Ok so this is finally my return to 7 Brew, updated review, the possible 3 strikes and I'm done with you review. Well, I am happy to say, that you have redeemed yourselves from 2 strikes to now only one strike. So I went to 7 Brew on Sunday, at around 10:13 am. I looked at the menu before coming and made up my mind. We will try an original, the Blondie. So I arrived at 7 Brew and got in line, in the right side. 10 cars total, 5 on each side. Saw one of the employees taking orders, and she was already on the 3rd car on the left side. So already, looking good. But then, after she took that order she left. So I waited, and waited, and waited, for 7 minutes, with no one taking my order. I made it all the way to the front again, with no one taking my order. At least it was only 7 minutes, and not 30. So I'm at the front and I see two employees inside asking and then pointing at my car, discussing if I had had my order taken. So she comes up to me, sorry didn't get her name, and she asks me very politely, did anyone take your order yet, and I replied no. And very politely she apologized and I acknowledge her apology as to be sincere. I then gave here my order and she said that will be right out. Order was a large Blondie, half sweet, breve. And I got my drink within a minute and left. And I have to say I was extremely happy that the employee acknowledged that no one took my order and apologized. I was extremely happy with the time it took to get my order and I'm extremely happy with how it tasted. Perfectly hit the spot, just the way I like. The only two reasons I'm giving this 4 stars and not five is the time it took to take my order, and the price. Overall $7 for my drink, then to ask for a tip on top of that, isn't right. If the drink was cheaper, then yes. And especially in the heat I'll give a tip. I gave a tip today because I appreciated the apology and understood it to be sincere, and the fact that these guys are out here working and dealing with the wildfire smoke. I will definitely be back to try the other drink selections, because I am very interested. Thank you. read more

I first had a 7Brew in Bentonville. I'm super happy they are sprouting up all over the country. My go to is the Carmel macchiato, half-calf, half-sweet, with coconut milk. The flavors are great and the customization is key. The environment is always upbeat and the workers are patient and friendly. All of the locations are always busy, but the line moves fast! The prices are high, but not unusual in this day and age. Will be back! read more

For the newbies (like me) - this place is drive thru only. With that said, they have two lines for cars to pull through which makes it go by fairly fast. I went on a Sunday morning and got in and out within five minutes. Tried the cinnamon roll mocha was sweet but SO good. Would definitely travel back for the cinnamon roll coffee! read more

This place has gone down. I always order the same drink and despite them "measuring", it comes out differently each time. Today my drink they forgot the syrup--a plain iced coffee; major let down. FYI If you have a friend in your car they no longer let them order separately to get their rewards. read more

A nice addition to the area. Its drive thru only, and while the lines do get long, the wait isn't long. Overall coffee tasted decent, nothing over the top but not subpar either. Love the many different options and customizations they offer. While I like the drive thru, both sure why it requires the employees to be outside in the elements. read more

This is a coffee place vibing among the young crowd. The drinks shave very interesting names and mix and match of fruits and flavors give their drinks a different touch. We tried the Blonde and it was simply great. The matcha drink is for the people who have extraordinary tastebuds. The service was exceptionally well. The staff took their time to explain the flavors which made it so easy to decide on what drink to get. A very friendly atmosphere and each server made sure they walk up to the car to take the order. The drive thru is pretty quick n easy and the staff made sure to accommodate of our specific drinks individually. read more

First time trying Seven Brew and I was pleasantly surprised! I didn't go for any of their wild, over-the-top drinks just kept it simple with a large cold brew, added an espresso shot, and a little light cold foam on top. For seven bucks, the size alone impressed me, and the flavor was solid. Smooth, strong, and not overly sweet. The cold foam added a nice touch, but honestly, even without it, the coffee was really good. The setup and staff were friendly and quick, and the drive-thru moved faster than I expected. Overall, a great first impression. I'd definitely stop by again to try more of their menu! read more

AMAZING coffee!!!! Only negative is there is no menu with prices anywhere so you don't know how much you're spending or being charged and they didn't offer a receipt but my husband and I are obsessed with Dutch bros everytime we go to Arizona and I was shocked how good this was in comparison!!! We tried a sugar free vanilla oat milk latte and it was so good! Love that they don't add insane amount of syrup so you can still taste the coffee!! read more

