So we were coming thru NM today and I was told you need to try this place so we stopped. It seems a little outdated , the restrooms were not so clean , counter where you ordered seems a little cluttered. Now on to the food, had the double hatch chile style burger , it wasn't bad , little messy to eat , flavor could have used some more seasoning , had a side of onion rings and they were great. This is one of the best burgers I have ever had. The fries were also delicious. We stopped by while driving on Route 66 on the way back from Arizona. I definitely recommend if you need to take a break. The restrooms weren't bad and it took about 10 minutes to get our food, but we didn't mind. They were following Covid precautions and they had some tables blocked off so we were all distanced from each other. I will definitely try again. read more

This is now the second time I went to this facility it's really not fast food it's mega slow, you walk in they've got orders from applications- internet. Do you think you're gonna be 15 minutes or less? It's a half hour to 45 minutes just for a burger no fries and not a Coke. I do suggest an owners and management put the window up to tell you how long it's gonna be before you order, giving preference to Internet orders and making customers wait it's just not healthy. Recommendation go west on route 66 to Kentucky Fried chicken get some fresh chicken, coleslaw, mashed potatoes, and biscuits! Done in 5 mins. read more

Was an amazing place to work at the food was good loved the onion rings and chicken strips were good really like the lota burgers with green chili I highly recommend having the strawberry and chocolate shakes flavors mixed in was my personal favorite out of everything the shakes were the best didn't get to work there long but people I worked with there and management tracy, josh, Ashley , Jacob,nick Shane and there were others I wanted mention forget there names but they all were really nice people and amazing brothers and sisters to work with had fun working with them the only thing I didn't like about working there though were some the rude customers who were mean one person called me retarded and there was a lot other mean rude ones and I never said anything mean or rude back everytime I put a smile on still wished everyone a nice day regardless how horrible they treated me or how nice they treated me I only ever give complements never put downs treat everyone nice and like a brother and sister always if you don't got something nice to say you should keep it to yourself I understand you customers might get upset if your order was late or taken wrong but you shouldn't take your anger out on people who make minimum wage there was some nice customers though but met like alot really rude ones and some there comments hurt made me feel sad inside some days so please treat the workers there better sometimes they get busy and mistakes are made that's about all I wanted to say had to get it off my mind but definitely recommend eating there for the shakes and some the food just some the food is little over priced really my only other complaint but it's good though. read more

STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!! We stopped for a burger and ordered the NM lotta burger (the item on the top left of the menu). It said it was $6.89. When the cashier rang it up it came out to over $9 (before tax). We asked why and the lady was very rude and told us that it was because we added chilis and cheese. It literally said it came with the chili's and cheese on the menu item. The lady was incredibly rude and just kept arguing with us. We ordered 2 burgers (not a meal) and a (1) kids meal and it came out to over $25! We chose to cancel our order and leave and the lady said "WELL I ALREADY DROPPED THE CHICKEN TO COOK" ....I was looking forward to eating here, but I will never stop at a lotta burger again Figure your menu out and train your staff. This is my least favorite of the 3 different Blake's I stop at. Today they left off the bacon on my burger which I paid for. Come to think of it, my order has been wrong all 3 times. The service is always slow and not all that pleasant to boot. I'm at a follow up visit and it took 30 minutes to put my burger on the grill. We have waited one hour on 2 breakfast burritos. There were 3 other vehicles here before us. We still don't have our breakfast burritos. The ice has melted in our drinks. Did they have to pick the potatoes or slaughter the hog for the sausage? This is NUTS! No breakfast burrito is worth waiting an hour for, especially when the place isn't busy! I want to give these guys a good review but I just can't. The food is not bad. Above average for burger and the price is comparable to the rest. But store is an absolute disaster and not exaggerating there were 100+ flys throughout the store. The burgers are made on top of all the old veggies that didn't make the burgers before and if you didn't ask for tomatoes or onions they are going to be on the burger anyways. No one is eating inside the store so there aren't tables to clean. It's not hard to clean behind the counter. read more

We are truck drivers and always stop at this Lotaburger, which is great because it's one of few that serve breakfast all day; the food is wonderful and service is friendly (and there's enough room to park an 18-wheeler). BUT, tonight was a great disappointment. We drove hours in a rush to be sure to get here well before closing so we could arrive in plenty of time to order. We walked up to the door at 9:40, 20 minutes before closing, and the door was already locked, with no explanation. Of course, the 3 employees inside were standing in a row with their backs turned to the door, so they wouldn't have to answer any questions. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. If a business has a sign in the door giving the hours of operation, they should be open during those hours. read more

We came here as a last resort since everything was closing. We were greeted with a friendly young man behind the counter who was very informative of the menu. We noticed the amount of flies inside the restaurant landing on ice cream machine countertops and Tables. The food was served in a timely manner nice and hot add good flavor but the idea of flies buzzing around planning on the food while it was waiting to be completed took away the pleasure of eating. I noticed a few others sitting at tables and left and table tops were not sanitize just wipe down, Some workers had no Face masks or gloves, music was playing, Employees were dancing around without masks laughing and shouting at each other. If anyone was infected now would spread like wild fire on exposed food. Very unprofessional unsanitary and the music was horrible as a blared in the restaurant. We took our food to go and left. Worst service ever! There were 6 people working. I ordered two burgers and fries. Was told 15-20 minutes because they were "short handed", but the workers were bumping into each other there were so many. My burgers can up in 20 minutes, but waited another 15 for the fries!
