Ondo Coffee is a very clean and simple coffee shop. The space isn't huge and there aren't too many seats, so it feels a little more focused on takeout than hanging out for a long time. Parking can be a little tight since the plaza itself is pretty small, but the shop had a nice, calm vibe inside. I ordered two Americanos and overall, the coffee was solid. I also liked that they gave me two different bean options. One of the options was described as fruity, and I actually enjoyed that one a lot. It had a nice bright acidity without being too much. The other one was described as having chocolate notes, but I personally didn't really pick up a strong chocolate flavor. It felt more like a non-fruity, smoother option. Personally, I'd recommend the fruity bean if you're trying their Americano. If this place were closer to my neighborhood, I could see myself stopping by pretty often.
Really delicious matcha, lovely and peaceful place, great and friendly staff! Everything you want in a matcha shop! The space is so inviting it makes you want to stay and enjoy your drink there. The matcha itself is really good, no bitterness and very full bodied. I would gladly come back!
Ondo Coffee is a superb classic coffee shop in the era of low quality coffee and cold foam on everything. If you want truly great coffee come here. This is where you will find truly dialed in coffee. A place to relax. A place to kick off the morning. Parking is good on street and in the parking lot in front. Prices are on market. The team knows coffee and is extremely kind. 10/10
The service here was so amazing! They started speaking Spanish to my mom and even wished her a great day as we left. From the beginning, the staff was all so friendly and offering drink suggestions. The drinks were sooo tasty too! Parking lot is small but good amount of space. We ordered Saigon de leche and butterscotch cream latte. 10/10 drinks for all! Will be coming back once we are back in the area.
I got a flat white and a chai latte. Overall, the drinks were just okay. Flat white was pretty standard, but the chai was a little sour and not that creamy. The baristas were really nice though. The place does have pretty interiors. I would go back to try out their matcha and seasonal drinks!
3/10/2026 Mt. Hoji (Seasonal) Got it with whole milk. It was a unique drink! Very creamy flavor, taste and mouthfeel. It tasted a like cereal in milk. But it did not taste like hojicha. It did have that earthy flavor, as it was a sprinkled with a light layer of hojicha powder on top, yet that was the only bit of hojicha flavor. I would definitely get this again! Wish this was a permanent menu item! Cappuccino It was good. Espresso option was Fruity or Choco. I got it in Choco, which is a darker espresso. The darker flavored espresso brought a "chocolatey" flavor. Added a packet of raw sugar. As most coffee shops, the cappuccino was not hot, but medium hot. Wish it would have been slightly more hotter, I think I would have enjoyed it more. Ambiance / Seats / Restroom Limited seats. It is more of a small tray-like table with wooden bench seats. It wasn't uncomfortable or anything like that. When I went, it wasn't busy, so I was able to find seats quickly and enjoy my drinks. There was restroom available too. Customer Service There were three people working there and the person who took my order was friendly and nice. Ondo Loyalty Card Before purchasing the drinks, I was given an Ondo loyalty card. It can be used at both Ondo locations. Buy 10 drinks and you get $5 off the next one! Parking It's in a small strip mall, so parking lot is small. I was there on a weekday, around 1:00pm and there were some spots available. But you can find other parking spots around the area as well. Artesia is not bad when it comes to parking.
This weekend they have a special menu! We tried the Matcha Strawberry from their standard menu and the Patriarch (An Expresso tonic with marmalade and jasmine foam). Both were quite refreshing! The seating area was nice and comfortably sat a few people, parking lot is a little small. Service was nice and friendly. The coffee shop could not accommodate a large group of people and likely not ideal for studying, etc.
Delicious Matcha Lattes and Pastries!! I got the Matcha Latte, the Strawberry Matcha Latte, and the Tomato Pesto Danish! The Matcha Latte was great! It was a good balance of sweet and bitter. The Strawberry Matcha Latte was also great! I enjoyed the strawberry bits while also keeping the balance of sweet and bitter. The Tomato Pesto Danish was amazing! I was worried that the pesto would be too oily and overwhelming, but it was actually not oily. The tomato was still juicy, and the combination of the tomato and the pesto was so good! The employees were so nice and attentive! She was checking in a couple times to see if I had any questions on the menu. The cafe looks small on the outside, and it is small inside as well. The cafe is clean, there's plenty of seating and tables, and there's a restroom for customers. I wouldn't consider this cafe a study spot because I think there's only one or two tables and seats for studying. There's also no big table so this isn't a group studying spot. The cafe is so cute and nicely decorated. The parking lot outside made it easy to find parking, but I know the parking lot can get busy during certain hours. I would come here again! There's lots of pastries options that I'd love to try, and the Matcha Lattes are worth getting again!

