My aunt and I have made it a point to stop in every-time we're in Indy, and have never been disappointed. I typically stick to their iced chai, which is very refreshing and one of my favorites. Oh my goodness, it was so good. You might question banana in a latte, but I've been seeing them pop up everywhere and it was delicious. I also got a babka pastry, which I had never heard of before. It's pretty much a braided roll mixed with a sticky bun. It had cinnamon in it and a syrup over it. I snacked on that while I was there and finished it in my car. Super tasty! Before I left I got the "beez nutz" latte because I knew I would need help staying awake while driving for three hours. It was a honey latte with a peanut butter cold foam. Also delicious. I sipped down every drop. This shop is the perfect mix of dark whimsy, community, and coffee. A special place indeed. Give them a visit!

I tried the Space Cowboy, which was a coffee and hojicha drink with some of the chai masala spices and cookie butter. It is in fact as heavenly as it sounds. The flavors blend really well and holds up as the ice melts. Ambiance wise, there's a patio and lots of indoor seating. There's a mix of couches and tables, and quite a few areas where one could work on their laptop. A note on that: they actually have a policy of no laptops after around 5 pm, when they switch over to cocktails. Parking wise, there's about six spaces on the property, but there's more parallel parking that's available on Ohio Street.

There is lots of parking available and lots of tables to stay and dine in. We got one of the tables in a nook area which was really nice. There were multiple high chairs too so it was a great stop with my toddler. I recommend this one completely just for food, just for drinks, but ideally for both!

It was also a fairly large drink too. On First Friday when I went, they had a nice open mic night with local artists performing their original work. Skosh is like a thrift store with a coffee shop inside it. There are couches and furniture nicely arranged that you can sit on, but that furniture is for sale. So is the clothing that is placed hither and thither. So are the mirrors and paintings all around. You can get something to drink and then kind of just wander around and look at all of the things around the store. A black cat wanders around the store, too! How can it get better? It really can't. Skosh is a must-visit if you're in the Garfield Park neighborhood.
