    Hush puppies.....great side dish.

This is a great hidden spot on Robinhood Road I. The same parking lot as the YMCA. They have a great lunch menu and have a daily soup of the day special. You order at the counter and take the #to your table. They bring the meal to your table. Drinks are self serve fountain sodas, unsweetened & sweet tea. They also carry different flavored ice cream. Most orders come with your choice of standard sides like fries, sweet potato waffle fries, fruit, etc. my wife got a fish sandwich on pita. Decent sized fish, she loved it. I got the French Bo Dipper. It comes with a small cup of Au Jus that was the perfect dip for this sandwich. I also used it to dip my fries in. Overall it is a really cool little spot to relax and eat either inside at a booth or table or outside in the fresh air. Either way is relaxing. Employees are all friendly and attentive.

Apparently I've been sleeping on Bobo's. I called in a salad when I was on that side of Winston last week and went through the drive through to get it to go. The salad was delicious and loaded down with goodies. It was very fast service and I was in and out in no time. There are a few wraps on the menu that caught my eye as well so I'll have to go back for those. I got the green goddess dressing and it was very tasty.

    Hot Italian Sub

On this visit I wanted to try an item that I'd never had here, the Italian Sub. There is ham, salami, pepperoni, melted smoked gouda, lettuce, tomato, onions. It is served hot on a toasted, 8"hoagie roll with Italian dressing. It comes with a side and goes for $11.29! I love Italian Subs, and have tried more than 2 dozen in the area. This is a solid sandwich, with a flavorful, crunchy roll that is well filled. While the meats are of decent quality, they do not meet the quality of some of the other such sandwiches in the area, and I felt the Italian dressing was on the weak side, not doing much to enhance the flavor. And even with a side (and it is a small side), the overall price is on the upper end of subs I feel are overall better. As built, the combination of the melted cheese and the Italian dressing makes this a rather messy sandwich - I would advise some care in consuming! Another point, the onions on this sub are of the red variety. Ambiance - 3 Food - 3 Service - 3 Value - 3

Service was great. The menu had many options. I ordered the Asian Spicy Chicken Salad. Had to ask for the sweet tea dispenser to get refilled. I give this a 3 out of 5. The place had a decent amount of seating space inside and out. Could be a-lot cleaner. Not too impressed.

We came here about 9am on a Saturday morning. We were looking to grab something to eat in the area and found this place in our bookmarks, so we thought we would finally check it out. This is a casual deli where you order and pay at the counter, have a seat and they bring the food to you. We went to the counter and decided to grab menus and sit at a nearby table to check out the menu. They offer a variety of sandwiches, burgers, salads, etc. We decided on our food and went back to the counter to order. The interior looks to be clean and well taken care of. We could not help but notice the similarities to another deli we frequent in Winston but after inquiring we were told they are only connected to another business in Kernersville. Our orders arrived quickly. My wife chose the Chef Salad and I ordered the Gus Burger with fries and both looked delicious. We both really enjoyed our meals but kept talking about trying their hot chips. So, my wife went and placed an order for them. They also arrived quickly and were tasty but the order was pretty small for two people. Maybe there are different sizes which we didn't ask about. There were many people coming and going, most were eating in but there was also a steady stream of people picking up takeout orders. Overall, a good stop and great local joint in the Robinhood area.

We have been looking for a good classic sandwich shop in Winston since we moved here and I think we finally found one at Bobo's! Sometimes all you want is a classic Philly cheese steak, Reuben, or Italian sandwich and it's not always easy to find! Here at Bobo's they have an amazing selection of sandwiches and the quality does not disappoint. This time I tried the hot Italian and everything about it was perfect! Stacked with layers of flavor between two soft pieces of bread, not much more to ask for.