Drank it in 5 mins. Just came today and glad I did. I said it was my first time and was planning to get the Mt. Hogi but the cashier said it has less caffeine. He recommended the Guinness butterscotch cream latte or the Saigon de leche. Parking can be tough if plaza is packed. Small cute ambiance with wooden benches.
I've had this bookmarked and remembered to swing by here the next time I was in the Cerritos/Artesia area. It was mid-morning on a weekday so there was plenty of parking although kind of a tight fit. I ordered their most popular coffee drink: The Guinness Butterscotch Cream Latte. It's a cream top iced latte with house-made butterscotch sauce with Guinness Zero (non alcoholic beer). It was a bit on the pricey side for the rather small size. I also purchased an apple danish from the pastry case. There is minimal seating inside. I was confused with the seating area at first; there are three stools and also a bench along the walls with wooden cubes here and there. I wasn't sure if one was supposed to sit on the cubes or the bench. I initially sat on a cube with my drink on the bench so I could look out the window but everyone who came in after me was sitting on the bench, so I nonchalantly switched. Back to the food. The apple pastry was quite good with delicious apple pieces although the pastry itself was dense and slightly tough to cut through. I was definitely disappointed in the latte. I liked the bold espresso and the cream top was good but I couldn't really taste any beer or butterscotch. Just a slight sweetness. Maybe my taste buds are incapable of tasting subtle flavors. I caught a bit of butterscotch with my final sips though. After my initial tastes of this drink, I decided to just stir it all up and enjoy it. I appreciated the judicious use of ice. I've tried several coffee cafes' cream top lattes over the past few months and think I'm done with that phase as I'm just not enjoying them as much as straightforward lattes.
A friend recommended this spot to me, and i've seen a couple tiktoks about it so I decided to give it a try! I went around 10AM on a Tuesday and it wasn't too busy. They have a little cozy seating area inside that would be nice for studying or just chatting with a friend. It's very warm and inviting inside which I liked, definitely very chill. I wasn't sure what to get and the barista recommended a brown sugar matcha latte. I was blown away! Soooo delicious and creamy, the matcha taste is THERE but it's also nutty and sweet. All the flavors were there!!! Definitely a 10/10 and I'm very picky with my matcha, you can tell the quality of the matcha powder is top tier. They also have a few pastries that looked really good but I unfortunately didn't try. I'll definitely be back again. 10/10 Experience, service was nice & quality amazing!
Been wanting to try this place and glad that I did! Tried the Guinness Butterscotch Cream Latte and Mt. Hoji-- could definitely tell the quality from the first sip. I think the only downside is the price point being $7.5-8 for a 12 oz cup as I wish I had more to sip on, but that's usually how it is with good quality coffee places. Shop is kind of small, so not much places to sit or study if needed. I'm interested in trying out the Saigon De Leche the next time I come though!

My new favorite coffee shop in a sea of coffee shops in the Cerritos/Artesia area. They have beans and coffee supply for sale. Pastries were yummy. I ordered the butterscotch latte. Delish. I can't wait to go back. read more
super underrated coffee shop! i really liked the two drinks i got - Mt Hoji's sea salt cream top complemented the hojicha tea flavor well. Saigon de Leche on their specialty menu tasted very classic, but with solid espresso! i think the Hojicha flavor took the cake though! the baristas behind the table were kind & always would say a nice greeting to whoever came in and left. they also have a stamp card! i enjoyed the clean/wood aesthetic, but would love more tables/benches for studying/getting some work done even tho the space is a little smaller! i think it would be neat if you guys were looking to attract more study aesthetic clients :) read more

