how great the steaks are) but it was quite perfect on its own and brought to the table exactly as ordered with an a la carte crispy brussels side with a honey mustard sauce. The ceaser salad and salmon were exceptional also . Do not check the price just order the meal because you won't be disappointed with anything! The first time I visited this place, I was blown away. The ambiance was beautiful, the service was excellent, and the overall experience left a great impression on me. I recently returned for an event that was hosted by a separate group. We started with a veggie platter, followed by steak and challah bread. The steak was okay, but it didn't wow me the way the food did during my first visit. We were also served mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts, which were fine but nothing particularly memorable. One of the things I was most looking forward to was dessert. The beignets were supposed to be served with three different dipping sauces, which sounded like a fun way to try a variety of flavors. Unfortunately, they were all brought out with the same flavor instead. It may seem like a small detail, but it was a little disappointing since it wasn't what had been advertised. Overall, I enjoyed the event itself and had a nice time with the people I was there with, but the food and dining experience didn't live up to my first visit. While I'm glad I went, this visit didn't leave the same impression as my first one, and I'm not sure I'll be rushing back anytime soon read more

Amazing experience and delicious food! We came for dinner last night and had a great time. Started off with some fabulous cocktails (Clear Skies and Silk Road), then enjoyed the fries trio that is served to every table in lieu of the traditional bread basket. Three different flavor fries with three different accompanying dip. We also tried the black truffle butter bread - to die for! For appetizer, we tried the wagyu hot stone, such a fun way to try an incredible cut of meat, and the hamachi, so flavorful. For dinner we shared the A5 NY Strip Kagoshima with a side of black truffle mac & cheese. Wade was our server and he was so knowledgeable about the different cuts of steak they offer. He really took the time to explain everything well and we loved his energy! We had no room for dessert, however plan to come back for the caviar Twinkie and beignets! We started with cocktails, a perfectly prepared old fashioned, and a Kentucky Creed. The roasted corn soup was loaded with crab meat. The filets, served with a broiled, horseradish crusted tomato, were perfectly cooked albeit a little salty and the truffle mac and cheese was loaded with creamy goodness. We opted for dessert and shared the banana tarte tartan. Good choice. Banana tartan with macadamia nut ice cream and caramel sauce. Yum. Much like the food the service was excellent. Our server, Perfect, by name and performance,was friendly, informative, and attentive, checking in frequently without hovering. I have to say, Wade made this easily one of my best dining experiences. He had incredible knowledge of the menu. After a couple of his recommendations hit, we basically deferred to him for the rest of the dinner--and he didn't miss, not once. The New York strip was excellent and the Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes were the perfect. We started with martinis, which were excellent, though I was disappointed to find that the blue cheese olives are pre-made rather than house-stuffed. For a steakhouse of this caliber, a fresh, homemade blue cheese olive feels like a detail worth investing in. The food itself was delicious, with the clear standout being the lobster pot pie. The flavor was incredible, and we savored every bite. While the presentation is impressive, there's a bit of a letdown when you crack through the beautiful crust and discover a large air pocket. A more generous filling would make this dish truly exceptional. Unfortunately, the service didn't match the quality of the food. Food runners dropped dishes at the table with little interaction, our server checked on us several minutes later, and then disappeared for more than 20 minutes. Attentive service is part of what you're paying for at this price point, and it simply wasn't there during our visit. Overall, Bourbon Steak has some outstanding dishes and expertly crafted cocktails, but inconsistent service and overlooked details kept the experience from living up to its full potential. read more

