First time there and wasn't what I was told it would be. The breakfast was average at best and look like it was made at home. All food is served on recycled plates and bowls which means if you have cheese it's not going to be good. Felt like I was eating the plate at one time while trying to eat my eggs. Also, you can't order three eggs but on two or four or six but never just one(crazy)! TTvs and the music was the only plus giving my wait time and very clean as well. Need a new brand of coffee as its was very bitter.

I recently moved to Greensboro from Charlotte. Finding casual dining with great food and aesthetic has been a challenge . Then a quick search of restaurants near me suggested tge Breakfast spot for a late brunch Sunday. Im so glad I took the drive to experience the restaurant for myself I was greeted with a clean restaurant , nice music. There are board games while you wait the food was hot, seasoned well and my server was nice. I ordered a mimosa which was small but yummy , nonetheless. Ample parking . A Dj on the weekends would be a nice little Sunday Funday Brunch idea for this spot. Overall I enjoyed and will go back

I like having a simple breakfast and since we we were in Greensboro, we decided to try this little place. Paris was our server. She's so friendly and made us feel welcome. You can tell that this place has lots of thought to their budget, with paper plates and plastic That cuts down on the cost of dishwashing and breakage. I think it's a great idea. Paris tells me that they have been here for 2 years. What they do works. And the coffee is great!

The Breakfast Spot is a very good restaurant. Upon arrival we were immediately greeted by the staff and seated. Everything on the menu sounded good but I had the French toast and it was tasty, along with a coffee. The ambiance there is nice as well, I do plan on returning soon

I was really excited to try a new breakfast spot right around the corner in my neighborhood. As I walked in, I was told I could sit anywhere. I chose a clean table near the kitchen and could see that the cleanliness extended into the kitchen area, which is always a good start. Our waiter seemed to be working the entire restaurant but was friendly and didn't seem to get stressed as it filled up. I ordered Emma's platter because I love salmon. While the grits were spot on, and the eggs were cooked perfectly, the main component of the meal was very much overcooked (the entire outside rim couldn't be cut) and so dry, to my disappointment. I'm not sure if the lack of flavor was due to the fact that it was overcooked, but I don't know if I'd order that particular dish again. However, they had a lot of other items that I would love to try, particularly the Cajun grits (86'd during my visit) and the waffle sliders, so I would return again based on the preparation of the staple breakfast items.

This is a really cute spot for breakfast or brunch! I had a waffle with bacon and toast. The waffle was very good and had a nice vanilla flavor. The bacon was really good and thick. I also had a cranberry mimosa which you can't go wrong with. Our waitress was great - extremely friendly and attentive. It is more on the expensive side and you have to pay for water because they only have bottled. I will say one issue I had was that it was really difficult to cut my waffle with a plastic knife and fork. My plasticware was so close to breaking multiple times, I eventually used my fingers to eat parts of my waffle. I saw in another review where the owner said they don't have silverware because they can't have a dishwasher due to city regulations which I totally understand. I do hope that management can find a solution to this though because it is difficult to eat certain foods with only plastic ware. But either way, I enjoyed this spot and I plan on coming back!

Great food, a simple menu, and wonderful service! It's located in a shopping plaza so there is plenty of parking. I will admit the prices are a little expensive. For a breakfast platter I paid $20. That included three pancakes, bacon, eggs and grits. The food was hot, fresh and cooked to order. Everything was great! I really enjoyed the grits

Ample parking. Friendly greetings when arriving. Awesome music selection (it is loud, but that was ok with me)! The interior is very cute and clean and the waiter was nice and visited our table often. A huge plus for my visit was the service. We didn't wait terribly too long for the waiter to get our order...he said it would be ready in 20 mins. It took the 20 mins. The food was hot (huge plus). What lowered my rating was the food/drink. I was super excited to drink the coffee because it comes in a cute hug porcelain mug. The coffee tasted really bad. It wasn't hot and it tasted like watered down instant coffee with an extremely weird after taste. I like my coffee black. So I couldn't add sugar or cream to mask the taste. A simple cup of k-cup pod coffee would have been just fine. My daughter loved the lemonade. It comes in a lemonade plastic bottle with a lid. Cute! At this price point, I'm not a huge fan of paper plates/plastic silverware. With the coffee arriving in a porcelain mug, I expected the same type of plates to follow. The eggs were really good. The grits were super runny. I didn't eat them. The salmon croquettes were ok. This is a new restaurant and I think over time, they will improve. They are eager for feedback. They had some positive points about them and I heard the chicken and waffles were good. I'm going to give this spot another try and order that the next time with a mimosa!

Hey family! I had the pleasure of visiting this spot about a week ago. I went last Sunday, a little after 7am because I heard it can get very busy. I didn't want to deal with the brunch and church crowd as we know how that can go for popular spots. The vibe was very welcoming and I didn't mind the gospel music blasting. They played some songs I hadn't heard in a long time. I truly enjoyed it. The place and the food felt very familiar. In my opinion the food was good however, I wasn't wowed in the sense that I would need to come back. It felt like it was no more than what I could make in my own kitchen. One thing that somewhat took away from the place is that everything was in plastic or paper from utensils and plate-ware. I really wish they had real utensils but I can see why as it leads to an easy cleanup. The staff was fantastic and answered all my questions. I do feel that it's a little pricey for breakfast foods. They do have games at the front that you can play while you wait as well as several TV's . It would be a great after hours spot for a Friday and Saturday night. Maybe one day they might consider that. If you're in the area, check this place out.

My friend suggested the Breakfast spot and I had never heard of it, but the reviews looked good. We arrived a little after 1pm on a Saturday and it was busy, but there were plenty of seats available. We both ordered the lemonade. It was really good! Not the typical kind with pulp, but it was light, not too sweet and I really enjoyed it. She and I couldn't decide on what to order so we split an omelet and chicken and waffles. I loved it all!

The food was on point and so was the atmosphere! The servings are big enough to equal two meals. I would def recommend. Loved the music that was played. Took me back in time.

Vibe here was great and a fun brunch spot! Good music and the waitress was nice. She recommended the salmon croquettes and they lived up to the hype! Definitely recommend if you're a fan of salmon. Be warned - it is a little pricey and you'll have to pay for bottled water

    Philly Cheese Steak & Fries

The food was amazingggg- I got the Philly Cheese Steak with fries and the fries were fresh and hot. The cheese steak was loaded, warm, savory, and had a soft buttery hoagie bun. It's average portions, about a six inch, but it's stuffed and VERY filling. The server was very kind, constantly checking in. Overall great experience and definitely coming back!

Sorry, but I started eating before taking the pic. This is Emma's Platter. Forgive the molasses on the croquettes, but I'm from the country.

She Said: I'll second the assessment that the staff are great. I'd go back just for the terrific service. I was also happier with my breakfast: two eggs over medium, toast, bacon, and hash browns. The star was the hash browns. They were done well with crispiness on the outside and creaminess on the inside. I also got a Bloody Mary and it was well crafted. The rest was just fine. I would push for a 3.5 if Yelp allowed half points. Maybe a four because of the staff. (Shout out to the waiter named Michael, I think.) Potty Points: 3/5 as it was clean enough and available when needed.
