Yum! The food is spectacular! I loved the dolmas ; bright, tangy, and delicious. The falafel was so fresh and not oily. Our server, Tim, was very friendly and welcoming. The setting is clean, and relaxing. I am definitely going back soon!

    Dubai chocolate cheesecake!

We found a new favorite spot! Good options in the East Mountains are few and far between. This is definitely in our rotation. Pro tip: ask for the special hot sauce and don't skip the Dubai chocolate cheesecake

Hours for Flamez. Don't be late!

Great addition to the cedar crest area. The flavors were delicious and fresh. I had the gyro and everything about it was perfect.

Love that we have a REALLY good new option in the East Mountains. I especially recommend their hummus and babaganoush.

All Roads Cafe popped up on Yelp and we thought, "what the heck?" Turns out, this is a hidden gem! This is a splendid sandwich shop sits at the end of a small plaza, and the ever-changing menu means that you won't get bored ordering the same dried out turkey whatever thingy. I sadly don't remember what sandwiches we ordered (the perils of doing a Yelp review almost a month later), but suffice to say that we didn't leave a single crumb behind. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was a fun locals vibe.

The All Roads Cafe is just a few minutes north of I-40 and is worth the drive. We came in here on our last day visiting Santa Fe in the summer and I'm so glad we did, as it was on my list of things to try after perusing Yelp for notables. I had a scrumptious white bean-roasted red pepper-melted cheese tartine on delicious, fresh house-made bread topped with a balsamic glaze. I think it was one of the better dishes I had while in town. It was served with an array of olives on the plate. So good! They were out of the egg salad sandwich by the time we arrived, which was something a family member wanted to try, but they ordered an avocado toast instead. Also great and served with olives. The service was fast and thoughtful. Order at the counter and your food is brought to your table. We found a great shaded spot outside for the five of us with a view facing the bustling bakery inside. Many people brought their bikes or dogs (allowed outside only) and met up with friends to eat and chat. At one point a server brought out an order of bread that we did not order, but he left it with us anyway, free of charge. So glad we got to try Sage Bakehouse and I'd definitely visit several more times when in the area!

We stopped by early this Sunday morning and was pleasantly surprised that they have expanded the menu from mainly banh mi. The now have Pho and rice noodle dishes. B5 combo is a solid can't go wrong choice. All the protein was cooked well and seasoned nicely. Egg roll was good. Fish sauce is going to be the grey area because thats always personal preference, it was good, but would say more on the fishy side, which my fiance liked. Im used to my moms sauce which is more on the sweeter side. I also got an Vietnamese iced coffee and I will say it is probably the best Vietnamese ice coffee that I've had in thr ABQ area. Its was strong and nice and smooth. It wasn't too sweet. The reason why I say this is the best iced Vietnamese cofee I've had in ABQ is because other places, the Vietnamese coffee is bitter or its not balanced enough with flavor. At over $8 for a cup, it's pricey but if i need a Vietnamese coffee fix, this will be a good to spot. I will say they keep it really clean in there and the white esthetic was pleasing on this sunny Sunday while we were eating in there.

Typically I'd get a bowl of Pho but the temperature was about 100 so no Pho. I opted to try the Noodle Salad bowl w raw veggies and assorted cooked meats on top. (See pic) They had a big selection of Vietnamese cold fruit drinks and coffee drinks. Again, I'll be going back to try some. (See pic) The nice thing was that half the dining room had Vietnamese customers which I consider a good sign for authenticity. The place was very clean and attractive. The staff were extremely polite. My Noodle Salad Bowl came in a big paper bowl w a lid so I was able to eat half and take the rest home easily. (See pic.) It was okay but I wasn't crazy about it. I'll try a sandwich next time.