So much expectation but didn't meet the bare minimum. Came to celebrate my sister's birthday, for all the hype and the price, maybe check another steakhouse. Starting from the basic as a tartare and a crudo. Both 2/10, bland, no flavor. Tartare so dry, didn't even taste the egg yolk. Crudo was the simplest most unseasoned dish ive had. Avoid Ribeye was ok, 7/10. Tender but not something i woke up dreaming from. Spinach and mac and cheese side were good accompaniments, however, the spinach was really greasy. 6/10 Little side of fries while we were waiting for wine were really crispy and fresh! 10/10 Dessert and service by Josh saved it from an early night. Okay. A review with words will not even give this place the justice it deserves. 5 stars? How about 5 MILLION stars!!! Mom and I came to Bourbon Steak to celebrate her birthday and it was just delightful from start to finish. We pulled up to valet at the Seagate hotel on Venetian as Bourbon steak provides complimentary valet services for their dinner guests. When you show the hostess the number that was given to you in text form from the valet, they will validate your parking. They gave my mom the cutest birthday card that all of the Bourbon staff signed that she got to take home. My mom and I sat in a cozy, quiet booth on the left side of the restaurant. 5:30pm was perfect for us because it was right before the dinner rush. Wade was our waiter and I'm being EXTREMELY honest, but he actually was the best server I've ever had. Hands down. He constantly went the extra mile and his kindness was greatly appreciated. I ordered the Emerald breeze which consisted of tequila, kiwi, lime and agave. I asked Wade if he could bring me the "skinny" version, which it most definitely was. We started off with the wedge salad which was absolutely amazing. Every ingredient was fresh to taste. This is my favorite salad order whenever I go out to eat. It was a nice touch that the restaurant offered to chop it up for you and mix everything together. The truffle bread is a MUST!!!!!! Do not even question it. You have to order this. The chefs inject the brioche with the truffle & butter and it is beyond delicious. So warm and soft. For my main course, I ordered the Wagyu hot stone which was unique in that you are given a few slices of Wagyu that you get to "cook" with chopsticks for 10 seconds each side on a stone slab that is included on your plate. Unfortunately, my slab wasn't oiled properly the first time around so all of the meat was sticking to it and I couldn't remove it from the slab. Wade immediately solved this by taking the plate back to the kitchen and replacing it with a new plate where the hot stone slab was freshly oiled. I truly didn't even care about this hiccup as the service was just continually phenomenal all around. For sides, we ordered the Brussels sprouts and the mushrooms which paired really well with the Wagyu. Truly, a 10/10 experience. From start to finish, from the valet, to the food quality, to the service here at Bourbon Steak. I applaud you all and thank you for making my mom's birthday so incredibly special. read more

It came with the malton sea salt butter- 10/10. For dinner I ordered the center cut filet mignon and the potato puree; the potatoes were creamy & rich, the filet was tender & juicy, seasoned to perfection. Would love to go back and try the lobster "roll" (beignet) or the caviar "Twinkie". Service was attentive and friendly, helping us celebrate a birthday! Best steakhouse in Delray. Tender, juicy, and perfect amount of salty goodness. Slowly learning about Wagyu. Everytime I have it I swear it's the best melt in your mouth like butter steak. Very rich flavor for a very big splurg! Eat slowly to enjoy every oz. Fried brussels sprouts and the honey mustard - love it 100 times over. Could have licked the plate. Brussels fried to the darkest carmelized nutty rose with no bitterness. You will be full but you gotta have dessert. The bruleed cheesecake was perfect without the strawberries. The old fashions were perfectly made and we would have stayed with the bartender Matthew but preferred to look across from one another. The bar is luxurious. We started with the duck fat fries, truffle, garlic, and herb, and bourbon with different sauces. The truffle fries were my fav. The apple salad was refreshing and I highly recommend it if you like savory. We had the caviar "twinkie" the caviar was amazing but I think there was too much corn. They could make a smaller corn size so the corn doesn't overpower the caviar. The lighting is perfect and the seats are comfortable. Bourbon steak is an overpriced hotel lobby restaurant. I would have loved to have something better to say about it, but honestly some of the cool art on the walls was the best part of the meal. The server was nice enough and skillfully delivered the speech on the specials, but again the prices were really high, and I don't mind spending on a nice meal, but I just wasn't getting the vibes this was the place to make that choice. I ended up going with the ceviche which the server said was one of his favorites and the chefs