Not everyone is into buffets, but if you're into good home-cooked, all you can eat food, The Carving Station is a great place to go if you're in the Palm Beach Gardens, North Palm Beach, Jupiter area. Old-school salad bar with all the sides, delicious soup, plenty of vegetables and a plethora of meats to choose from, including beef, lamb, schnitzel, chicken, turkey and more! Did I mention dessert?!

This Lake Park staple has been serving all you can eat home style food for the past 35 years. The owner who is Greek used to be the chef for Holiday House, a chain of now closed buffet restaurants that started in Deland in the 1950's. When Holiday House closed Spiros Lorenjatos opened the Carving Station Buffet We went for a drive along the beach on Saturday and ended up in this area around dinner time so we decided to stop in. I had passed it many times before and was always curious to try it. The inside is quaint and reminds you of vintage Florida with the map placemats and turquoise yellow color scheme. As soon as we entered we were invited to help ourselves to the fresh salad bar that included fresh and crisp vegetables, fruit, and cold salads like coleslaw and macaroni salad. In this area there were also two kinds of soup. When we sat down they brought out warm complimentary garlic bread dripping in butter. It was so good we ordered another loaf. Dinner is all you care to eat of carved meat and hot and cold dishes. During our visit there were carving leg of lamb, ham, turkey, and roast beef. There was also jerk chicken, Chicken Francese, spaghetti, pulled pork, baked tilapia, shepherd's pie, macaroni and cheese, rice, green beans, corn, beans, collared greens, carrots, sweet potatoes, cabbage. stuffing, and more. The food isn't fancy, think along the lines of what your American grandmother would make for a holiday dinner but everything I tried was good. Our server was Kathleen Mei who was so sweet and attentive. She was a highlight of the visit. Drinks are included with the buffet price of $18.69 for dinner. The included desserts were a rice pudding, Jello with fruit, and an apple salad. For an additional $5 you can get a massive slice of one of their house baked cakes. It was tempting but we were really full at that point so we stuck to the refreshing jello and fruit. It is sad that this kind of buffet has faded out of the Florida's culinary landscape. You are much more likely to find and all you can eat Chinese buffet. If you miss going to Morrison's and Piicadilly for comfort food, this restaurant evokes the same kind of vibe. They are also open 365 days a year. How many places can say that?

Visited this establishment today with my family including my 89 year old grandma. I was truly appalled by the service. The manager was very rude and disrespectful. There was a mix up and our number was called prematurely to enter the restaurant and enjoy the buffet. We were then told we needed to go outside and wait. Once we finally made it inside I noticed that there were flies circling around the food area - gross! And to top it off, the food was luke warm. Also there are rat trap outside. This definitely seems to be some sort of health code violation. I will not be returning.

9.2/10 This South Florida carving station buffet hits perfectly -- juicy roast beef and turkey carved fresh, tender inside with that golden edge. The staff serve with care, portions are generous, and the flavor feels homemade but upscale. Warm lighting and tropical charm make it feel like vacation dining done right.

Local favorite, fresh hot food items. Buffet includes salad bar and soups. Good selection of salad items, was clean, salad was fresh no issues. Homemade soups. The beef barley and chicken noodle god stuff Some of the items for lunch, included different types of chicken, fried, baked, jerked and chicken Frances's, fav. There's a fish item, carved ham, beef and turkey and side items mashed potatoes, Mac and Cheese, veggies and more. good home cooked food at a good value. You can get some nice desserts at additional price. Staff are friendly and helpful.

At $38.99 per person before drinks, this is not an inexpensive meal. The food was average and didn't stand out enough to justify the price. The conveyor belt filled with vegetables, noodles, and other ingredients is visually appealing, but I noticed the items were left uncovered as they circulated throughout the dining room. While the presentation looks nice, it raised concerns for me about exposure within a busy restaurant environment. The biggest issue, however, was the overall atmosphere. During both visits, there was a noticeable mildew-like odor throughout the restaurant. I also noticed smells that appeared to be coming from cleaning products and nearby restrooms, which took away from the dining experience. After giving this restaurant two opportunities, I can confidently say I won't be returning. The concept is interesting, but the average food quality, pricing, and overall dining environment did not meet my expectations. I'm new to Florida and hopeful there are better hot pot restaurants in the area.