5/23/26 They've been in the community serving good hot & iced beverages, pastries with friendly & attentive staff, cute aesthetics My oat milk latte was made to my liking, it has deep & rich flavors. Some indoor seating (for roughly a dozen patrons, a few benches outside. Not much for hanging out too long or studying--perhaps briefly Parking is shared among other businesses in this plaza. Ondo coffee. Parking was a bit tight but once I got in. Was so worth it. Butterscotch cream milk latte. So good. Housemade syrups. Not too sweet. Very balanced actually. Very unique drink. Loved it Definitely will be back to try other drinks or get this again. I loved it that much read more
Great spot for matcha purists. I had the matcha latte and it was simply excellent. Clean flavor, high quality matcha, and not overly sweet. The vibes are great overall, and it is a nice place to sit and enjoy your drink. Parking is available in a lot. On a Friday, the spots felt a bit small but there was still plenty of space. I imagine weekends might be tougher when it gets busy. There is some seating available, and it works well if you want to get a bit of work done. read more
I've been meaning to stop by Ondo Coffee for quite some time and finally came around. The staff was very welcoming and gave us the time to look at the menu. I was really looking forward to trying out the seasonal Blue'min Milk Tea, but unfortunately there weren't any substitutions for oat milk. I went with the Royal Mylk Tea instead. The drink was light and refreshing, and perfect for a hot day out. In terms of Ondo's seasonal drinks, I thought that they had a creative menu. I can see myself stopping by again in the near future! read more
The coffee here was strong. I ordered the Guinness butterscotch. The cream was delicious. It blended very well with the espresso. I would like to return to try other drinks here. Ondo Coffee is the kind of coffee shop you want to linger in. The space is minimalist but warm, with clean lines and thoughtful wood accents that make it feel calm and inviting. Their signature drinks are genuinely good--not just pretty--and clearly well thought out. They really make the most out of the space. It's an ideal spot to meet up with friends, catch up, and actually have a nice conversation without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. Everything feels intentional, from the atmosphere to the drinks. I love Ondo and exited to see them continue to grow in success. I've been following to owner, Bryan, since he was delivering homemade milk teas throughout LA during Covid, and proud to continue to support him with Ondo. I was in the Orange County area for a conference and saw they had recently opened a second Ondo location and had to come check it out. Great location with lots of parking and cute interior with good amount of seating. I'm not a big coffee drinker so I typically go for the teas and love their Blu'min milk tea and a pastry to go. Their staff were so friendly and quick. Can't wait to see Ondo continue to grow, I'll always come back to support. read more

A great coffee shop for someone who is into speciality coffee. They do pour overs here, which is what I enjoy drinking most. You can see them use Orea brewers to make their pour over! I love the presentation of the coffee when you order for here. The coffee was excellent and the baristas now how to make a good cup. There are also many high quality beans for sale! I picked up their juicy strawberry beans this time around, and it is absolutely wonderful. Many brewers and drink-ware from reputable coffee brands available too, such as Origami, Hario, and etc. Love this little gem of a shop. read more

Small parking lot with street parking. Not too busy in the morning and service was friendly and quick. The pesto & tomato pastry was delish. Lots of pesto and very toasty. I got the Mt. Hoji it had oatmilk and hazelnut. If u like nutella, it tasted like nutella due to the hazelnut. Very rich in flavor. Need to try the blue drink which they said was made with tea that turns it to blue? Looks pretty...so i wonder what it tastes like. read more

Highly recommend dropping by if you're in the area! I got Mt Hoji to try and omg...best hojicha latte I've ever had!! The hazelnut flavor and cream was also perfect with it. My husband can be quite picky with his espresso but he loved it so much to buy some beans and a 2nd drink! The notes on the espresso were quite strong and even me, who can't usually taste anything besides bitter/sour, was pleasantly surprised by it. Not the most comfortable seats if you plan to study/work but still I'd recommend dropping by!! read more
#169 in my Coffeeshop Chronicles. Ondo is a specialty coffeeshop that recently opened their second location here in Artesia. I tried their bestseller and signature drink, the Guinness Butterscotch Cream Latte. I was excited to try this one because the drink screamed butterbeer. I have to say, the flavor profile was incredible. It didn't taste like pure butterscotch or straight up beer. Rather, the house-made Guiness butterscotch sauce was rich without being overly sweet, and had this almost burnt taste to it. I'm not sure how else to describe it, other than to say it's a creative flavor combination. Anyways, the guiness butterscotch latte is their version of a cream top latte, only infinitely better! Keep in mind though, this drink is non-adjustable (other than the number of espresso shots). I also tried their Saigon de leche, which is basically a standard Spanish latte. It didn't impress me like the guiness butterscotch one did, but it was a solid drink nonetheless. The shop itself is a small location with some bench seats in the corner, and they're open from 8 am to 4 pm every day. ****************** My Ratings: 1 Star: Terrible; just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars: Wasn't a fan so Not likely to return. 3 Stars: Meh. I got the iced Guinness Butterscotch Cream Latte. The coffee was surprisingly strong, almost reminiscent of Vietnamese coffee. It had a bold, intense kick without being too overwhelming. I liked the sweetness level of the drink, the cream top did not overpower the coffee flavor. I would not recommend this to anyone who likes sweet milk with a side of coffee lmao. You can't make any mods to this drink either. I was feeling incredibly tired this day, but this drink woke me up. Parking is in a shared lot with a hair salon and a Korean-Chinese restaurant. I had trouble finding parking. The shop is cute, and they have merchandise and coffee supplies you can buy. I just grabbed my coffees for to-go but there are some spots you can sit down to drink your coffee. I wouldn't recommend this place for studying as they have limited space. read more
Stopped by Ondo for an espresso tonic and a bag of coffee beans, and both were excellent. The espresso tonic was bright, refreshing, and well balanced, and the beans I took home were just as good when I brewed them later. This place definitely knows its coffee. The ambiance is modern and calm with nice music and a clean seating area. It is a little on the cold side, and while the space is comfortable, it is not the best place to work. It is perfect for sitting down and chatting with friends. They also have some unique and cute merch, and the pastries looked great, though I stuck with coffee this time. Service was friendly, quick, and knowledgeable. Coffee: 5 out of 5 Ambiance: 4.5 out of 5 (slightly cold) Service: 5 out of 5 Overall, Ondo is a great stop for high quality coffee and a short, relaxing visit. I will definitely be back. read more

