We were looking for some Mediterranean food and boy we're so glad that we checked reviews and came to the best place tonight. Food was excellent and the service was superb. We had a mixed Appetizer platter (large) and so glad it was more than enough for the four of us. The Doner and Tavuk combo platter was on point and the Kebop platter was excellent. Had a fabulous meal at Turquaz! Every thing we ordered was a culinary delight. Perfectly prepared, plated and presented! It is so enjoyable to have a cuisine that is a little out of the ordinary, Italian, burgers, etc. The service was first class . It is a lovely couple who owns this restaurant . They were more than accommodating . The atmosphere is very pleasant, elegant black tablecloths in a casual setting which includes both indoor and outdoor dining. Don't take a pass on this new gem! For anyone interested in great Mediterranean food and warm, hospitable service in Bradley Beach, this place is a must. This small but prettily decorated space, tucked away just off Main Street behind the immensely popular CBO, had absolutely amazing apps, incredibly delicious tomato and feta salad, the best hummus we have ever had, and generously portioned entrees. Address is incorrect to start with, it is not on Main St., it's on a side street off Main St. Wait staff spoke no english and could not understand how to open a wine bottle that had an opening like Champagne. Just a cage & cork to pull out. My hands were slippery & I asked for assistance. Food was below basic in taste and appearance. Waitstaff appeared to have never performed the job. Once our blah food arrived, 45 mins later I had to get their attention to settle the bill. Never did any staff come by our table to ask how the meal was or offer more water. Please do not go to this place...., complete waste of money. read more

Very good food and generous portions at great price. Wasn't sure what to expect when first arrived but it met and exceeded our expectations across the board. Seems to be owned by a family and they were all super attentive and friendly. Even brought us a free appetizer. Can't say enough good things, will definitely be back.