Really great food and low key atmosphere! They had tons of options for lunch like sandwiches, burgers, salads and tenders. The place was also decorated so well for Christmas. The food was well seasoned and filling and was brought to the table fairly quickly after ordering

Tucked away next to the YMCA of robinhood rd is this cute deli/grill. I came here because of the great rating and was not disappointed. The bobo Philly I had was deliciously moist, cheesy, and filled with flavor. The sweet potato fries also went perfectly with that honey mustard sauce. The seating was clean and the service was quick and friendly and they bring your order to your table. For a casual and overall quick lunch I think this is a MUST know spot as it had and excellent menu that already has me wanting to go back to try more. So whether you need a post workout meal or a pre TJ maxx meal don't miss out on this spot.

We were running errands and in the general area of Olive Tree Deli when my wife recalled the original location is in Winston. We enjoy there newer Olive Tree Diner at the Colin Creek Golf Course in Mocksville. We decided to check it out and arrived close to 9:30 am. We both agreed the building looks like a former Taco Bell. There is adequate parking and it is easy to find. Although we only perused the breakfast menu, we saw the menu board behind the counter featuring lunch and dinner options. We both agreed we need to come back and check out the rest of the menu. We ended up ordering breakfast. The man at the counter was friendly and efficient. My wife ordered the 3-egg omelet with bacon, no cheese. She requested sliced tomatoes instead of potatoes and toast. I ordered the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on a bun. The prices are extremely reasonable and the place appears to be clean and taken care of. We took a seat and there was a steady stream of customers. Our food took a bit to arrive and my wife was immediately underwhelmed with her food. Granted, the prices are very inexpensive, but the omelet was very small and simply underwhelming. She also felt the tomatoes were too ripe. The menu for lunch and dinner options sounded much more appealing to us. We decided we would be willing to come back and try again but not for breakfast. Also, we recommend not coming here with any expectation it is anything like the location in Mocksville. Our experience in Mocksville has always been great - completely different vibe.

Between the rave reviews and the beautifully designed space, I knew this would be our stop. The first thing I noticed when we arrived was that the parking lot was on the smaller side, but any concern disappeared the moment we checked in. The hostess greeted us warmly, asked for my license plate so she could validate our parking, and had us seated almost immediately. It was such a thoughtful touch and set the tone for the experience. On the way to our table, I couldn't help but notice the inviting patio, perfect for lingering over lunch on a beautiful day. That said, I had reserved an indoor table, and I'm glad I did. The dining room is intimate, stylish, and effortlessly chic. It's the kind of restaurant that feels equally suited for a catch-up with friends as it does for a date night. The tables are close together, creating a lively atmosphere, so it's worth keeping that in mind if you prefer a little more privacy. Our server, Aundria, made an already wonderful experience even better. She was warm, attentive, and knew the menu inside and out. It was also refreshing to see the entire team working together so seamlessly, with everyone stepping in to help one another throughout the meal. I ordered the lobster roll with shoestring fries, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The lobster was fresh, buttery, and generously portioned, making it one of those dishes I'd happily order again. Before we left, I asked Aundria what she reaches for when she dines there. Without hesitation, she recommended the Korean Beef Bowl, which has already earned a spot on my list for my next visit. As if the experience couldn't have ended on a sweeter note, it started raining just as we were leaving. The hostess grabbed an umbrella and walked me to my car, a simple gesture that perfectly reflected the hospitality we experienced from start to finish. Great food is memorable, but genuine hospitality is what keeps me coming back. This restaurant delivered both, and it's officially earned a place on my list of Winston-Salem favorites.

The "Korean Beef Bowl" came with about a cup of each beef, rice, cucumbers and maybe 1/4th of an avocado for $24. This looked and tasted like a $14 dollar plate at best (seriously, no kimchi even in a Korean bowl?); I left hungry. My wife got the Thai coconut curry, $30 bucks which included an $8 up charge for chicken, in which there were maybe 8 paper thin slices. The curry part was non existent both in volume and in taste. There was barely any sauce, very bland, and it essentially tasted like unseasoned noodles and vegetables. I would gladly come back for a happy hour and enjoy their other drink options and appetizers, but I just cannot justify paying the exorbitant prices for how mediocre the food ultimately was. I wish I had taken a picture of the food to add weight to the review but it was so lackluster looking that it just was not worth photographing in the moment.