TL/DR: Shift lead was incredibly rude, unfairly refused service to my son without actually speaking to him for an incident that happened off property after another man exhibited road rage and blamed my son, possible racial bias on the part of the shift lead. I reported to the company, they never even responded. Go to Starbucks, Dunkin, any other coffee shop, but DO NOT go to 7Brew! We are new to the area and will be moving here in May. My son and his girlfriend had heard positive things about your company's coffee, so they decided to drive approximately 30 minutes to try it for the first time. Upon arrival they were immediately met with a confusing and disorganized traffic situation. There were two lines, which were not clearly managed, and the queue extended well beyond 7Brew's property onto a public frontage road. While waiting on the frontage road, my son proceeded in one of the lines. As the two lines began to merge, a driver in the adjacent line signaled for my son to proceed ahead in a zipper merge, which he did. At this point, they were still on public property--not on 7 Brew premises. Suddenly, an older man exited his vehicle, stood in front of my son's car, and began yelling at him that he had "cut" while physically blocking his path. Another individual accompanying this man then involved the 7 Brew shift lead on duty at the time. The shift lead left company property and came out onto the frontage road, where he joined the older man in blocking my son's vehicle, while allowing other cars to pass around them and disrupt the flow of traffic. Without speaking to my son or attempting to understand the situation, the shift lead accepted the other individual's version of events and immediately stated that he would refuse service to my son. My son attempted to get his attention (again, they were standing in front of his car) and explain what had occurred, but he was ignored. Hoping to resolve the misunderstanding, my son continued through the line and reached the service window. At that point, staff members ignored him completely. After he asked to be acknowledged, the shift lead rudely said, "We're not serving you." When my son requested to speak with a manager, the shift lead claimed he was the manager and again rudely told my son he would not be served. My son then left without being served. This situation is deeply troubling for several reasons. First, the incident in question occurred on a public roadway, not on company property, raising serious concerns about why the shift lead felt it appropriate to intervene at all--particularly in a way that obstructed traffic. Second, the shift lead made no effort to gather information, speak with all parties, or de-escalate the situation before refusing service. The decision appears to have been made based entirely on hearsay - the lead certainly wasn't anywhere near the zipper merge, but rather in the 7Brew building, and saw nothing of what happened. I would also be remiss not to mention that the individual who initiated the confrontation and the shift lead were both white, while my son is a person of color. Given how quickly the situation escalated and how my son was treated without any attempt at fairness or even acknowledgement, this raises troubling questions about potential bias. read more

I am SO glad 7 Brew has opened in Lake Zurich! If you haven't been to a 7 Brew before, this is a drive-thru only coffee place. There is literally no inside for you to go, so I highly recommend that you look up the menu online. I got a house blend and let me say... this is some of the best quick coffee I've ever had. Sorry rival coffee franchises, 7 brew is the best tasting by far. The fact that you can customize and there are so many different syrups (and sugar free!!) makes all the difference. The drive-thru splits into two different lanes, with the employees outside to take your order on an ipad. There aren't menu's posted until you get up to the main window, which can be several cars away, so I was definitely glad I took a look online. The employees were super high energy & even though it was super cold, they were moving pretty fast outside. The one thing I don't love about 7 brew is that they don't have a dedicated app, but a website instead - so no ordering ahead here. They do have loyalty perks / drink history, just make sure to give your phone number. Overall, this is a fantastic add to the area. read more

Very convenient and a good location right off the main highway (route 12). The service is excellent and the coffee is hot and good. The only issue I had was the lid on the cup. It doesn't stay on all that well and I was glad I had paper towels in the car. Prices are competitive and it's worth a return visit. read more

Good: coffee tasted good and they had a lot of options from overly sugary overboard drinks to simple with alternatives (I had oatmilk). Both drinks that we ordered were made quickly and tasted good with good coffee quality. Bad: the ordering concept is bizarre and outdated. Why are so many people involved - standing and ordering off of the iPad - 1 person per lane. People running drinks from inside to the cars. These people are so disgustingly rude... I've been here maybe 2 times since it's an hour drive, and both times that I have went were terrible. The drink quality sucks (me and my friends have gotten drinks that weren't correct), and these people are just rude and can't treat people like human beings. I love 7 brew. like i genuinely come here every time i am in the area. however their customer service is always incredibly disrespectful. walking past our car without taking orders. just now did me and my friend want to order separate drinks and we both wanted to use our rewards points as i had a free drink reward i was planning on using today. however my friend went first, and he asked for her number for rewards and when i wanted to use mine he said it's a number per order. i suggested we do two different transactions and he just stared at me and blinked with attitude then proceeded to take my order without letting me use my points. this isn't the first time this worker has given attitude. read more

The drinks are good but there is one particular worker who is always rude. He rushes you and it's not just a "bad mood" he's always mean. We asked him to throw something out which other workers had done for me and he said no cause they have a trash but only for employees? He's just pretty disrespectful. Highly recommend! I come here every Saturday and Sunday and I never have to wait more than 10 minutes! A lot of other well known coffee shops in the area take way longer and that's considering I would usually always place a mobile order beforehand! Always a great experience at the brew! read more

I ordered an iced Creme Brûlée Blondie half sweet (medium size). I still found it slightly too sweet. I took it home and diluted it with some French press coffee that I made at home.