special. It was artistically plated...but not tasty (except for the corn foam around the bottom). You know how sometimes you smell something and know how it would taste just by smell. And you know that PineSol cleaner smell...well that's what the ceviche tasted like. Expensive but OMG this is a real good one! Didn't realize the valet parking the valet parking for the hotel which was around the block. It is close to, but not on the ocean. Let's just say the food was nothing short of exceptional! Their 16 ounce Delmonico steak was to die for, a generous portion and my wife and I brought home leftovers. The strip was there warm truffle bread, a large amount with truffle butter and of course we brought some of that home. Their trio of exotic fries had three different sauces and all where you guessed it exceptional my wife and I chose the Apple salad with the three types of lettuce, cheddar, and maple pecan . We also had a tuna to upgrade with pinenuts. To end it all with dessert we had a Brulé basket cheesecake with strawberries. Generous portions and we had a nice bag of leftovers to bring home. My first observation when we walked into Bourbon Steak was that we had entered a time warp, and entered a 1960's style supper club. It is very comfortable and inviting. Our server, Perfect, was ... perfect. He explained everything, including his favorites. He was friendly and helpful, and provided great service. The food was outstanding: The Caesar salad was perfectly dressed and a nice crumble replaced the "standard" crouton. My Summer Corn Soup so good that I finished it before remembering to take a picture (thankfully the gentleman sitting at the next table let me take one of his ). Our steaks were perfectly cooked and tender - the seasoning was a hair too salty for our tastes, and the mashed potatoes and crispy Brussel sprouts outstanding. This was my second time dining at The Seagate Hotel, but my first under the new stewardship of Michael Mina at Bourbon Steak. From the start we were greeted by a professional valet, received a warm personable hostess greeting, waited on by superior waitstaff service and then served high-quality food with interesting plate presentations this added up to a really nice enjoyable evening. Starting with the Amuse Bouche it was "Mouth Amusing" as we were served 3 decent sized portions of Duck Fat Fried French Fries (Paprika, Herb & Truffle) accompanied with 3 different sauces (BBQ, Catsup & Truffle) All restaurants could learn from this simple but delicious presentation. Our Appetizers were awesome. Crab & Corn soup was decadent and rich, while the Apple Salad was perfect for summer. As this was a Summer Special ($75), only 3 entrees were available. (Steak, Fish, Chicken). We had the Filet which was undercooked when served and had to be re-fired to medium. When I did get to try, it tasted great. The Sea Bass was crispy on the top, delicious throughout and served with a light sauce surrounding it. The accompanying sides of Brussel Sprouts we found crispy and tasty but too sweet. However, the Creamed Spinach was the finest example of any Steakhouse side that I have ever tasted. Next Level - Marvelous! The menu offered 2 desserts: Cheesecake (which we took home) and the Beignets which we devoured on-site. Those came with an Amazing Macallan Single Malt Scotch Butterscotch pudding and it was the best version of a Butterscotch Pudding I have ever had... Incredible. I'd return for just a jar of that ! So, by now you can see that this was a 9.0+ experience and very worthy of MM's Michelin Star rating. However, there were a few things that could use a further review : 1. The Cocktail & Wine Pricing is Buyer Beware. The Balvenie 12 yr. at over $30 is crazy high.. Pappy 12yr... at $120 Hilarious. The Belle & Glos P. Noir BTG at $28 is ridiculous. 2. The Glassware for water is weak, it's glass not crystal. Surprising. 3. The Wine Pour sure looks like light - possibly 4oz. (See attached pix) 4. The dining room chairs are not that comfortable...they have no arms ! ... Underwhelmed 5. The refurbished surroundings don't feel premium and kind of have that Las Vegas coffee shop feel... sorry :( 6. I saw multiple diners wearing SHORTS inside, some straight from the beach... Not Cool here... even if you hide them in the corner. Nonetheless, if you have No budget, Enjoy Fine Dining and want a Michelin Level Experience in Delray then this is a great place to start and one which I would highly recommend encountering. read more

