I recently joined Jamba Rewards, and one of the perks of registration is 50% off any smoothie. The reward would be valid for two weeks after registration, but one of those weeks I was out of town, so when I got back in town, I made sure to use it before it expired. There's a Jamba closer to me in Lakewood, but I happened to be passing by the Cerritos location, hence why I used my welcome reward there instead. They are located in Cerritos Promenade on the northeast corner of South and Gridley next to The Halal Guys. I arrived on a Sunday at about 5:30 PM, and there was nobody inside the juice shop, which was a little surprising given how packed the parking lot was. I did notice most patrons dining at the adjacent eateries, but none at Jamba apparently. No wait for me in that case! As soon as I came in, Fatima greeted me and was ready to assist. So far, she was the most helpful Jamba employee I've interacted with. The menu board above the front counter didn't exactly say which options were considered smoothies, but when I asked Fatima, she even went a step ahead to explain more about each section of the smoothies menu. Fatima mentioned that the Goodness 'n Greens smoothies were generally healthier, and so I wanted to choose a smoothie in that section, especially since I hadn't necessarily been eating healthy as of late (shhhhhhhhh lol). The menu had red and green circular symbols where red means a fan favorite and green denotes dairy-free. There are 9 Goodness 'n Greens smoothies on the menu, but only the Apple 'n Greens had both colored circular symbols on there. The description on the menu wasn't descriptive enough as it made it look like apples and kale were the only ingredients of this smoothie. I asked Fatima about the Apple 'n Greens, and she mentioned there were way more fruits, even reciting them one by one in the process. Needless to say, I was pretty impressed she seemed to know the menu inside and out. However, knowing the menu inside and out doesn't necessarily equate to proper execution of preparing the drink, though in this case, I wasn't actually paying attention to who was making my drink: Fatima or her co-worker. The Apple 'n Greens didn't really taste like apple and greens. I'm speculating that because there were so many ingredients in the smoothie, it was a case of all the ingredients clashing with one another so that too much bueno became no bueno. As much as I wanted to enjoy the drink, I really wish I had chosen the Acai Super-antioxidant instead as I'm sure I would have liked that a lot better. I asked Fatima how long the wait would be. She estimated 3-5 minutes, and it was about 4 minutes before she yelled out "Apples 'n Greens" rather than my name. I had scanned my QR code to get the 50% off, and my name showed up on my receipt, so I was anticipating her to call my name rather than the drink name. Hopefully she doesn't do this when multiple customers order the same drink. Otherwise, Fatima provided great service! So great that she definitely deserves more than 3 stars, but with all other factors considered in this review, I just haven't enjoyed my overall experience enough to give it the 4th star. I also recall coming to this Jamba location sometime before the pandemic, and my experience there was just meh overall. I keep giving this location the opportunity to do better but I'm disappointed every single time. I recently got hooked on the Buzzin' Mocha Moo'd and have tried it at various locations. This is the only location that gave me a cup of ice cold chocolate milk - no coffee, at all. I've had a few different drinks here and they're always weak, watery, and not enjoyable. The staff are always "busy" even when there aren't any customers. The drinks here are NOT worth the price. Definitely my last visit to this location. read more

I had a very pleasant experience here at this location. Staff was very nice and friendly. I ordered one drink during the happy hour special. The employee started making it and then I remembered I had to order one more. The staff member helped me quickly and did not mind. I didn't catch his name but it was today around 5PM. Disappointed by Manager's Behavior & Lack of Customer Service I'm writing this review in hopes of getting the attention of the owner or franchise operator of this Jamba Juice location. I walked in today at 7:45 PM, well before the posted closing time of 8:00 PM, and was immediately told by the manager Jason that they were closed. I pointed out that the door clearly states the store closes at 8:00 PM, and he replied, "Well, we don't have anything in stock." Meanwhile, I saw other customers still waiting for their drinks, and as I was leaving, another customer walked in and was allowed to place an order. Confused and frustrated, I went back inside and asked to speak with the manager. Jason claimed he doesn't have a manager and when I asked who his boss was, he simply said, "This location is a franchise," and refused to provide any contact information. He was dismissive, unapologetic, and made no effort to explain or rectify the situation. It felt like he was intentionally trying to avoid responsibility and deny service. If this location is indeed franchised, I hope the owner sees this and takes action. Customers deserve to be treated with basic respect--especially when arriving before closing time. read more

5/17/25 I Had a great experience at this jamba, i was greeted politely by a wonderful young man, i didn't ask for his name but i wish i had. He had multiple tattoos with one being a butterfly. I got a white gummy and he had it out in under A MINUTE!!!. I was in a rush to pick up my siblings from school, so he only made it easier. Same with the girl working there, they looked like a good team, it was a very Friendly environment, i definitely recommend you all to come. I hope to catch them again next time i go!! read more

I will definitely be letting corporate know. This is the WOREST Jamba Juice i have ever been to. I would give it negative 5 stars if i could. I came in and got two drinks as I'm driving i notice a big chunk of green/black substance float to the top. I open up my lid to to look closer and it's MOLD. I immediately call them and let them know, the first thing they say is are you sure it's not just fruit. I explain that I'm positive it's not fruit and then they say well we can't really do much about it over the phone. Wasn't concerned , didn't seem to care that mold was found in my drink and god knows if i dank any of it. I would stay far away from this store and I'm definitely going to corporate. read more

Travis was extremely pleasant to everyone who came in the door; he even complimented me on my cute sweatshirt! My order was ready quite quickly and tasted great! They were all out of the normal cups for large smoothies and instead utilized a slightly larger cup-- works for me! :) The establishment was nice and clean on the inside. I'm surprised by how busy this location is. Many people waiting for their orders and I got mine before all of them when I came in after. Of course my order was missing an item so I had to get back in line. The smoothies weren't mixed well at all. Definitely rushing through. Not super friendly but the girl at the register although she got my order wrong and wasn't very helpful, she was kind of nice so there's that. Also a customer had a dog that kept lunging at people, definitely not a service animal so not sure why it was allowed inside. Lastly, it smelled terrible inside. Like literal poop smell. I'm not sure how people work with that smell all day. I feel really bad for all the people who were still waiting for their order when I left. No customer looked very happy. Came in on a Friday night 20 minutes before closing. Felt really bad for coming in late but really wanted my Jamba Juice fix! There was a nice young lady working and made my sophisticated order. The only thing is she forgot to add kale and she remade it. I tasted it and thought it was a bit watered down due to the extra milk added to it in order to make the kale blend smoothly, so I asked her to remake it. She didn't hesitate and kindly offered to remake it for me. She handed it back to me and said if there's anything else I needed to change that I could let her know despite how late it was!
