    Steak and potatoes

A great selection to choose from you can't ever go wrong with anything from the menu. The ricotta pancakes were really decadent, and it's something we dream about to this day. Waitstaff was accommodating and attentive, and the ambiance was just right with light music playing over the speakers.

The waiters were great, the breakfast served to us was super tasty, and their coffee was perfect - not too bitter, just right. The ambiance was quaint and peaceful, since the local streets were the views and classical music was playing.

This is a wonderful place to sit and have a cocktail and a meal or just to gaze out and look at Michigan Avenue. The service was excellent. The food was tasty. The bar area has many tables and comfortable chairs, as well as the dining room is very spacious and comfortable

Very nice ambiance for drinking and eating. Pizza is very delicious. Chicken wings are a little dry. I will avoid tiramisu. The service is super friendly and nice. It's a very pleasant place to dine in or just have a couple of drinks with friends.

The only reason I'm giving this place anything above 1 star is because of the drinks and the ambiance. The food was nothing to write home about. My besties and I had arrived in Chicago for one of the bestie's birthday. So it was safe to say we were pretty hungry. It's a b*tch and a half finding a place to eat in the city without any wait and I can admit the only place we chose this one to eat at was because it was in our hotel and there was no wait. Another positive was the staff. Hold that thought, our waiter was nice and attentive, other than the fact that he completely glossed over one of the besties while we were ordering our drinks. He got around to 4/5 of us and I guess she turned invisible for a hot second because he dead*ss walked away after getting 4/5 of our drink orders. He was apologizing about it once my forgotten friend said something about how she hadn't given her order, but that had never happened to me before. I was appalled to say the least. Anyway, the food menu was pretty tiny, but that wasn't that big of a deal. I ordered the gnocchi ($28?! For some tiny pieces of potatoes with some tomato sauce on them?!) and the besties ordered pizza. One bestie ordered the margherita pizza and the other besties ordered the pizza of the day, which was a white sauce with ricotta with artichoke and spinach on top. To be quite frank, they hated it and the margherita pizza tasted like regular red sauce pizza (however, the margherita pizza was the better of the two...) the pizza was so bad one of the besties left her to-go box at the table once we left. The crust was too salty yet not seasoned all at the same time. Surprisingly, the pizza was about $10 LESS than my pieces of potato. Also, it took a hot minute for the food to come out. Long story short, the convenience was the only aspect of the night that saved this review from being a 1 star.

Really liked the food and service. Restaurant week is doing a good job of identifying the Unusual suspects. My friend and I had a great time... with first course of bacon wrapped dates and deviled eggs, main course of salmon salad and chicken, desserts were carrot walnut Bundt cake and chocolate cake. Our server Adrian was attentive and kept coming back to check in us. We got seated with the view of magnificent mile and it was lovely! I will be back for sure!!!

Went to this restaurant while visiting with family downtown. Was seated pretty quickly without a reservation and had a great view. The burger I had was also very delicious. The staff was incredibly nice as well. Will definitely make a return.

Absolutely amazing! I went with my uncle and we both couldn't wait to share about our experiences. We ordered the following: meatball appetizer for the table. There's 6 beef meatballs baked with marinara at the bottom with a cheese lightly melted on top. $13 I ordered a glass of Shiraz which was really smooth.$12 I had the the lamb rack with lamb sausage, served with a spicy raisined cous cous with carrots on top. I had it cooked medium. I could've had it cooked medium well but it was so juicy and cooked well. $36 My uncle had the salmon which we served artichoke hearts (so so good). $29 This was definitely a favorite spot while visiting Chicago. The service was great. Even one of the waiters used a napkin to pour water so that he wouldn't spill. Very considerate.