For appetizers, we chose the Caesar salad and the summer corn soup, both absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. By this point, we couldn't wait for the main course and it did not disappoint. I ordered the sea bass, which can be a hit or miss for me, but this one was a definite hit. Every bite flavorful, with a delicate gravy and crunch that brought it all together. Even though we were full, dessert was a must. We shared the strawberry cheesecake and the beignets, neither too sweet, both the perfect ending to our meal. Just when we thought the evening couldn't get better, our two wonderful servers surprised us with a little to go bag of caramelized popcorn. They kind of prepare it tableside which was like stirring tiny tuna scraps with some finely chopped veggies and seasonings. I guess he's going for no taste as that's exactly what it was Onto the dinner We also got the A5 Waygu Hot Stone and Chilean Sea Bass. I had heard so many good things about the waygu and was ready - however another disappointment. It was so thin as it's only 2oz. My date liked the sea bass but was not a wow. I almost forgot - the creamed spinach. Disgusting. Seriously was like milk and mush. Interestingly I got an email from the restaurant GM and he didn't reply to my response so maybe his email is full. First off Big Kev's passion for our cocktails "Mezcal Old Fashions" that were made directly at the table by Kevin himself, not the bartender, were a show in and of itself. The passion he displayed detailing the menu was undeniably the most professional explanation of food ever. Being from Colorado we have had very good "farm to table" meat, tonight beat the best we have ever had. Every dish that came to our table was impeccably plated and delicious like you would see in a fine dining magazine. I have to say this was one of the best Wagyu steaks I have ever had! My wife's Sea bass was perfectly prepared and melted in your mouth like butter. Every dish that landed on the table was just as mouth watering as the next. We started off with bacon wrapped scallops that we shared.. they only give you 2.. It was good..Then instead of bread, they give you a French fries trio..one was smoked paprika which was very spicy, the other was truffle and the third was regular fries sauces were good.. for our entree we both had the Chilean sea bass with asparagus.. it's like a where's Waldo on the asparagus .. it was very good, but portions were small for the prices..overall, the place was dark and very loud and sooo noisy, not a good place for conversation.. This time we got the 8oz center cut filet medium rare which was cooked perfectly. I like the creamed spinach side, and the brewed iced tea with simple syrup. The was my first time at Bourbon Steak. My husband and I came for a romantic night out. The entrance to the restaurant is beautiful. Brooke, the hostess, greeted us warmly and started off our experience on a great note. Our server, Big Kev, arrived to our table quickly. We ordered from the Summer "Secret" Menu. This menu includes an Amuse Bouche, Appetizer, Entree, a side, and a dessert. I ordered a glass of the Yantra Super Tuscan. I loved that it came out chilled. It went perfectly with the meal. The Amuse Bouche was the Trio of Duck Fat Fries. The fries included smoked paprika with a spicy barbecue sauce, duck fat fries with house made ketchup, and truffle fries with a garlic aioli. They were delicious and very filling. For our appetizers, we ordered Petit Romaine Cesar salad and the Bacon-Wrapped Scallops. The presentation of the Cesar salad was really cool. Check out the included photo. My husband said the scallops were cooked to perfection with a nice consistency with a tasty sauce. For our entrees, we ordered the 8 oz. center-cut medium well filet mignon and the 16 oz. Delmonico Ribeye. The filet was cooked perfectly and was super tender. I ordered the whipped potatoes and we shared fried Brussels sprouts. My husband said the ribeye was excellent. He also ordered the echire butter creamed spinach. We were so full by that point, that we had plenty left over for another meal. We, of course, saved room for dessert. What can I say. Everything was amazing. They brought out a trio of fries with different sauces that were delicious. I really liked thd truffle fries with truffle sauce. I opted to upgrade to the Delmonico. I asked med rare and it came out the temperature I requested. Whipped potatoes and Brussels sprouts for sides. Enough to share which we did. We got both desserts. And the smores Martini. The restaurant was very nice. Looks like a cool, hip place to go and sit at thd bar. All the wait staff was amazing. Our waitress Tracy was amazing and attentive. She gave suggestions and good descriptions of menu items. It was a really great night. read more

A new Restaurant at the Seagate Hotel. Definitely a date night out. You will not be rushed. The setting is pleasant & relaxing. No kids!! I had the Apple salad that was delicious & refreshing, I really enjoyed it !! Chilean Bass was cooked perfectly but was salty. Cream of spinach was enough for 2 people.