All rolls tasted fresh and well seasoned. I would not order the dumplings or the toro sashimi again. The filling in the dumplings was bland and mushy, while the toro sashimi was weirdly cut. It's usually the melt-in-your-mouth tuna, but instead it was meaty in a bad way. The calamari was just okay. Restaurant was big, spacious, and clean. It was my first time trying an all-you-can-eat restaurant where everything is made to order and brought to your table instead of the traditional buffet. You pay one fixed price, then everyone just keeps ordering until they're completely full. The sushi selection is extensive, along with a variety of other dishes, although you probably won't need much else. Plate after plate of sushi keeps arriving at your table, freshly made, incredibly fresh, and cut to order. I really disliked the tempura roll, it was mushy, it felt like a warm purée instead of a roll. Go hungry--you definitely won't regret it. The service was very good, and while the restaurant itself isn't particularly memorable, it's clean and pleasant. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the seating. Some booths are placed very close together, so instead of feeling like we had a private table for three, it almost felt like we were sharing one long table with nine people.

We started by choosing our base. My husband had the tom yum (kha?) one and our granddaughter had the classic and I chose the chicken one. My base started out a bit salty, but after all the additions it was perfect -- no need to add extra soy or salt to the broth. For sauces I chose two standards -- hoisin sauce and a mix i made of some soy sauce and vinegar (which I used for the dumplings). At our leisure -- it's all you can eat -- we tried many of the offerings. We skipped most of the exotic ones -- except my husband who happens to like chicken feet. I went for the seafood first. And liked most of what I chose, especially the large prawns which were my favorite. And I also really liked the rounds of shrimp paste. The clams were tiny, but good. The blue crabs were small and awkward to eat when so hot. I'd skip them next time. I also tried some beef and pork, but found the seafood options more to my liking. Of the veggies, I had a mix just to try a number of things. The baby bok choy leaves, the cabbage, and the bean sprouts were good, but I fell in love with those tiny little enoki mushrooms. My least faves were the taro and the hard squash For dessert, they also have fresh fruit (cherries, etc.) and cake squares on the buffet. And a separate ice cream bar. I liked their green tea ice cream the best. We were so stuffed when we left. But happy campers. We felt the price of the AYCE was well worth it here. We'd definitely come again. I think it's more fun with a group.

(FYI I'm judging this based on other buffets at the same price point in the area) The food: All the food is better than any lower end price buffet. Not nearly as greasy as what I could order, sushi is basic but didn't smell fishy but I only stuck to the non-raw rolls, no need to test my luck. I really love the Crab Rangoon, very full with filling and slightly sweet like cream cheese. Nothing really stuck out, everything was what you could order from a Chinese restaurant but, once again, way less greasy than ordering which always gives me a stomach ache. I always order green tea there and I never expect much, there is the basic bag of tea in the metal pot. But unfortunately it taste like they could use a couple more bags as it is very water down and the tap water they use doesn't taste so good. Covid/Cleanliness: All staff is wearing masks, restaurant is not dirty, seats and tables are wiped off after every use. There's nothing really I can complain about here, it's about as clean as any buffet I've ever been to in the same price range. Over the couple of times I've been there, I've never seen any bugs. Staff: The staff is particularly friendly, as I stated above all are wearing masks. Throughout my stay my waitress was very nice and attentive. My water cup never hit the bottom as she was always filling it up. I've been there both in a busy time for dinner and slow time for lunch and I can say that both times I was waited on equally as well. Overall, I really like this buffet and it's one of the buffets that I pick for lunch when I go out. I can always trust that it won't give me a stomach ache and I won't go broke filling my stomach. I wouldn't recommend going for dinner, I've only been once but for the price (around $35-40 for two) and how packed they get it's not really worth it. Additionally, as many other buffets in the area, the crab legs are boiled in plain water and they're not really appetizing. So if that's the only reason you want to go for dinner, skip it.
