Was so excited to find like a place to order just a bagel or sandwich to go. Personally it is a bit pricey but it is good. Definitely better than the chain restaurants. I had an onion bagel to go and in front of the beach. That's a 10/10. Just personally the parking situation sucks. read more

Came here for a quick lunch after church and we're glad we did. The food was prepared fresh and quick! Service was awesome. The three people we interacted with here are very friendly, genuine and kind! One thing that I think is really cool about what they offer is each kids meal comes on a branded frisbee or bucket and Pail. Not only did we get lunch but our 6 year old received a new beach toy which is a win win! If I had to describe this place in 3 words I'd say Fresh, inexpensive, delicious! read more

What a hidden Jem just off 1a!! The people were so friendly and helpful!!! I asked for suggestions and they nailed it!! The Italian is so so so good!! The bread was fresh and all ingredients were wonderful!! The coffee choices are amazing and delicious!! There are also baked goodie's that were so tasty!! This is way more than a sandwich shop!! And to top it off Views of the ocean from their high top tables!!! I will be returning when in the area!! read more

I learned about this deli from a friend and I looked at the site. The food looked enticing...and huge. I wasn't as impressed as I'd hoped. The food was okay, but nothing spectacular. There were 2 of us - we both got a 7", split a side and each had a Sprite. $45 and change for what we got. The service was ...meh. I did ask for everything they had topping-wise to put on my sandwich, but I believe I got it the way it comes standard. We could have gone to Firehouse, Jason's or even Publix and had just as quality a meal without the pricetag. There's nothing special or unique about the ambiance...just ordinary. I DON'T like the bill suggesting a tip for counter service. Then you think, if we don't leave a tip, will the food suffer...or worse? Asking for gratuity without full service is tacky - no matter what a restaurant's scale is. Maybe this explains why we didn't see an abundance of patrons during a peak lunch time. This place? My sandwich was missing the lettuce and my friends sandwich had lettuce and tomatoes and she didn't order either on her's. Also ordered the mocha brownie drink and got a brownie instead. When told about the incorrect item they made me a drink but it didn't look anything like the picture in their menu. Missing the chocolate drizzle and the whipped cream. Won't be back. read more

Terrible greasy mess of a sandwich. I had the "Cousin Tony " and the grease was running out of it. The coffee and Crumb Bun were good and I'd advise everyone to stick to that. Tried twice to get bagel and lox but no lox. There are much better restaurants in Flagler Beach. read more

First time here for lunch and it was great. The service counter was clean and pastry display was locked and loaded. Our 7" club sandwich roll was fresh, veggies nice and crisp and large enough for my husband and I to split. The staff was very friendly and the outside area enjoyable. Delicious Food. Great service. Local flair! We were in Flagler Beach area, ate here twice and look forward to coming back. Pompano's is located right by the beach, tucked behind another restaurant. You can eat inside, outside or take you food to go. We chose to sit outside, in the shade. It was wonderful! If you like a little spice on your sandwich ask for "angry style" (I think that's what it was called) the deli has a housemade spread that was amazing. There's a soft spot in my heart for baked cookies -from- NY, such a pleasant surprise this restaurant has those as well. read more

Limited menu, don't really offer any "make your own" sandwiches. We both went for the Turkey and Gouda on a baguette. I had them do mine panini style. They did let us add prosciutto and it really improved the sandwich. Hours are limited-basically a lunch spot. It was OK, but with other viable choices I will not make it a priority to return. read more

I love the chef salad which is piled high. . It's enough even for 2 people unless your really hungry. I came in here expecting the worst but was very pleasantly surprised. The menu isn't overwhelming like in most delis and we went with the tuna melt and Italian and both were good. The bread and topping options were good and the veggies they put on the sub were actually really fresh! The lettuce wasn't brown and nasty like in most places and the tomatoes were nice and fresh! When I moved to Flagler Beach from Long Island, I noticed something missing - authentic New York bagels. After years working in New York delis, I knew what it took to do it right. In 2020, I opened 6th Street Deli to bring real deli culture to Florida’s coast. Our bagels are kettle-boiled the traditional New York way - the method most places skip because it’s time-consuming. We bake fresh every morning, use only Boar’s Head deli meats, and make our spreads, salads, and soups in-house. No shortcuts, no compromises. What makes us special is combining authentic New York tradition with Florida beach lifestyle. We’re one block from the beach with an ocean-view deck. This is a beautiful location and even at midday on Friday this place was packed with customers. The shelves were well stocked the produce was fresh, beautiful and plentiful. The staff was very helpful and hometown friendly they never fall short when it comes to customer service. The store is located just a few miles west of Flagler Beach off SR 100 making it super convenient for beach goers, Publix's is known for it ready made foods and of course the deli but be prepared to grab a number and get in line but well worth the wait and if you want to save some money always shop the BOGOs...

Pompano's 6th St Deli is an absolute gem in Flagler Beach! This small but cozy spot, located right across from the ocean, serves the most delicious sandwiches in the area. We've been coming here since they first opened, and it's always a treat. Joe, the owner, is incredibly welcoming, and the service is consistently great. The staff is friendly and works hard to keep up with the demand. However, I highly recommend placing your order ahead of time, especially during peak hours--they get busy for a reason! Now, let's talk about the food. Their sandwiches are simply unbeatable. Our personal favorites are the Reuben, which is packed with flavor, and the Belly Buster--an epic breakfast sandwich loaded with everything you could want to start your day right. Every bite is satisfying, and you can really taste the quality ingredients they use. And if you're a coffee lover, you must try their Italian coffee. It's rich, bold, and far superior to anything you'd get at a chain coffee shop. It's the perfect way to complement your meal while enjoying the ocean breeze. The only truly negative thing I noticed was the jam came in a small plastic cup and when I tasted the jam, it tasted like the plastic, so I couldn't eat it.
