First visit, we were here on a Friday night. It was packed and we took a seat at the bar. Fairly small space, but really comfortable atmosphere. Lots of TVs, draft beer, full bar, and good-sized menu. I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich with a side of sweet potato tots. Sandwich was hot and juicy, full of flavor! Service was great. The service was so great here! We stopped by after the Alpharetta farmers market for a quick bite and some drinks. We wanted to sit outside and the lady working went through and cleaned off our table from all pollen for us. The drinks were great! They were strong which is a good thing! The appetizers were good but I feel as though the nachos could have been a little better, they skimped out on the cheese. It's a cute little building over to the side of everything else. This was my first visit to Stone House, but it was a very nice place. Celebrating the college graduation of one of my daughters, best friends, the outdoor space was very spacious and well used. Plus... ladies, the bathroom was spacious and very clean! During the celebration, they served appetizer food of chicken nuggets macaroni cheese bites,, a beautiful vegetable platter, pretzel bites, and other delicious finger foods. There's limited space inside at the bar, but the porch wraps all around the building and there is also outside seating at picnic tables. We had Gunner as one of our servers, and we were lucky enough to spend some time with Rob, the owner. If you are in the Crabtree area of Georgia, it would be great to visit this eatery and pub. Stone House Tap. So I would like to share a really nice experiences I had at Stone House Tap. I was there for their Monday night $5. dollar burger, $5. dollar beer at 5 PM. Make sure you get there before five or right at five, because, they will not honor it after 5 PM. But The cool thing is that I had a really nice burger and a local tap pint of beer for just $5. dollars each... then I went home and did not realize that I have dropped my wallet at the bar. The bartender was nice enough to bring it back to me While he is still on the job, to return my wallet. At first, I was surprised I didn't know what he wanted, then he showed me my wallet then I realized I had dropped it at the bar and he took time out of his work to come and return it to me to my house. Such a gracious thing to do...Thank you so much to Stone House Tap, for having such a great offer, and honest employee. I would definitely be back. read more

I've been here a few times now as the first time was when they were soft opening, I believe. What makes me think this is that there was still things in boxes on the ground that hadn't been put up on the walls yet. We had dinner on this visit and everything was order at the bar, including food, no table service. Their outside porch area is nice and some of the tables are covered by shade. There is also a front and rear area, the rear with tables and the front with corn hole and some tables. I got the burger, which was very reasonably priced and came with fries. It was a smash burger and was pretty good. It was a decent size and was a filling meal. The draft beer selection was top notch and the bartender friendly. When we were finished, there was no place to bus so we left our dishes there. The second time I came was for lunch and we sat in the covered area outside. There were a few TVs and more stuff was on the walls. The interior is small, but still a great place to meet up with friends. Parking can be a challenge as they only have 5 spots, but the Crabapple parking deck is right across the street. read more

Our last 4-5 visits have always been on a Friday (usually every two or three weeks in April/May) and that is when we noticed that the overall experience has gone downhill, unfortunately. May 30, 2025, around 6pm. Good crowd. Live band. My family entered from the back stairs to the covered outside seating, and I was met with a male server that came through the set of double doors as if no one is ever on the other side. He wasn't carrying anything, or I would have immediately given way to him, but he was intent on getting in front of me - the customer. (Thinking to myself, 'Where are your manners, young man?') I looked at a seated male customer that saw the game of chicken that was won by the server and he and I just rolled our eyes and shook our heads. We sat at a high-top outside near the front porch and then noticed the band was gearing up to play. Having learned our lesson on a prior visit (music blaringly loud) we moved inside. As the band started, we then remembered the other lesson we learned on another prior visit - that the owners have begun putting a larger speaker on a stand inside the front door. It's not like the customers inside can't hear the music outside - most of the doors are open and there are other speakers in/out throughout the restaurant. This isn't Ameris Amphitheater & there's no need for another speaker that large inside a room the size of a thimble. Perhaps just turn it down so people can hear one another speak without yelling. After about 5 min my husband grabbed some menus. After another 5 minutes we finally had a server. Server wearing lulu like shorty shorts (ya' know, skintight with a 1-2" inseam). You aren't hanging out at home - you are at work - wear something a little more appropriate. Burger patties much smaller than they used to be from Fall 2024 / Winter 2025. Bun stale. We left very disappointed because we used to like coming here. read more

If you like to run to the bar every time you want food or drink, then this "workaurant" is for you. No servers to take your order but once you stand at the bar and order food, they do give a number sign and deliver to your table. Burgers and apps were good. Literally the worst customer service. If I could give it zero stars I would. We went for lunch. They had 1 male employee working at the bar. You have to go to the bar to order the food and it wasn't even busy. He got a simple grilled cheese order completely wrong. I also ordered a side salad with it they gave fries instead. I asked for an unsweetened iced tea and sweeteners on the side. When I asked for the sweeteners he said "we don't have sweeteners here" The food was marginal at best. We got no refills on our drinks.
