Do not go here. The workers are sick and are not wearing masks. I came here and one of the workers had a running nose and was coughing and she didn't give personal space. Right next to me the whole time. It's like they just don't care about people during this time. I repeat do not go here if you value your health. You shouldn't have people coming to work sick. If I can give a negative 5star rating, I would. This is the worst store I have ever been to. Not just 711 but overall. I haven't had a slurpees since I was a little girl. My nieces and nephews are visiting and we decided to stop at this store to get one because it was particularly hot and we just got out of the trampoline park. There were no instructions on how to use the slurpee machine. As I don't ever go to 711, my husband told me to pull a lever to get rid of the unfrozen liquid(and there weren't any signs saying not to pull it by the way). This mean big lady started yelling. "Don't pull that!". I had no idea she worked there because she wasn't wearing a uniform so I didn't look at her. But I stopped and moved to a different machine. Then she came to me started yelling at my face "you don't pull that! Who told you to pull it??!!!" I pointed at my husband. She said "You don't know how to operate a stupid slurpee machine!" As if it was common knowledge how to operate one. Because I was terrified I forgot to get a straw. At the counter, I asked my husband to get me straws and she was mopping. He walked and she stared at my husband angrily and waved her hands like wtf?!! How does she expect people to get things? Did she expect them to fly? I wish the management would fire her. read more

This store is horrible. I would give it zero stars if that was an option. I went in with my service animal just now and the manager, I'm guessing, refused service to me because she wasn't wearing her vest. The law doesn't require for service animals to have a vest on and hers was stolen and I'm waiting for it in the mail. I decided not to shop there even though I was planning on spending a good amount of money in the store because he was asking questions that he's not allowed to ask about her truly being a service animal. I tried to then cash my $50 scratcher and he told me he didn't have the money for it. This was his way of refusing service to me without being overly illegal. He said that customers were complaining, however the only one customer in the store advocated for me saying that he didn't mind my dog being in the store and that he knew the manager had more than $50 in the drawer and was able to cash my scratcher. It's a shame because this 7-Eleven has clearly been renovated recently although the inside of the store doesn't reflect that. The display case was empty that holds the donuts and pastries, there are crates and boxes all in the aisles from where he hasn't done his job by putting things away. The store has a great location, however with people like him working it they are going to not do well. I can almost guarantee that I'm not the only person he's treated this way. I plan to follow up this review with a complaint to 7-Eleven directly. read more

Very bad service cashier needs to be more customer friendly. He told us go to another 7 11 so he can fix cheese machine. First I got drinks to cashier he s at register he sees me . He walks away to fix cheese machine. I Wait at register till I finally said out load I guess my drinks are free.then he comes over angry rings us up as he is telling us he has to fix machine and if you dont like it go to another 7 11. This used to be my daily stop in the morning. Earlier this week my "card wouldn't go through" (which I really don't believe because he didn't seem to really push any buttons when it waiting waiting on cashier) he didn't on the only register the employee would try and I didn't have cash. I left with nothing. This morning I returned, the same cashier saw me when I went in and watched me fill a drink and grab a bag of candy. I proceeded to stand in line, ready with cash. When I get up front he takes my drink and tells me he can't sell to me because he lost money on the stuff he didn't sell to me the other day when I couldn't pay. (You mean the $1.00 soda?). I of course leave pissed because I've spent the last 7-8 mins in this store while he sat around waiting to pull a dick move. So now he is losing money on another $1.00 drink that I would have happily purchased today with the cash that was visible in my hand. If I could give this 7-Elven NO STARS, I would. And it all boils down to customer service. The lady there yesterday June 2, 2019 around the hours of 5-8 was extremely rude. I asked her how much a coffee cup was without coffee, just a cup. She made me pay $1.69! I'm here at the 7-11 on Woodruff and Del Amo in Lakewood, dude only charged me 0.50 cent! I asked the lady yesterday, how she was doing today. "Fine!" As she cut her eyes at me with a freakin snarl all over her face. I was like "are you sure?" Lmaooo bruh! Why people with bad attitudes or depression choose to apply for customer service positions... will never compute in my Brain. Then I wasn't used to the set up and couldn't find the microwave for the life of me. I asked " do you guys have a microwave?" Swear I couldn't see it anywhere... Do you know this _____ said " we do." Never pointed it out and just kept "working ". I passed by her as she made her way back behind the counter and she smelled just as bad as as her attitude was and yes I'm talking about pure ass! The thing is I've never had bad customer service at 7-11, ever. But I ain't coming to this one... maybe when y'all fire her I will. I want to report her. She greeted other guests with that attitude, I saw her. Didn't catch her name because she didn't have a name tag on (intentional so she could treat people like shit because she's unhappy, possibly) but I will describe her in case corporate sees this she is morbidly obese, was wearing a long mumu or skirt under her work shirt. She looked either Hispanic or Samoan . She was wearing a ponytail with a part down the middle I believe and she was super pissed off looking. I passed by to get a snack and when you walk in, a horrendous smell of armpit slaps you in the face. The store is also very dirty.

This afternoon I fell into this 7-Eleven due to convenience. The item I wanted was behind the counter. I went straight to the counter and asked the employee for my items. She ignored me, as she was in a personal conversation with another employee. I again asked for the items. She ignored me again. For the third time I asked for my items, specifically stating I needed two of the items. The employee finally decided to give me my items and ring me up, however she only gave me one. I advised her that I had asked her 3 times now for 2. She waved the box in my face and told me there was only one left. I asked if she could see if they had any additional in the back, to which she replied, "No." I then asked if she could supply me which a different type, same brand. (The item I wanted is always cheaper when you buy in twos.) By this time I was very frustrated so my voice may have shown my irritability. She can't see my voice due to my face covering because of COVID-19. The associate snatched the one item she initially rang up from me and told me, "You can go buy it somewhere else since you have an attitude!" At that time I looked at her name tag, Bernadette. I told her that yes, I was frustrated because I had been asking the same thing over and over again and she was being very rude. Now she's telling me to go elsewhere because I have an "attitude". That's completely unbelievable. I told her I would like to purchase my items at the location I was already at. She told me to get out of the store to which I refused. She threatened to call the police on me, to which I advised her to go ahead and do that since I did nothing wrong. She was calling the police for what? Because she assumes I have an "attitude"? Firstly, having an "attitude" is not against the law and secondly I had been patient the entire time. I have never been so upset and disrespected at an establishment. if you have such a largely advertised promotion such as the 7-11 free slurpy day, perhaps you should actually fulfill that promotion. The promotion ends at 7 pm, so if i bring my daughter to the promotion, it is quite aggravating to be told the promotion is over before the advertised time! You wasted my daugter's time and saved yourself 15 cents, but lost any business from me in the future. read more
