The food is guaranteed to be good with a few really amazing dishes. It seems a little pricey, but you were getting the experience of being in a historic building in the heart of Milton in the country. The wait staff wears a gingham with jeans typically, which adds to the upscale country atmosphere. The fact that they have a bar is kind of nice and they do have some outdoor seating. Dogs are welcome for the outdoor seating. They have a nice bar, too. The more gourmet items include the desserts, and some fun drinks. Burgers are great here, and I enjoy the chicken salad sandwich. I believe her name was Liel and let me tell you the patience and professionalism that she carried herself with was truly amazing. We came in during lunch rush hour and she looked flustered because of the amount of people although when I walked up to her she made sure to give me and my family the attention they needed and helped us sit down right away. We have ordered a few times from this place during quarantine. The system they have in place is great. It is curbside and they have designated parking spots to pull into to wait for your food, keeping the traffic lite and not affecting the road they are on. They also have a cute area with picnic tables that you can sit at and enjoy your meal. One time, we just got dessert, the chocolate cake, which was a huge portion and amazing! Another time, we got a full meal. The wings are great, even as take out. They were huge and the naked ones still had a good crisp to them. PROTIP if you are ordering online is NOT to add ranch, as it comes with it already, but I added it thinking it cost extra. The brussel sprouts were also good as a take out item. read more

There was nothing at this restaurant that we didn't absolutely love! We came for lunch and had a wonderful time. All the staff members we encountered were so helpful and kind. We started with drinks -- the Chai-Rish Coffee and Pineapple Express. The Chai-Rish Coffee was the perfect brunch drink, the whipped cream gave it just enough sweetness. The Pineapple Express was smoky and slightly tangy, but a delicious tropical drink for a cooler day! We ordered the jumbo chicken wings as an appetizer. We decided to get them plain with the Buffalo and barbecue sauces on the side. The wings were so flavorful and extra crispy, just the way we like them! For entrees, my fiancé ordered the Smashed Burger and I tried Lane's Hot Chicken Sandwich, both with fries. Everything was spectacular! The burger had so much flavor, and the pimento cheese really put it over the top (in a great way!). The hot chicken sandwich was grilled, which we didn't expect but thoroughly enjoyed. I never would've thought to add American cheese to a hot chicken sandwich, but it was surprisingly a good pairing. Everything about our dining experience was 10/10. One of our local favorites. They have a great bar, great cocktail options. The menu is great and sometimes changes slightly by season. I love their Steak Frites and Orange Olive Oil Cake. I often come in for cake only for take out. It's phenomenal. We go there often for dinner prior to catching a show at Matilda's - located behind their parking lot. Great for date night. read more

Server and bar atmosphere were great , appetizer of chicken wings, super tough meat with very light bourbon maple wing sauce The Smashburger was so bad and dry it was sent back , The new burger was the same , full of some type of yellow cheese and pepper cheese . The chicken dinner was so plain and tough and flavorless for $27 we won't be coming back . Seems good for the locals, As there's not much competition Very cool atmosphere , the traffic and construction did not make a difference in the review . Amazing upscale but casual southern inspired dishes. We ordered the sweet potato hummus and tuna poke to start along with a cup of cream of tomato soup. The hummus was very different, tasty and the crispy thick crackers were amazing with it. For our main dish we had the salmon/scallops bowl and burger. Very savory and juicy dishes. We finished with the lemon goat cheese and blueberry pound cake and the peanut butter jelly icecream sandwich. Both really good but the icecream sandwich short bread was too hard which made it hard to eat. The ice cream was still amazing though. Overall 4 stars for service and food read more

Sunday night bday dinner with another couple. We sat in the back room but prefer the bar area. Our server (William) was very accommodating and helpful. Ladies started with their special sangria which was great and the guys went with draft Hazy like Fox. Sprouts and burrata for apps. Special was a 14 oz NY strip for the bday boy which was over the top prepared perfectly and seasoned. Others had the schnitzel, salmon, and short ribs. All were excellent! Finished with their chocolate cake. Never rushed and never imposed, a delightful 2.5 hour dinner drinks and conversation. Will definitely be back. read more

We came to 7 Acre to meet family for dinner. We arrived early and got a seat at the bar to have some drinks. Our bartender was super attentive and I loved that they have mocktails on the menu! We were seated and while it has been unusually cold in Atlanta, everyone in our party was cold all night! We all kept our jackets on throughout dinner. Their menu changes seasonally and has great options. I got the trout and it was very good, however I did think the menu was slightly overpriced but that could be because it is "farm to table." Overall, I think it's a good restaurant and I would go back, especially considering the limited options in this area. read more

Very interesting restaurant that has many pros and cons! The parking is a rock, bumpy road and outdoor seating right up against an incredibly, busy road! The porch and bar seating is really nice and many of the cocktails are delicious! The food is 50/50. Some really good while others needs some rethinking. Such as, salads are great but I've had the smash burger twice and both times undercooked & so full of grease and fat that i couldn't finish the meal. The Shrimp; however, is excellent! Ordered curbside from here a few weeks ago, and it was amazing! Easily placed an order online and selected curbside pick up. Upon arriving, it was very busy and parking lot was super crowded with no designated curbside spots. The spot closest to the restaurant happened to be open, so we pulled in and called! They said not to worry and would have the food right out. Before we even hung up, someone was on the way to the car with our food! We got the burger, Buffalo wings, and a side of Mac and cheese. The food is delicious! They should get a 5 except for the lack luster service which brings it down. It didn't take long to get our meal after ordering; it was getting someone to take our order. Plus, while I like that iced water is autmatically served, I had to ask for a Coke as at no time were we asked if we wanted something to drink other than water. The noise level is also horrible. I know this is nit picky as the restaurant can't control how loud people talk, but the acoustics were such that I could barely here my server when she actually did speak (I had to have her repeat the specials for example). I'm willing to go back because the food is that good but I hope they get their staff a bit better trained soon. read more
