They had a BBQ at our building in Long Branch. Limited menu which is fine, quality and quantity of the food was good but I was very disappointed in the way they prepared it in open view. Not everyone wore gloves when handling the food and cooking on grill. Even when they wore the gloves, they were touching the food directly with their hands and wiping their hands on a small hand towel. The woman that wasn't wearing gloves, used her hands and a spatula to flip the Hit dog, wipe them on the hand towel and then scratch an itch on her nose. When she was told the hot dogs are not done yet, her response was "they are hot on the inside". After watching the way they cook, I would never eat anything from them again or at their restaurant. read more

OK! Wow! What an experience! I'm mad at myself for not coming to this place sooner!! From the top notch service, the lovely hospitable waitresses and the delicious food, I'm shocked I'd never heard of this hidden gem! Imagine tasting a chicken soup and wishing you could take it home! The pulled beef perfectly spiced, the chicken marsala with fresh mushrooms and wine, the cowboy steak came so beautifully presented, it was a shame to eat! The desserts, all 3, top of the line. My wife and I were looking forward to a special night out. Unfortunately we picked the wrong place. What a disappointment! We were seated right by the kitchen in an area that did not allow for a private conversation. The tables were situated so close that you were basically interrupting your neighbors conversation every time you started to speak. The service was disappointing to say the least. Our waiter came to take our order before we even had a chance to open our menus. He did not offer to tell us about the specials or for that matter anything else. He came back within two minutes to take our order. Two of the items we wanted were not available. He did not offer recommendations or assistance in finding alternatives. Our food came out pretty quickly. For an appetizer I ordered the red snapper spicy tacos and my wife ordered the half and half salad. The tacos were extremely fishy in taste and I believe something wasn't right with it. The half in half salad was really good. Then when our main course came out, our waiter was nowhere to be found, just like the missing vegetables from our plate! See photo of my plate.. We asked 3 people, none of which was our waiter, they tried to tell us it was either the mashed potatoes or the vegetable.. ie no greens.. Really??! How do you plate that without any color?! Well we started eating and just had to validate that we aren't going crazy. Since no one was around to call over, I went to get the menu myself, only to confirm what we already knew, and that was it was supposed to have both! We then were finally able to call over the person who told us it was either or not both.. See photo.. He took it in the kitchen and came back stating it will be right out... It never came.. Seems like they ran out of BROCCOLI!! Yet couldn't give us the courtesy if stating that, let alone apologize. We finally saw our waiter again... When he brought over the check.. And then we realized why the service was so lousy.. They automatically include the tip without the option to remove it.. Even though we reduced the tip but the waiter ignored it and without any comment, charged the card for the full amount. In short, find another steakhouse! read more

My boyfriend and I came here on a Sunday night. We were seated toward the back of the restaurant. It took our waiter half an hour to take our order even though other tables who were seated after us had already received their food. We ordered wine, a spicy tuna roll, and two entrees. We waited for what seemed like an eternity and attempted to get the attention of multiple server. The server who had taken out order did not bother to check up on us or seen to notice that other tables had come and gone before we had spoken two words to him let alone received any food. Finally, we had enough. We paid for our wine, told our server we were leaving and cut our losses at over 2 hours wasted. We have never had such poor service before and will never return to this establishment. read more

We ordered spring rolls for an appetizer, with a price of $14.00 you would think it's fresh and made to order, again Wrong, frozen out of a box. two small pieces cut in half. Go to the the frozen section in the supper market and you can get the same item 12 pieces for $3.89. Everything was WRONG that evening. Even the management. They still tried to hit me with a 18% gratuity on the total bill after we returned to the kitchen the main dishes for a full refund. We will not return there again. read more

Absolutely the best food and worst service I have ever experienced. The food was out of this world. Waiting 45 minutes for a soup is awful. The wait service was well named, you WAIT. Every single item had to be requested at least twice. When I asked for ketchup with the main, I was almost finished when I told the waiter I wanted the ketchup now, not for dessert. Great food! Friendly attentive servers. Recommend going midweek for a more relax atmosphere. We have been there on a Tuesday and a Thursday, and it was much calmer on the Tuesday. We always have the nachos which are incredible, my wife loves pasta franchise, which is enough for lunch the next day, and I had the 20 oz rib stake that was delicious. We walked in sat down someone threw two menus at us and basically ran away did not explain the menu or tell us anything about specials tonight or anything about the restaurant as were looking at the menus trying to figure it out we hear curses and screaming and shouting from behind us I believe the noise was coming from the kitchen because the kitchen door was not closed someone stop by our table and asked how everything is going I told her things were not going well there's cursing and screaming from behind us and we're trying to relax so she recommended that we move to a different table and we did oh I forgot to mention they did not offer a wine menu as we sat down we had to request it as we were sitting at the second table and got more of a professional waitresses sweet older woman which looks like she had a lot more experience than the first 16-year-old that was serving us I must say my company love the lamb chops I ordered the fillet mignon but I believe it was frozen and defrosted you can tell by the excess water that's dripping out of it as an ex Chef you can definitely tell then when the bill came the bill had included in it 18% gratuity which I do find a little interesting but we had no problem paying it although we didn't feel that we should pay any gratuity but then something unbelievable happen when we received our receipt to sign it said on top of the signature tip so I asked the waitress was the tip included already 18% in the previous bill that you showed me she said oh it must've fallen out so basically they wanted me to take besides the 18% another 18% which is pretty scary now that the decor of the restaurant was nothing to write home about there was literally dirt visible dirt on the walls and several flies around the area and on the table Our total bill was $155 would we recommend going back sadly to say I would have to say no but I want to recommend there bar which is called stingers would you get more bucks for your money and actually the hamburgers a great so sadly to say they can manage a bar better than a restaurant read more
