It was not like any coffee I had had in a long time. * * * The chicken bowl beat the stupid stuff Starbucks sells you for lunch easily. My home coffee shops vary in the quality of their kitchens. There are some sandwiches and salads to die for. There is also a lot of mediocre stuff that makes Starbucks lunch look good. If my chicken bowl had been rated on an Austin scale from 1 to 10, It would have been a solid 8. I would be happy to eat that over and over and over again. * * * The room is fine. The folks who work there are super super friendly and super super nice. * * * The establishment closes on Sundays ... So I am going to guess that one of the owners or maybe a huge percentage of the staff are dedicated Christians. There is a lot of idealism in the craftsmanship that goes into the coffee.
