Service was good. The place was clean but the food was very bland. Not bad just bland. It's like they didn't even cook with salt.

I decided to stay with the Mexican food theme. I had a taco, an enchilada, and a chile relleno. Everything was good! I haven't had a good chile relleon in a long time, and this one was good. The sauce was good on the enchilada. Everything was good. I had a tickle in my throat, and the chile was a bit spicy and made me cough, but it was good. I enjoyed the food and the company. If I am in the area again I will come back.

The restrooms were retro, very 90s, run down but clean, and if I was running from the Sinaloa Cartel...I could picture myself hiding in a place like this. Almost like a mix between the films Memento and Breaking Bad. But yes, Lisa's Grill. I had to stop in at this Southwestern Flare Diner! It's situated inside the truck stop, with a very 70s & 80s atomic age diners vibe like that one scene in the Kingsmen movie. Loved the ceiling, bold colored red, glossy, with silver...makes Johnny Rockets look artificial. So I had to try their top picks on the menu. The Red Rooster -- country fried steak with red hot sauce, and their hatch chilli burgers. The food was ok, Id probably rate a 3.5/5. Menu is heavily influenced by Spanish cuisine. If your looking for a quick breakfast along route 66 in Central New Mexico, this is a good spot to take a break. Overall service, environment food I'd give it a 4/5. Seems pretty popular amongst the locals, and place is pretty packed for a lunch run. Yea, definitely come check it out!

All Roads Cafe popped up on Yelp and we thought, "what the heck?" Turns out, this is a hidden gem! This is a splendid sandwich shop sits at the end of a small plaza, and the ever-changing menu means that you won't get bored ordering the same dried out turkey whatever thingy. I sadly don't remember what sandwiches we ordered (the perils of doing a Yelp review almost a month later), but suffice to say that we didn't leave a single crumb behind. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was a fun locals vibe.

I'm sorry to say that this place has gone from one of my favorites to a "no go"…read more I've been stopping here for as long as I can remember and always looked forward to great food and good service... this evening, I recieved neither. It disapointing when one of your favorite places becomes "just another place". I'm my humble opinion, Lisa's was much better off when it was just a hole-in-the-wall mom and pop truck stop.. it had a charm that actually made me willing to wait patiently for one of the six tables and have an amazing meal. Now that they added on a considerable sized addition,it seems that the folks at Lisa's care more about being BIG than better. I refuse to be treated improperly by anyone who want me to spend my hard earned money in their establishment and it started when it tokl a full 15 minutes for the server to even acknowledge my buddy Richard and I. I ordered a chef salad and an enchilada plate and was told that I couldn't have my salad first and they in fact came out at the same time, on paper plates... with cheap plastic utensils. I can honestly say, If I wanted to eat on paper plates, I could've had a better meal by warming up something in the microwave in the truck. I hope the folks at Lisa's Truck Center create whatever it is they are trying to turn this once beloved stop in to, but they will have to do it without my patronage. I wish you the best.

My husband had just the egg white, bell pepper, hashbrown burrito he doctored it up with sea salt and pepper. Everything is made fresh and it was greatly appreciated and again the staff was great. Some of the workers that work on the building are a bit aggressive with the girls in the restaurant and like to talk smack about the customers in Spanish which makes folks feel uncomfortable but the owners would have to get that under control. Other then that the girls were very sweet and helpful which made the visit more pleasant.

5 Stars - A Hidden Gem in Moriarty, NM…read more Chili Hills may not look like much from the outside, but don't let the unassuming exterior fool you--this place is fantastic! We stopped in for dinner based on the glowing Yelp reviews, and they were absolutely right. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine warmth and friendliness. The vibe was laid-back and local, with just a few other diners--it is Moriarty, after all--but the service was top-notch. Hubby was thrilled to see they serve all-day breakfast, so he went for the pancakes, and I ordered the combo fajitas (chicken and steak). While waiting, they brought out chips and salsa. The salsa was a bit too spicy for me, but no problem--they happily brought ranch dressing instead. Win! The food portions? HUGE. My fajitas were sizzling perfection--tender meat, just the right amount of peppers and onions, and all the fixings: guac, lettuce, cheese, salsa, tomatoes, and soft flour tortillas. So good. Five big ol' flavor booms. Hubby gave the pancakes two thumbs up--and he's picky about his pancakes, so that's saying something. Two hearty meals, drinks (yay for Diet Dr. Pepper!), friendly service, and all for around $45. Totally worth it. We'd go out of our way to eat here again on our return trip. Highly recommend this spot if you're anywhere near I-40 and need a satisfying, no-frills, home-style meal.