New coffee spot in the hood so of course I had to try it. I've been waiting for this place to open for a while, too. There's literally 3 coffee shops just near each other on south st and Norwalk! It's crazy! Anyway, went in to this cute little spot. Seating is a bit limited but thankfully I came at a time when not too many people were there or everyone that came ordered to go. I was eyeing their Guinness butterscotch cream latte and their Saigon drink but opted for the Guinness. There is no modifications for this 12oz iced only drink btw. Thankfully the girl said it was not too sweet and she was right. I enjoyed this drink but nothing too spectacular about it. I'm not quite sure what makes it Guinness and the butterscotch flavor is faint. I guess that could work for most people too, since it could make it too sweet for some? The coffee is good but as I said nothing too special about it. For $7.50 would I get it again? Probably not. All the other drinks in the menu were about the same price point or a little bit more for some. read more
Ondo Coffee is now currently in soft opening in the Cerritos/Artesia area. This spot is a welcome addition to the community and another great option for your coffee/matcha fix. They are located in a plaza that can get tight for parking depending on the day and time when you come. Inside, they have a nice modern interior with about 3-4 tables and some bar seating. For their menu, they have a solid selection of different coffee, signature, seasonal, and matcha drinks to choose from. I opted to try one of their seasonal drinks: the Peach Royale. Visited the newly opened coffee shop in Artesia / Cerritos called @ondocoffee.co . Happy that I don't need to drive to LA just to check out Ondo. We ordered two pour overs and a Peach Royal Oat Milk Latte. I really enjoyed the peach Royal but it's on the sweeter side. If you find it too sweet after a sip, I would recommend asking for more oat milk. This place is not for your remote working, it's for hanging out with a friend. It's more of a grab and go type of coffee spot. It's a tight narrow space inside and it's loud because of people or the music. The parking will be packed in the afternoon but lots in the morning. As someone who recently got into drinking coffee again and overwhelmed by the amount of coffee spots there are, I would say this is a must try! The barista was super nice and we got our drinks pretty fast. I forgot to take a picture of the seating area but would say this is more a pick me up spot. 7/10 on the drink (Butterscotch Cream Latte). As mentioned I just got back into drinking coffee so it was definitely on the stronger side. You're getting a 12oz drink for $7.50 per drink. Definitely on the more expensive side for me but is that the average price now? Would definitely recommend you to try this spot though if you're in the area. 5/5 stars for customer service and 3/5 stars for price ;) read more

I've never really liked coffee in a 16oz cup because it usually tastes too milky, but Ondo has the perfect balance of sweetness and espresso. Their hazelnut latte is honestly one of the best I've had, and the staff are always super sweet and friendly :) read more

Totally not a first timer of Ondo as I've tried their Hojicha from the shop in Hollywood. The Artesia outlet's apparently still relatively new and still on soft-opening but they're going to do the grand opening next week! The venue was much cuter IMO, and it's quite creative bringing that petite tables that could nicely sit on the long bench, saving spaces! Parking situation was also much easier on the Artesia one with dedicated free parking space. Not sure since when, but they now had loyalty punch card, giving $5 off after 10 purchase - WIN WIN! This visit I went for their top seller Guinness Butterscotch Cream Latte, which everyone seemed to EXTREMELY LOVE. Sipping it for the first time, I was mesmerized by the unique flavor it presented, which was hard to describe in words, but it was indeed SUPER GOOD! It was nothing like others I have tried, even with them carrying butterscotch flavor. Worry not about it being overly sweet or taste like beer; as it's simply just right and the cream also wasn't overpowering at all, neither did it taste like beer. This spot is more for people that like coffee, I'm not the biggest coffee fan but theirs is solid. I wish that they had just regular cream top. I tried the Mt. Hoji and felt like the syrup was overpowering the hojicha flavor, it was too much for me. The coffee looked like it was gonna be super milky/creamy, but it's actually very strong. Next time, I would want to try just a regular matcha or hojicha. They have a small seating corner, not good for studying but rather a quick chat.