This is my new FAVORITE BREAKFAST SPOT!!!! Overview: I went here with my parents for Christmas Day Breakfast and even though it was very busy-the staff was incredibly attentive in anticipating everyone's needs and the food came promptly and was absolutely phenomenal, fresh, and creatively presented! Location: On the 4th Floor of the Omni Hotel on the corner of Huron and Michigan Avenue. Entry: Upon entering we were immediately seated (without a reservation) and provided with a menu, coffee and orange juice. The Menu: Options for the Brunch Buffet or individual options. Our Food: We ordered the following: Omlette- Made to order Omlette with ham, cheddar, and spinach with arugala and breakfast potatoes with carmelized onions and jalapeno pepper. Came with a stack of wheat bread and a darling side of butter and individual strawberry jam! Omlette was huge (3 eggs) and fluffy and with a generous portion of ham, cheddar, and spinach. Loved the small round potatoes with arugala and onion/jalapeno carmelized. Steel Oats- My Dad ordered the Steel Oats which were served with cinnamon, sugar, and other toppings. He stated that it was delicious although not adventurous! Avocado Toast- My Mami orderd the Avocado Toast which came with a beautiful presentation of half a scooped out avocado skin with mashed avocado, cherry tomatoes, and cilantro. Two pieces of thick cut toast were included as were scrambled eggs. Absolutely beautiful and delicious! The Servers: Anticipated our needs and returned to refill our orange juice, coffee, and glasses of water on a frequent basis! Stellar service!!!!!! Fantastic Breakfast and reasonably priced~will return ASAP!

Two of us went for lunch and sat at the bar. The place was pretty much empty. The decor is decent and inviting. I actually like the menu. The guy behind the bar kept leaving and even when he was there, not asking us if we needed anything. We had to initiate to get service, which was pretty strange. They have an average wine and beer list, although behind the bar looked like they may have solid cocktails. We split the deviled eggs, goat cheese and meatballs. The deviled eggs were good but pretty average. The prosciutto was a welcomed addition but other than that, nothing special. Also, the menu describes the eggs as having caviar on top, but they are topped with roe. This is a big difference for some people (fortunately I am not one of them) so they should just change the description. The letdown for me was the goat cheese fritters. I didn't think they tasted bad, but I expected some additional flavor other than just goat cheese. This is a pretty strong flavor and with nothing to balance it, it was just so strong and one-note. I only ate one and had my companion kill the dish. The best dish was the meatballs, albeit not spectacular. The bread that comes with them was actually very good. The meatball itself had good flavor and was moist and I would get it again. Overall, average spot but a good place to stop if you're in the area.

I have been here on business during the RSNA week. The breakfast buffet is simply wonderful with fresh coffee, artisanal breads and jams and made-to-order eggs. At night, the bar is a great meeting area with an extensive wine and beer menu. The beer is served in mason jars and there are also TVs to watch games or you can find a high-top table for conversation. The view from the high glass windows is the best part and you can see the hustle and bustle of Michigan Avenue below.

That said, this place just completely disappointed. The food was just not good. I had the burger sliders and for $9 a piece you expect them to be something special. They were not. Overcooked with a little sauce and two pickles slapped on the bun with a tiny little dab of fake cheese - it was like a bad and way more expensive version of McDonald's. The onion rings were the frozen crumbly kind not the fresh beer battered kind and so that's a big "no!" for me. The dipping sauce was okay. Service was friendly and I think the guy was new but it wasn't good enough for a place like that at the top of the building. There were two servers so I'm guessing one was training maybe. They didn't make it to my table to check to see if everything was okay while I was eating and it even took them a while to notice that I was done eating. You simply choose your preferred spirit, flavor profile, and glassware, then let the mixologist create something just for you. It's one of my favorite cocktail experiences in the city, and they've never steered me wrong. What I especially appreciate is how knowledgeable the bartenders are. They're always happy to offer recommendations if you're unsure what to order, but they're equally excited to create something completely unique if you're feeling adventurous. Watching them craft each drink is part of the experience. I've even hosted a birthday gathering here in their private side room, where we enjoyed charcuterie boards alongside our cocktails. If you're just stopping in for drinks, though, I'd recommend grabbing dinner beforehand, as the food offerings are fairly limited. More often than not though, you'll find me sitting right at the bar. I love watching the bartenders showcase their craft and chatting with them about the incredible selection of spirits they have on hand. It's a great spot for anyone who genuinely appreciates well-made cocktails and the artistry behind them. I'm also a member of their loyalty program, which is well worth joining. If you pull up to the front door, you are blocking traffic. Base on price of 400 dollars the night we stayed, I would say it's not worth the stay. Maybe it's worth 200 or less for Chicago.
